Liked the honest review only thing I would say about the paddle/ paddling is it would probably help if you didn’t have the paddle upside down. The more curved part of the paddle goes down
I agree just get a trolling motor and my friend you can do circles around the hobies I have the 128t ascend and I put a trolling motor on it now I can downrigg too

Just a heads up I had the same yak I took it out once and had the same issue with alot of water in the hull I took it back and got a refund and got the old town topwater 120. It's a awesome kayak very stable I took it out in 20 mph winds and it handled it great tracked good in the wind and I never felt like I was gona flip. I highly recommend getting the old town topwater 120 you can find it at Austin kayak.Looking foward to seeing more videos 👊👊
Tommy Turner heck yeah man thank you I appreciate that a lot. This past weekend we took them out again, still gettin water but I think I figured out how to fix it. We are probably going to upgrade to something better next year.
Good kayaks for the price point, like you said they're tanks. I ended up adding trolling motor to it I pass up hobies all the time. I'm still deciding if I want a hobie now since the trolling motor worked so great I originally put it on it temporarily till I upgraded but now I'm I'm having second thoughts if an upgrade is needed

I have 2 myself I like them very stable and roomy. dont have an issue on paddling them, just find out where the wind is blowing.

Hobie is a boat pretending to be a yak! if youre not paddling....might as well have your foot on a trolling motor pedal instead of paddle pedals! LOL
