The "creatures" you referenced several times and showed the pins of are alebrijes. They are Mexican folk art sculptures of spirit animals to help guide people like Dante in "Coco", I know, different company than Knotts.
It’s impressive what they did here, but the Roaring 20’s needs some attention specifically the Boardwalk are with Xcelerator being SBNO the are desperately needs an upgrade
I’m from Santa Barbara. It’s famous for Fiesta and Cinco De Mayo celebrations. I just went to Knott’s yesterday to see the new Fiesta Village and it looked exactly like I was back home in Santa Barbara celebrating Fiesta week! Very authentic to the Spanish culture! I’m sure you also know, the little models of the different Missions on display at Knott’s. One of them: Mission Santa Barbara!
Looking forward to going back to knots again soon looks awesome after the Refurb It was closed when we where there. After your great videos of knots we went for the first time in October before our days at Disneyland. We went had a great time.

I think they will go in and do a little to the boardwalk. But prob not too much since a lot of it is already refurbished. Hopefully we will get some updated restrooms in that area.
I love well done landscapes at night and this is sweet! I am a landscape designer/builder by trade and I love night scapeing with light. I hope they adjust some of those spots down a bit becasue they are a too bright...and I love Knotts and yes..I will make that a destenation next time in town. Thanks Dillon

I used to work at Fiesta Village as a cook from 2015-2019. I have heard about all the new things to Fiesta makes happy with tears on how beautiful that looks now.

Theme/amusement parks in various parts of the world in today's era are really upping the ante. From Asia to Europe to Dubai, etc. But the weather, history & marketplace (millions of potential customers in a region) of KBF give it certain advantages. Owner Cedar Fair's flagship park, Cedar Point in Ohio, doesn't tap into as many assets, so CF will hopefully never mismanage KBF the way that, by comparison, Six Flags is doing with Magic Mountain. Nothing but coasters with limited theming & inattentive maintenance grows old fairly quickly. Hey, KBF/CF, as the US's oldest theme park, try to always keep the standards high. (Even Disney is apparently now struggling to do that)

This video is a perfect example of Theme Parks like Knott's and Universal continuing to invest and evolve it's parks and guest experience. Meanwhile Disney force feeds "the undesirables" aka Keyholders recycled UpSell Events like the announcement of Pre-Sale of Oogey Boogie Bash coming up in June, and hopes that the injection of IP with Encanto last week is enough to keep KeyHolders at bay. I expect them to bring back Electrical or Paint the Night in the future, in what seems to become an Annual Event to Capitalize on the Nostalgia of when the Park's were actually innovative and provided guest with conceptualized theming/story-telling. As a lifetime AP/Keyholders who did not Renew last year I was really hoping that Epic Universe would force Disney to step up their game and regain focus, but I can no longer live in the fantasy land of Blue Sky Cellar pedaling conceptual ideas that will never be executed and if they are (Tiana's Bayou) will be dollar store budget and repurpose already in place Animatronics from the retired Splash Mountain. THANKS FOR SHINING A LIGHT ON THE PARKS THAT ARE SHOWING THEY CARE ABOUT THE GUEST!
I'm from the Pacific Northwest, to plan a Disneyland trip was a big deal; saving, planning, transportation. Disneyland used to be truly magical, it was worth the sacrifice. However, Disney has shown it's greed, and sadly, has lost its appeal (for me). I've never been to Knott's, but would definitely consider it if I get the chance to come down to CA again.
Knotts did a spectacular job with it!!! ❤️ They really are crushing the competition, headed in a fantastic direction with the park!! So happy to see them plus their park without taking anything away, unlike Disney who seems to be doing the opposite lately with removing fans beloved attractions.
The problem with knotts is that they failed to integrate their signature characters throughout the park to give it its own personality. Right now they just have generic lands, which is fine for teens…but teens are….yeah. But with some themed snoopy characters for each zone… Calico mines, timber mountain, bear-y tales, could all have some great peanuts infusion. Ugh…teens…
….but that’s what makes a theme park unique. The characters do play a role in the lands but they also compliment their originality. Disneyland still has lands like that too. Adventureland, Tomorrowland, fantasyland and Frontierland all do the same thing. Camp snoopy has a woodland theme but compliments snoopy and his friends. Fiesta village is Spanish themed and the peanuts characters can compliment that. Same with ghost town and the boardwalk. Not everything needs to be attached to an IP. IP is good here and there but what makes theme parks great is being able to explore other worlds and places that have nothing to do with a movie or character. “Theme” park.
No more games. But for the better, I don’t think people should pay top dollar to go to a theme park to play carnival games when there are rides and attractions included with admission.

FINALLY!! I've been waiting for this video! I refuse to watch anyone else's coverage until Theme Park posts. You just give such an awesome presentation. Your narrations make what ever you're covering come alive for the viewer. Now I can go watch the other ones.
I feel like they should re-do the boardwalk cause they should definitely positively re-do coast ride as a 5,3 10 yr old it hurts so much and they should re-do some other rides two
Fiesta Village looks great, especially at night! To me where Knott’s shine are the areas of Fiesta Village, Camp Snoop and of course Ghost Town. They are also shine with most of their food offerings and shopping. But where they fail is the Cedar Fair influence, trying to stuff in thrill rides that have no real theming and the “carny” rides. As they say, you can put lipstick on a pig, but it’s still a pig. Ghostrider is an example of doing it right. Silver Bullet, Supreme Scream and Xcelerator are just sad examples of doing it wrong - and trying to play with the “big boys”. My hope for Knott’s is to take down some of these eyesores. Expand the park into one of the parking lots (and build a parking structure for another area) and give us some wonderfully creative themed attractions (not just “rides”) in the vain of the original Knott’s Berry Tales - the wonderful Rolly Crump designed dark ride. Final comment: I have been to Dollywood and yes they have “thrill rides” and coasters. But somehow they did it in a way that it is all themed and unobtrusive. Which is why if I lived in that area I would have a season pass to Dollywood because it is very “repeatable”, whereas for us, Knott’s just isn’t.

The parachute ride was attached to the Sky Tower and was removed awhile ago. Super unique attraction and remember going on it. 😁
