- so iv have quite a lot of questions about the van so this tour should clear a lot of the answers up. it stated life as a vauxhall mini bus and i have converted it to use as an off road adventure / camper van for mountain bike racing and trips away with the club and friends. any tech questions please get in touch either below or on my instagram @builderonabike

Matt Mattius ye no rust tbh honest. Was a bump on the lowe arch on back wheel but we sorted properly it before spraying.

Nice job mate well done I'm thinking about converting one of these..
I believe it's the jtd fiat engine in disguise which I've got in my punto and run on a blend of veg oil and diesel or petrol.. Saves quite a bit and it's one of the few common rails that take it.

Absolutely astounding job mate. I'd love to have a setup like this. Hate to ask but what sort of ball park figure did it cost for the full rig? Thinking of doing something like this myself at some point. Also, any chance you could list up all the stuff you put in like the specific parts like the boiler and electrics etc?

Nice mate. Gave me some ideas haha. That heater control above the sink. What does that control?? Also where is your gas bottle??
karltate1 Controls the webaso diesel heater. And gas bottle is under the sink in a sealed gas cupboard with a drop out Incase of leaks.

What are the swivel seats out of? I've just bought a Renault Master and want the same set up as you at the front but not sure what swivel seats I can swap them for. What water heater have you got? Did you need a water pump to get enough pressure out of your water tank?

Lee Carter the seats were out of another one of the same van and recovered. Got them off eBay. Tye water heater is a small combi shower from eBay again. You will need to get a glue for it or leave the door open when using. And ye there is a water pump and a pressure vessel to control water pressure

eBay. There a quite common fitting.
What have you done insurance wise? Just van insurance or camper ?
