My tip is to focus on your social stats as much as you can. I did this for P3P, P4 Golden, and Regular Persona 5. Doing this however will have few social links incomplete but if you max out all social stats in your first playthrough then you will at least not have to worry about them in NG+. Another Tip is to max out your party social links first, they're abilities really do help out in battle. Last tip from me is to try to finish Marie's social link before December.

You will be reward with a really nice surprise. Not gonna tell you what per say, but you'll be delight you came across this. Last tip, purchase a capsule toy at the item shop on Rainy days. you can get god hand skill on izanagi by farming magician arcana card on kanji dungeon. And on skill change forecast, god hand can mutate into absorb elemental. After you got it you can reiterate until you have all 5 absorb skills.
If you can afford to rebuy ingredients for Kaiwan from the compendium a few times, you can turn Tetrakarn into any other skill of the same tier, use that Kaiwan to fuse a new version of one of the ingredients, then rinse and repeat until all the inherited skills are ones morphed from Tetrakarn, which...I *think* allows for the highest possible chance that one of them will mutate into something you want.
Ah, good to know! I stopped after getting Victory Cry. So then, all Rank 7 skills like Mediarahan, Angelic Grace, Enduring Soul, etc. should be possible with that strat.
That sounds expensive, though! :O Personally, Brave Blade, Agneyastra, and Arms Master sound like the most appealing morphs, in case my budget is limited at the time.
When you unlock Rise. Look up a guide to max her out as fast as possible. Her level 10 ability gives you a chance to survive a fatal attack for all party members.
Imma be honest I’ve never played any persona so when I picked up p4 golden and started it on hard I thought I was finna have a mental breakdown no cap🤣, but man the difficulty in p4 is insane
Well, i've used a bit more efficent way of the kaiwan tactics. Not my own idea but i think i should share it: Ukobach + Ghoul = Kaiwan. One of the skills will change. That skill should be Tetrakarn. Reload if it’s not. Save your game once you get it. Kaiwan + Oberon = Matador. Make sure that the changed skill is inherited. Save again. Matador + Ghoul = Mokoi. Again, one of the skills will change. What you want is for whatever skill Tetrakarn changed to change to something else. Reload until you get it. It’s possible for it to change back to Tetrakarn. Reload if that happens. Save again. Mokoi + Pixie = Oberon. Make sure that the changed skill is inherited. Save again. Kaiwan + Oberon = Matador. You should now have two Tetrakarns. Save. Matador + Ukobach = Kaiwan. Keep reloading until you get Victory Cry. During the first step, it must be tetrakarn change into ANYTHING else. As you pass down these level 7 skills, during the matador x ukobach fusion, from 6 spells, 3 can change into Victory cry. Also, if you roll for example repel phy or brave brave blade or agneyastra, just fuse into another one, save it, and resummon the materials. With that, only with 2 hours of save/reload, i got victory cry, agneyastra, repel phy, brave blade ( the last 3 was rolled more than 3 times each :'D) And with the fusion calculator, i could inherit both brave blade , repel phy and victory cry to a brand new izanagi, which carried me until endgame. I had no patience for repel wind on him, so i just farmed Naoto's dungeon 6th level. until i got Horus for drain wind card. At the dungeon, At the beginning of Floor 6, the pattern is ALWAYS the same, L turn to the left, and a crossing with 3 shadows. switch between floors until one of these 3 is a Golden Hand group. With Naoto and Megidola on MC, it was easy farm.

I had a PS2 never played Persona 3, admittedly wasn't the biggest JRPG fan outside of Final Fantasy. Saw P4G released on steam, took a look at some videos and gave it a try and...literally it's the only game I've been playing ever since.
Thank god this video exists! I only ever played the original p4 when it came out and I remember there was a lot of missable things. With golden I can bet there will be more of that.
damn, theres A LOT ! im too busy, theres no way i can use all this complicated tips ! i play the original persona 4 back in high school days and finished it casually and damn its one of the best jrpg of all time, i dont even know about kanji and naoto social links as well as the others like the grandma, the tutor, and so much more. since i play without guide. i just do what i can do best, max the automatic party social links then the rest like the fox for cheap healing price and the rest just for the exp bonus from fusion, get the best persona i could get, 1 for offense, 1 for support. i have persona 5 using rcpx 3 even then i have no time to play ! lol.
*Lmao it's been so many years since I played p4 on ps2 and g on vita. Wished I could play it again. Really love playing this on nightmare or whatever the hardest difficulty was cause on any other difficulty this is kinda just a hollow feels trip.* *OH AND BEST VILLAIN IS HERE TOO WHICH CENSORED*
I played Persona 4 two years ago, this was actually the first time that I entirely finished a game.. I didn’t know that all the social links were that calculated especially the non-automatic! I just assumed that the characters in question didn’t have SLs. I’m going to replay it so thank you!
If you don't have any social links to hang out with on rainy days, go back to the last dungeon you completed and grind through all the floors so you can be ready for the bosses bosses and have a less difficult time with them. They're still going to be tough but you'll have a better time the closer you are to their level. (And also try to beat the optional bosses while you're at it).
Black Frost is pretty much necessary on hard mode when you face Mitsuo Kubo. Another tip, don't keep one save that you constantly overwrite. Keep your saves on rotation (save every day on a different save).
Nice video! You mention some midgame Personas and grinding strats, but a lot of the struggle is in the earlygame, so I think it would be great to go over some good early Personas when the game is most "difficult." i.e. Obariyon, Senri, etc. A shuffle time tips and tricks guide would also probably help new players.
Yea, good point, including more early game Personas would have been a good idea, like Senri for nulling fire in Yukiko's fight. Personas are generally so interchangeable, I just stuck to the 3 I recalled using the most on my first playthrough
God's hand on Chie is really useful, I think. It helped me beat Kunino-sagiri, dealing about 300+ damage. Kin Ki with high counter was great to have to for that battle too. Naoto's magic skills are excellent for the heaven dungeon. I highly recommend maxing out Rise's s. link because she helps replenish hp and sp. You can obtain items for quests after beating the main boss of each dungeon, if I'm not mistaken. According to IGN, certain enemies cannot drop more than one quest item at a time so you have to try getting the items on separate days, if that makes sense. There's also that 21 chests thing that will give you the choice of fighting the reaper. I haven't done it yet. Too creeped out >.< I'm a baby lol. As another person commented, farming is worth it. Definitely farm the tomatoes. I also found farming eggplants helpful.
If you really want to break the game, go to settings then Game difficulty. There's an option for both EXP and money where you can choose to get more (or less) after every battle. Now, if you see those hand shadows fight them. You don't need to grind too much. You only have to go to TV world once and go to two dungeons per visit if you're going to fight optional bosses. By the time you reach the third to the last dungeon (assuming you're going for the best ending) MC is already on Lvl 99. Your squad will be around 80 to 90 assuming you switch them around from time to time. The trick here is to get lots of money if you're planning a second playthrough since your compendium will carry over in New Game+. Fuse Personas as much Personas and level them up to get their best skills then by your 2nd playthrough you'll be wrecking everything in your path. Have a good day.
I've just realized that I play P4G wrongly in my first gameplay lmao. P4G is my first persona series and it's fucking good. But sadly I can't beat Margaret yet
In the system menu, the second option allows you to tweak the dificulty to your liking. You can set Damage, XP, and money multipliers as you wish, at any time.
Make it simple: -Raise social link (just raise the important max social persona first) -Raise ur stat if u want to become Chad Narukami in NG+ -Farm like crazy (For XP,item, money, equip and dummy persona for fusion) -Absolutely use Yukiko, Yosuke and Teddy or Naoto in ur team -Just use regular persona until mid game and use max social link Persona in mid game/late game Just like that Enjoy ur game..!
For s-links, I actually held off until NG+, after I maxed social stats to almost bypass restrictions. My mistakes -held off in joining clubs (behind on arcana due to so much rain on req days) -not equally spending time with characters (weaker fusions just because of arcana) -didnt grind levels (bro I never made it to lvl 65)
Is there a way to view the locations and availability of social links on each perticular day on a map like in Persona 5's map where the confidants are marked with blue Tarot cards?
I mean Persona 4 Golden has been out for like 8 years. and the original persona 4 has been out for like 11 years. so yeah it's easy to make tips. since there's nothing new to the PC port other than the higher framerate and higher resolution.
Just wanted to know if anyone has this problem but sometimes I would bring a matching persona for social links but I would get a lower amount of points like if I didn’t have it at all. I can’t give a specific example but many times I would get +2 instead of +3 with matching persona
Lmao I love this video, First off thanks for all the tips! Definitely will be using some for my play through, second I love the meme in the end, wish there were more like that. And thirdly how can I up my courage near the start of the game? I kinda just usually go to sleep early but I want to up all my stats so I can do more of the secret dialogs lol
Feel like downgrade when u already play P5 to P5R then now play P4G, but its kinda feel nostalgic play this persona which is no metaverse but pure waiting 12am to get into mayonaka TV😁😁

My first ever encounter & death in Persona 4 was by the Reaper, I thought “ehh it can’t be that bad” and then I got pwned. So how do you fight the reaper ಠ_ಠ
I have a question. When should I rescue someone? Is it better to leave it until the consecutive rainy days (before they die) or as soon as possible? I have done Yukiko using the former option to give myself time to do social links. Is this the right way to do it? Thanks
I thiiink it's a bit better to go on Rainy/Cloudy days, because you generally have less Social Link stuff available on those days. But, completing them as soon as possible is likely fine as well
Im new to persona...well i played p3 but pc version is more different ofc . In p3 it was easy to manage time early game but here im having a bit of trouble xD , any tips for a newbie ?
Muramasa It can be overwhelming at times when there is so much you can do,I would suggest maximizing your social links first, social stats and then grinding levels. It’s also good to search up the deadline of each dungeon if you’re anxious of when the fog will hit, however if you don’t want spoilers, your party members will tell you about “hey, we should rescue X person”, a rule of thumb is that fog always come after two consecutive rainy days, might change for each month though. However, don’t stress too much on terms of time management, just focus on your teammates and social stats for now, when you replay in New Game+ it will be a breeze
I started this game when it was finally released to pc. Jack johnson ho ho ho my boi you are in for A treat ( I feel 4 is the best in the series but many people say other wise)
Also chie best girl plz don’t kill me
@@jackjohnson8305 It blows Persona 5 out of the water in terms of plot and characters
@@carnagewolf1 I wouldn't say plot necessarily but the characters for sure but overall all the Persona games are great in their own way IMO
This'll be my 12th playthrough of P4G!
Excellent editing, pacing, information and presentation.
Thanks for sharing 👏
last time playing P4 is on my ps2 almost 10 years ago, i did not manage to finish it because my ps is broken not long after, that's why i hyped when they release it on pc (hope with this they will also release P5R in the future)
you can get god hand skill on izanagi by farming magician arcana card on kanji dungeon. And on skill change forecast, god hand can mutate into absorb elemental. After you got it you can reiterate until you have all 5 absorb skills.
I didn't know you cold gt Victory Cy so early! Thanks for the tips.
Yeah, thats fucking broken alright. Guess that didn't happen in the Vanilla version I played.
Some handy tips here, started P4G first ever play through a few days ago so def gonna utilise these. Thanks for the vid.
Where are you now? I have a tip for a kind of story sensitive
Personally, Brave Blade, Agneyastra, and Arms Master sound like the most appealing morphs, in case my budget is limited at the time.
Is there a list where I can see which skills are which tier?
@@zeki6116 aqiu384.github.io/megaten-fusion-tool/p4g/skills Sort by Rank. Red skills are exclusive ones that can't be learned by other Personas.
@@bainz Legendary. Thanks chief.
Thank you! This is really helpful! Today I'm gonna get this game and I am so excited!
You are cool! Keep it up!
for me sarasvati cracked the whole game open for me. also love the selectable skill build for fussions
Well, i've used a bit more efficent way of the kaiwan tactics. Not my own idea but i think i should share it:
Ukobach + Ghoul = Kaiwan.
YEAH THE TRUTH CAN NEVER BE WRITTEN DOWNI LIKE YOU CAN SEE IT ON YOUR TV SCREEN
Those who start to game first time
*1.* Don't use cheat except/trainer for levels 0 to Lv.99 except for money
*2.* Always register persona, don't forget to register (it will get less advantage on 2nd walkthrough)
*3.* If you don't know about how's battle system work ,Play on safety mode /Easy mode to bit practice
*4.* Use internet guide to increase your social link
*5.* choice Musical class instead of drama classes , because she's Worst social links like this Girl 1:34
*6.* Never skip enemy to reach to top floor , you must encounter every enemy to increase your level
*7.* Increase your Party social link first , Because it can give good advantage on battle
*8.* Uninstall/Don't open the RUclips , if it's your first time and know nothing about Persona 4 Golden game
*9.* Always think next boss is gonna be last boss , because it's gives increase your excitement
*10.* Watch Persona 4 Animation dub (then Golden Sub after you finished the game ) and
*Enjoy the wonderful journey with new friends In this game if you have good day*
Step 10 isn't necessary if you've already done it.
of course i've done step 10 already, after beating Persona 4 on PS2.
@@WednesdayMan I mean, after Set 10 I go into anime like Death Note
I had a PS2 never played Persona 3, admittedly wasn't the biggest JRPG fan outside of Final Fantasy. Saw P4G released on steam, took a look at some videos and gave it a try and...literally it's the only game I've been playing ever since.
thank you so much , now I can easily playing this game
Thank god this video exists! I only ever played the original p4 when it came out and I remember there was a lot of missable things. With golden I can bet there will be more of that.
Thank you, the amount of times ive died in the early game is insane because I got too confident and started very hard mode.
Ah, the nostalgia even after I played tons of run, now where is my console?
damn, theres A LOT ! im too busy, theres no way i can use all this complicated tips ! i play the original persona 4 back in high school days and finished it casually and damn its one of the best jrpg of all time, i dont even know about kanji and naoto social links as well as the others like the grandma, the tutor, and so much more. since i play without guide. i just do what i can do best, max the automatic party social links then the rest like the fox for cheap healing price and the rest just for the exp bonus from fusion, get the best persona i could get, 1 for offense, 1 for support. i have persona 5 using rcpx 3 even then i have no time to play !
Wow a RUclips video with actually good advice. Thanks!
This guide far exceeded a simple google search. Awesome and helpful!
Glad you found it helpful!
My best tip for newcomers is taking your time. There's no need to rush and be prepared to feel empty after finishing the game.
Great new guide for newcomers, thank you!
Black Frost is pretty much necessary on hard mode when you face Mitsuo Kubo. Another tip, don't keep one save that you constantly overwrite. Keep your saves on rotation (save every day on a different save).
LMFAOO THE VIDEO AT THE END
My aim for my P4G playthrough will be to get Yoshitsune and complete all the social links which I failed to do in my P5 playthrough by 1 rank up.
Your video is great, but i like the comment section
I've just realized that I play P4G wrongly in my first gameplay lmao. P4G is my first persona series and it's fucking good. But sadly I can't beat Margaret yet
In the system menu, the second option allows you to tweak the dificulty to your liking. You can set Damage, XP, and money multipliers as you wish, at any time.
My God... My God... My God!
Make it simple:
-Raise social link (just raise the important max social persona first)
-Raise ur stat if u want to become Chad Narukami in NG+
-Farm like crazy (For XP,item, money, equip and dummy persona for fusion)
-Absolutely use Yukiko, Yosuke and Teddy or Naoto in ur team
-Just use regular persona until mid game and use max social link Persona in mid game/late game
Just like that
Enjoy ur game..!
Why does the text for the guide look like something from PS2 with an old tv lol
I like it
He tried
5 tips
-Date Marie
-Date Rise and Naoto
-Yukiko permanent party member
- Great Vegetables
-Maaaaaaaaan, a watermelon
For s-links, I actually held off until NG+, after I maxed social stats to almost bypass restrictions.
My mistakes
-held off in joining clubs (behind on arcana due to so much rain on req days)
-not equally spending time with characters (weaker fusions just because of arcana)
-didnt grind levels (bro I never made it to lvl 65)
Is there a way to view the locations and availability of social links on each perticular day on a map like in Persona 5's map where the confidants are marked with blue Tarot cards?
If you dont get victory cry, save and reload as much as you need to
Growth 3 is your best friend.
Teddie's one of the most useful party members if you run out of a certain item
Roll a dice.... And let kamui miracle do the work lol
I've only played 5 so I'm looking forward to some tips
"talk to him"
Well, because she is dressed like that. No wonder people are misunderstanding.
Do you mean at 1:08? The "talk to him" is referring to the man in black, not Naoto.
thank you
Woah thats was fast
I mean Persona 4 Golden has been out for like 8 years.
and the original persona 4 has been out for like 11 years.
so yeah it's easy to make tips. since there's nothing new to the PC port other than the higher framerate and higher resolution.
Ah ....its remind me when i was playing this game, that time i still in the middle school...and got very dizzy playing this game
My tips is. Just focus on you s.link because... Idc will.know it later because there's so many good effect
The golden hands keep running away
Tip 1: Fuse Yoshitsune.
Nice tips
Adachi didn't have normal schedule like others social link and some of them level up at night so be careful
Thank you :) beat 3 and 5 but never 4. Helpful
No prob, thanks for watching!
Thanks fam
Thanks broski
Just wanted to know if anyone has this problem but sometimes I would bring a matching persona for social links but I would get a lower amount of points like if I didn’t have it at all. I can’t give a specific example but many times I would get +2 instead of +3 with matching persona
So many social links, no thank you I’m fine with the few I have.
at first its like yeah good tips now its like get this ridiculously op personas
Lmao I love this video,
First off thanks for all the tips! Definitely will be using some for my play through, second I love the meme in the end, wish there were more like that. And thirdly how can I up my courage near the start of the game? I kinda just usually go to sleep early but I want to up all my stats so I can do more of the secret dialogs lol
Can you reload save state in the pc version to facilitate for victory cry or is it kinda “hard set” already on the day?
It's not fixed don't worry
Yup abuse that save and RNG xD
Thanks for informing abt naoto, that dude is pain in the ass
Pancakes in a P4 video? That's illegal
goro called he wants his pancakes back
Feel like downgrade when u already play P5 to P5R then now play P4G, but its kinda feel nostalgic play this persona which is no metaverse but pure waiting 12am to get into mayonaka TV😁😁
U got it wrong... Entering tv doesn't required midnight. But watching midnight tv required midnight when it's raining.
p3 literally have to wait until midnight to do their thing lol
In persona 5 you don't wait til midnight
@@timelymirror7826 considering how Mona forcing you to sleep.. I can relate. Luckily they nerf Mona dialogue in Royal :v
Thanks for the tip even I know I’m a persona 4 fan lol
If possible make a video a persona build video for starting out a fresh new game file
Why didnt i watch this before i played the game
*SPOILERS BELOW*
i got the ending where nanako lives but we never uncover adachi as the killer.
I am so thankful for this, but my good friend...Anxiety here want's to know if the Non Auto Social links are in order. It's questioning this game and the possibilities of missing something during this 100 hour plus game. Are some things just naturally miss able or can you see every event for example. Thank you :)
It seems that we get less money and stuff is more expensive in hard mode
is there a rewards or new unlockables on maxing all social links? in persona 3 you can unlock Orpheus Telos.I heard you only need to finish the true ending on first playthrough and have some certain persona on the second playthrough to unlock Izanagi-no-Okami
Not for maxing out S. Links, but for Izanagi-nO you need to have completed the game once and gotten the True Ending
@Gabriel Pereira how about maxing ALL SL you don't get any rewards?
can you change your hairstyle? i've been seeing it everywhere where you should go to the velvet room and ask igor about his haircut but i can't find any
480p we meet again
Is this spoiler free? Sorry if you mentioned it on the video but I don't want to watch anything before knowing if it has spoilers
Yes, it's spoiler free
I love ho the animators of the intro have no clue how to draw people dancing. 🤣
Pretty sure it's just the style to look that way lol
Wtf. I’m in June and almost maxed out my team mates confidants but I haven’t started like 5 of them dammit
Also try summoning reaper
My first ever encounter & death in Persona 4 was by the Reaper, I thought “ehh it can’t be that bad”
and then I got pwned.
So how do you fight the reaper ಠ_ಠ
Nathan Avenir step one: max emperor
step two: fuse odin and give him wind boost
step three: d e a t h
I have a question. When should I rescue someone? Is it better to leave it until the consecutive rainy days (before they die) or as soon as possible? I have done Yukiko using the former option to give myself time to do social links. Is this the right way to do it? Thanks
I thiiink it's a bit better to go on Rainy/Cloudy days, because you generally have less Social Link stuff available on those days. But, completing them as soon as possible is likely fine as well
is it bad that i didn't grind my levels with yukiko and chie ? they're still like lvl 36 and others are like 48
Is it bad that i only rank up my social link to just rank 7 because i was wasting so many times doing uselesss stuff. And im already at namatame boss.
How do I get megadola? Like.you do for dark frost?
I know this is old but Naoto is op
I started this game when it was finally released to pc. Unfortunately
*Spoilers*
I saw a picture of Adachi's psychotic face, you know the one I'm talking about and well that kind of spoiled the ending for me it was pretty blatantly clear for me that Adachi was the killer from the beginning. But oh well it was a fun ride.
So apparently I missed something on my first playthrough of p4g when I played it months ago. I got the true ending but not the golden ending cause I didn't like Marie and didn't bother to max her out.
So besides talking to Marie is there anything else I need to do to get the golden ending, and unlock the extra dungeon?
I believe Marie's S. Link is the only requirement for the Golden Ending/extra dungeon

Are you sure 6/24 is the earliest for the Kaiwan strat? I could do it as soon as 5/4 for my runthru
There are Skill Change days prior to 6/24, it's just that you'll likely not be level 24 (Kaiwan's level) before June without quite a bit of grinding.
