The Defender looks seriously sick Daniel. You need to get hold of Landrover and do one of their experience days so you can see what the Defender is really capable of, would make a great film!
Daniel, just a quick heads up from someone who works in IT. If you get audited by microsoft, and they see you using home and student versions of office the fines can be massive
Surely the activation key is all you need to validate your install, irrespective of use? It seems quite wasteful to pay double the amount for a commercial license when it’s just 1 user who needs the software.
@@rushilkisoon Sure you can technically activate office with any license, but the EULA for the home and student version says it can't be used for business use. You nailed it by getting the kit ready. I've contracted for so many companies and I realised that how ready they were for me on day one had a direct correlation to how good the contract would go! Good work sir. I used to be an estimator and I cocked up a few pricings, too!
You seemed pretty down after you heard the news about your shoulders. Dont know what to say but keep healthy and you're determination will pull you through. If you haven't got another Noel you need him to train one up.
IP problem: DHCP might be assigning addresses that you've used statically already. Check the scope/pool. Advanced IP scanner is a useful tool to see what addresses are being used on your subnet.
With the security gate you want to get, why not get an ANPR one that reads number plates to open automatically so someone has not got to be in the box to open it in the day, instead of having one that uses a controller that the driver has to press

What did you throw away at 37:04 Daniel? Correct! The little string that suppost to be IN the pipe so you can pull cables through. If you had not have done that, Terry would have a string to put the blue cable through to get any other cable through. Those pipes come WITH that string just for that. But hé, you are in construction. I am in electricity, working a lot of the times with those pipes.(I do hope, Terry did another string through AFTER the last cable needed. There will always be another cable to pull through, trust me)
Its great that you visited my local area near Chesterfield Daniel, I live just off jct 30 of M1, Brids are a serious company up here and is rather interesting you take the time to meet other companies and build relationships / share ideas etc. 👌
Have done several collections out of O'Donovans and Quick Skips (Out of West Drayton) with a 44 tonne Walking Floor Trailer. Have just come across your channel this weekend and binge watched a lot of your episodes.....I am now a BIG Fan...Your Videos are really excellent ...so may I congratulate and I look forward to seeing your Business grow from strength to strength ...... and some advice.....pay attention to your MUM!!!!!! Good Work Daniel 👍👍👍👍👍👌👌👌👌👌
Drainage is mega important one of the most common things I’m seeing with new builds is poor drainage on the lawns leaving the home owner with a muddy bog after a matter of weeks
hi. i can sympathize with you on that . i was coming home from work one morning and slipped in the train station and fractured my pelvis so i can't work for 6 months . i now have to learn how to walk again.
i would have went with the new insurance company out of spite if nothing else, as the current one would still quite happily charge you the old price if the hadn't been challenged. they should be doing it for as little as possible every year to get your business....not just when they are caught out (undercut)
Be aware of any pains in your stomach when on anti inflammatory tablets. As I ended up with stomach ulcers and they burst, just because I hadn't been prescribed a tablet to protect my stomach lining. Hope this helps Daniel keep up the great work and brilliant videos.
Daniel, brilliant content as usual, keep up the good work. However, please be careful with the shoulder op. Had mine done, 1st one 10 years ago second one 7.5 years ago. Both hurt like hell for 2 years almost to the day, then the pain went: sleep at last !! But ….. then, I tried carrying on as I had done before. Me similar in size and strength to you. Big mistake BIG mistake, it stops the pain but in my opinion doesn’t really repair to original ‘spec’ So be warned, I can no longer lift anything much above 2 kilos without serious pain and problems.
Hey Daniel I’m 14 years old and looking to get into building and would love to one day own a company like you watched all the weekly and videos keep it going.❤️

Sounds like the switch in your new office could potentially be on DHCP - check it's static and part of the same subnet in your router's UI. You may have to set up IP address reservation so the other DHCP clients (i.e. cameras) don't take get assigned those static IP's even if you have already assigned them to other devices. Ensure your VLAN's are set correctly too and just assign everything a static IP so no further conflicts arise.
