I came across this song in late September of 2021. I had not heard it since back in the 70’s. It stuck in my head, I listened to it several times over the next 3 weeks and had told my son about it and how it reminded me of him-kind of lost and couldn’t find himself. He overdosed and died on 10-24-2021. Somehow its haunting melody prepared me for his death. It was one of the songs played at his funeral.
Tommy Shaw, James Young, and Lawrence Gowan are all freaks of nature. And I mean that in the most complimentary way. They have been in the business for 50 years, and still sing and play in the original key!! Still sound AMAZING! Rock on gentlemen!
