- I make a helmet that looks like the head of Bumblebee as seen in the new Bumblebee movie!
This DIY tutorial video will show you step by step how I made the helmet from EVA foam and some paint. No big power tools used this time, just a sander, heat gun, and a Dremel.

I saw a guy do it on Evil teds foam fanatics, it was so good you wouldn’t believe it was made out of foam unless you saw it being made. Odin would not be able to do it as good as him, but then again Odin doesn’t go for screen accuracy, he makes things the way he wants to. I made a screen accurate Infinity Gauntlet that I think is better than Odins, but it will NEVER get as many views, maybe check it out if you’re interested.

I wonder if you had made the holes in the eyes even bigger and put in some kind of shiny silver tube to look through from the back of the reflector to the lenses if that would help you see better and not get blinded by the light? don't know how that would make the eyes finally look and it might come out terrible but would be worth a try I think.

I love Transformers, grew up watching the cartoon so you can probably quest I've seen all the movies as well. This build is supper cool. I've been pondering a helmet design, then I have decided to make a half mask.

You can try to use the magnets as contact points for your positive and negative wires to run power from the helmet to the mask.

Odin: wrap the battery lead round the screw. Then solder a wire to a thin steel sheet and secure that in the face-plate foam with a magnet behind it. The do the same thing with another lead.

This one was a little different, but I do love your vids just as much as I always have. I do like how you've gotten much more detailed as your videos go on, and how much care you put into each one. I also enjoy the direction you're taking to make props both aesthetically pleasing AND comfortable/realistic for a cosplayer to wear around a con /all friggin day/. If I'd done it, I would have gone with one piece and probably ended up taking it off and carrying it under my arm!
Once again, great vid! Can't wait to see both your plans for new props/vids and possibly an update on Bumblebee!
P.S. I think a cool idea would be to include a small fan into the next helmet piece you do, since I've seen some really tiny battery powered ones sold in stores. (I cant think of the brand though). If you had the space, it could be INVALUABLE on a hot con day.

You can probably fit small speakers in where the vents are and then just do the bumblebee radio talk might be heavier but it would be pretty damn cool.
would love to see you do a duel disk from any of the yu-gi-oh! series. i think that would be awesome!
