    This is a PHS documented, #s matching, factory Lucerne blue T/A. California car with original metal. Professionally restored by T/A experts- Restore a Muscle Car. Thos one is exceptional.
    EXTERIOR: Exceptionally clean original California body. Original uncut body panels. The car is straight everywhere, smooth everywhere including along the bottom. It still has factory pinch welds around the wheel well lips. I did not see a crack or bubble. The rubber bumper, shaker hood scoop and spoilers are in excellent condition. They were only available white or blue, this is the more desirable code 26 Lucerne blue. The metal flake was laid out evenly and the clear coat was polished to a smooth glossy finish. The center stripes were properly installed. Jambs are painted slick, the door lip is clean. Weatherstrips and window seals were replaced. The glass is crystal clear. The grills and headlight bezels are excellent. In back the tail lights, bumper and emblems look new. The Rally ll wheels look great, BFG tires look like new.
    INTERIOR: It is really nice inside. It's a deluxe interior. Upholstery, door panels, carpet, headliner were replaced. I'm looking at a new formula cushion grip steering wheel, the machine turned instrument panel is excellent and it has the rally gauges. It has an AM-FM radio. The center console and shifter bezel look new. All the plastic- kick panels, rear side panels seat backs are excellent. It has a factory rear defogger. Everything looks real clean and fits nice.
    ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Vin # matching Ram Air lll 400 with correct # carb, ram air exhaust manifolds, correct chrome valve covers. It features power steering and power brakes. The compartment is very clean and proper. The firewall still has factory paint, all the metal is smooth.

    Does the horn work? If not send it to Maple Motors in Tennessee. They specialize in muscle / classic cars where the horn doesn't work.

    One of those older cars that looks fast, just sitting there. Camrys, Accords and even Camaros and Mustangs of today, don’t have a fraction of the style of these old muscle cars. And the sexiest steering wheels EVER offered in an automobile!! 🥰

    Im friends with a lady in West Bend, Wisconsin. She is the original owner of a white '73, 455 Trans Am. It's all original, original paint. She approaching her mid 70's. Maybe I'll swing by for a visit and see if she's willing to sell. We used to be neighbor's and at the time I owned a white 2000 white WS6 Trans Am and a white '89 Formula 350. She thought that was pretty cool.

    Didn’t the ram air cars come with functional hood scoops ? That looks like a shaker style hood from a later year car

    • @JohnDoe-wy2py
      @JohnDoe-wy2py 3 года назад +2

      The Formula Firebirds had the scoops, the TA's had the shaker hood scoop.

    • @hotrod5853
      @hotrod5853 3 года назад +1

      Yes the shaker style hood scoop is functional on the Trans Ams, but I noticed the flap is missing, it would open up by solenoid when stepping on the gas peddle. So not sure why this one has it missing. Would say the car is not complete without it!

    One detail that needs attention: the gap between the front endura bumper and the lower valance panel is too large, especially on the passenger side under the headlight. An easy bumper/panel adjustment would make it perfect.

    This is the same car that previously sold at Barrett Jackson auction in Fall 2019 for $59,400 and again in 2020 for $52,400. Nice car but curious to know why it's changing owners often. Is it due to an inoperable radio?
