  • What's believed to be a newborn Great White Shark has been captured on film for the first time ever by RUclipsrs in California.
    Carlos - who posts under the name of TheMalibuArtist - uploads drone videos that have wracked up millions of views on RUclips, often showing great whites swimming worryingly close to humans.
    As far as experts are aware, the birth of a great white shark has never been witnessed - but this new footage could be the closest thing to that.
    However, some marine biologists urge caution at jumping to the conclusion that this is definitely a newborn great white shark.

    The footage that The MalibuArtist got of this newborn is extremely convincing, if you watch the whole thing., meaning the female acting erratically who dives, then this teeny tiny white swims up. There’s no other conclusion possible. And yeah, it’s a sample size of 1, but come on. He’s managed to capture something no one else has. Using drones like this is so much better than getting artificial behavior from the sharks due to chumming etc. His videos are gorgeous, capturing the shark’s behavior without any interference from humans.

His ambition is always to capture as much intetrstimh drone footage regarding shark behavior in various regions to help marine scientists and marine preservationists in their research and efforts to collect reliable data for it.
      He travels the world to film sharks eith his drones (which he has rare expertise in) and his only personal publishing is sharing on social media, to give better publiv awareness about these illusive creatures. The fact that sharks only recently have been studied via professional drone equipment is indisputable and has already brought tons of insights into shatk behavior and populations in specific areas previously perceivable due to the poor visibilty of our most stealthy marine friends.

      Everything that the BBC reports on has sadly lost many of its meaning now due to the BBC’s refusal to report on the issues of human death and suffering happening now in 🇵🇸 and instead focusing on any other little thing to report on rather than the bigger issues of human suffering and gen0cid3 happening in the world
      The BBC have their clear agenda and serve not the freedom of the press that they claim to be serving but their new gods of money and political power that they have traded for their morality, journalists’ work ethical code, and the blood of those it has affected and will affect due to their silence and complicity
      We who remain free and truly honour those values, of which the BBC is hypocritical of, must now write words carefully on online giants like RUclips to not have our voices silenced and erased by these giants
      It is more important for RUclips and the BBC to erase the existence of the words gen0cid3 on their forums rather than to report on the actual gen0cid3 happening in the word
      In simplest and saddest of words to truly comprehend: those organisations lie. On one hand claim morality to fight against human suffering and for freedom and in reality serve to report as little as possible on the gen0cid3 against a people and silence voices that speak the truth

      @southwesthardypalms how do we know their 5ft long? No-one has ever seen a newborn great white before. How long is the average adult female? The longest that I've heard of is 20 feet. If the average is 15 feet, having a take up ⅓ the length of her body, seems too much.

    • @rikmorley1729
      @rikmorley1729 8 месяцев назад

      No I've seen a fair few shark progs and they suggest new born pups are about 5 feet long

    • @mageofdoomsie1598
      @mageofdoomsie1598 7 месяцев назад +1

      Nope, it’s actually perfect size! We’ve studied newborns and juveniles before, we just haven’t captured a live birth on film yet. Great whites give birth to a singular pup, and like all other babies in the world, it’s curled up in a fetal position within the mother, so it’s not like it was fully extended in its mothers womb. The babies have to be big in order to survive, since they don’t have the protection/food of their mothers like mammals do with their babies.
      Think of sea mammals of great size, like whales or dolphins. A humpback whale can get up to 60 feet, and their calves can be up to 20 feet! A full grown bottlenose dolphin is 13 feet long, and their calves are about 3-4 foot long!
      It seems like these are big babies when compared to human babies, but you have to keep in mind that human babies are a bit of a freak of nature when it comes to how big we are at birth. Due to how fast our brains grew relative to other species, our heads grew bigger than our pelvises, so we needed to be born before that happened otherwise we would die out. That’s why newborn humans are so helpless at birth, we’re technically all premature. A shark pup doesn’t have the time or energy to wait to grow up and be coddled by its mother, its needs to be born and survive on its own immediately, so it’s given extra time to “bake” so to speak.

    Never swim at Dawn or Dusk, or at night or when the water is churned up and murky, or during a full moon. At ALL these times SHARKS FEED. Or you could ignore this advice, and die. I live in Oahu, and see shark warnings at the beach (for tourists) all the time. Those of us who live here, know this,like we know you don't stand in the middle of a Highway, DUH. The last guy who ignored this a week or so ago died from a shark attack. He was in his early 30's I believe. We lose track...but Crap age to die, just saying. If you wouldn't grab food from a pitbull why would you screw with feeding sharks??? It's Their Ocean, you just get to play in it, but don't be a dummy bat! Because you can blame the MAC truck, or the Shark, but either way, you're still dead and it's your fault. There's a reason every hotel in Hawaii has a pool.
