Easy Snowdonia Walk - Beddgelert Circular

As walks go in Snowdonia. Should YOU go to Beddgelert?? The short answer is Yes!!!
Beddgelert is quite popular. Parking is at a premium though so arrive early. There is a car park.
There is a heritage train line station in Beddgelert, so if steam trains float your boat. You have a good chance of catching one here.
Beddgelert is on the banks of a lovely river, the Aber Glaslyn. Bit low at this time of year, but later on in the year, very loud and fast flowing. Quite the sight. But to be fair, in a different manner, it's quite the sight at this time of the year too.

This walk takes you along the river and up into the Snowdonia hills for some rather exceptional views. Then down to a stunning lake. Llyn Dinas. All in all a nice 6 mile (ish) walk - Route can be found below:

Did that walk last year river was in full flood and it was raining 🌧 hanging off those grab rails in the rock walls was challenging but fun my mother in law loved the area and even named the family’s Great Dane dog Beddgelert

Yeah. I love this walk. Especially when the river is in full flow. The noise off it... Sure makes the grab rail bit a little more errm fun!!!
