Man that Lincoln was SOFT!!! I don’t know who built it, but they did a bad job at it!! I’ve ran them before and know they should be WAY stronger than that!! Must’ve been a rust bucket. 🤷🏼♂️
Yup. Most of the fords should be strong like a crown Victoria
@@ryanbenbow-zx2sd I can’t believe how fast it was trashed!! I ran 1 suicide Lincoln in 6 hard derbies and it was still straight. Nose hadn’t even started to come up. Key to the front end is to stick the bumper out about 8 inches in front of the “core support” area. You need that bumper to roll up and lock in just under the top of the grill area. It spreads the load to the top supports and bottom frame rails at the same time. Much stronger to have 4 spots that support the front instead of only 2.
Yea I agree should have been way harder. They are always a little softer in the back but that one just blew apart like a tin can. I dunno why he didn’t protect the rear anyways. Everyone knows those are front only cars anyways.
