    Hey! Remain only 3 lamps. Lower lamps to 20 cm to plants surface. Get only 4 littres tank for hydroponic solution for 2 plants. You wlll get the same nice result! I do grow melons that way. I use NPK 16-16-16 plus microelements complex in the Western Siberia a year around to grow melons and watermelons indoor.

    What is that foil that you have on top of your totes? Is it some sort of insulation foil?? Does it also help to deflect the heat to keep the nutrient water cool? I’m also very curious about your nutrient recipes, did I read that you use cal/mag and then the bloom and that’s all?? Do you do a similar recipe for tomatoes and peppers? I had read for a vegetative growth in a 5 gallon bucket that it should be
    General Hydroponics
    Cal/mag 20ml
    Micro 39.6ml
    Gro 19.8ml
    Bloom 59.4ml
    That they should be added in that order and that you can also add an additionnal 20ml Koolbloom, those amount of nutrients seem very high compared to the nutrients that you are using?? Can you please advise what you would recommend for tomatoes? They did seem to suffer when they were initially transferred into this tote a little bit of droopy leaves and then some brown spots and a few little rust spots but since cutting those leaves the plants seem to be thriving and are definitely using up the water in the tote, I think the next time I add to it I’ll just add the cal/mag, bloom and koolbloom 20ml of each and see how things progress. One thing I don’t want is all kinds of green and no tomatoes!! Can you advise of anything else I should be adding or not? I would so appreciate your advice.
    Thanks in advance🙏🏻🥰🇨🇦

    Hey Khang, very cool video. I’m curious if you never check ph because you already know your tap water and then can calculate the ph easily because of that so you know the correct amount of nutrient solution, or if you just simply don’t need to or care about ph in this experiment?

    • @Emeraldwitch30
      @Emeraldwitch30 3 года назад

      I'm curious too. Im just learning and bought the ph up/down test kit and silly me once input my nutrients in it ended up making my water 6.5. So I spent all the money to not really need up and down. Just the testing kit.
      But I'm slowly learning that I might need to check more than just the first day.

Some people grow their favourite fresh water fish that they love to look at and other people grow edible fish for the table. If you like so many water features a flood and drain setup could help with the water noises 👌instead of nutrients you literally just feed the fish and make sure the water is good.
