    0:58 why do almost all RUclipsrs I’ve seen make this hand yet I don’t see anybody making it in real life except maybe where it’s appropriate, but RUclipsrs just seem to do it all the time, like the way some of them make what they’re saying almost into a song like they’ve forgotten how to speak 🤷🏻‍♀️
    Great video though 😊👍🏽

    I learned from a great homemaker to use the whey from yogurt or other ferment in your mayo to make it ferment and last a lot longer. If you try that, I would love to know what you think of it.

      How do you get the whey from yoghurt? Great idea?

    • @knitsewfancy
      @knitsewfancy Месяц назад

      @@autumn5852 I pour the yogurt into a cloth or a very fine strainer and let the whey drip into a bowl. I make my own yogurt and when I want it to be like Greek yogurt, I drain off more whey so it is thicker. I save the whey for baking and other stuff. :)

    I have been making mayo at home for years. I use a duck egg bcs I can't have chicken eggs. The flavor is sooooo much better than store bought.

    I don’t buy the kind of cheap store brand mayonnaise you must have been reading the ingredients from, I’ll have to take your word on what they were as the camera didn’t focus on the jar long enough to figure out the brand. I buy Hellmann’s Organic which doesn’t list that many ingredients, but it’s also pretty expensive. I’m not sure about the saturated fat in avocado oil (it does have the good polyunsaturated and monounsaturated fats too) because that’s not good for me. Soybean oil isn’t bad in small amounts (5-7 teaspoons per day), it’s only bad in excessive amounts.
    I didn’t know how easy it was to make it!
    Doesn’t the dijon mustard have water and salt already in it? Other than your liking salty food, could I get away with no additional salt?
    I like room temperature mayo, just not warm.
    I won’t be making this anytime soon, I don’t use mayo all that often and end up throwing it away because it goes bad by the time I do want to use it (opened containers).
    So a little bit of Target and a little from Walmart. Have you noticed that Target’s prices are just a little higher than Walmart, until you use the circle discount when Target prices match or beats Walmart? Not everything, but most name brand food.

      Seed oils are VERY unhealthy in any amount.

    • @autumn5852
      @autumn5852 Месяц назад

      Hellman’s organic is as bad as the rest. You could make your own and apparently you can out whey from yoghurt in it and it makes it last for ages, so you won’t have to throw any away.
