  • A 10 mile coastal path hike from West Kirby to Wallasey.
Starting the walk from West Kirby train station up the hill onto Grange Hill
and the Hoylake and West Kirby War Memorial with views over the River Dee out to Wales
Then off over the road to the Mariners Beacon. From there, downhill to West Kirby Marine Lake
a great place for all your water sport activities.
A quick walk around the lake and the hike continues down alongside the Royal Liverpool Golf Course
where The Open has been held on several occasions.
Up around Red Rocks, a sandstone outcrop with views out Hilbre Island and the Irish Sea.
Then on down to Hoylake where the path switches from sand/beach to pavement & promenades.
At the end of the first section of the walk is the brand new Lifeboat Station.
Continue on down the coastal path and you have regular unspoiled views of the sea or the beach
with views for miles. The path will take you along Meols, Moreton, Leasowe and into Wallasey.
Filmed on GoPro Hero 11 Black
