The single most best thing I've ever been to. So valuable. I've since come home and had more ideas and inspiration than I even know what to do with them lol I went to Music Tech college and studied for 2 years full time yet got more out of that 3 day weekend than 2 years of full time education combined. Incredible. My best advice I could give to anyone here now who may be stuck in a Loop is that you should try and get yourself to one of these if you can. That way you'll surely get out of it. Unbelievable!
Caught the first video of your new venture yesterday and it brought me here. Good luck with it and also in becoming a father. You're in for some fun times.
YES!! I'm so happy he choose 10cc and specifically pointed out the choral texture they created. Also, shout out to King Britt in the crowd; 2 of my favorite sound designers in the same room!
❤ I am full of admiration for Mr. Henke's command of English, so I would not dream of questioning his oversight as a linguistc misunderstanding, morover, I think it has come about because the landscape he inhabits is computer driven with music as his export. As such, he is a proper adult. Although the title is about success and failure, he opens with defining 'players' but he skips over the other definition and for me, more importantly the childish view of play / spielen, which is the direction from which I make musical compositions. After he describes the struggle in making his lazer show, which one might assume was just labour, his humour tells us what he won't say is that it is also fun twiddling knobs and watching the feedback loop progress or regress. I also love the philosophy of less is more.
A true genius takes complicated problems, and turns them into simple solutions. At least that's how I see it. Ableton was and is one of those simple solutions.
kind of weird the reference, but the reality is now with a modern keyboard you can get a long string choir sound easy. lots of slower ambient ATB songs use long string sounds I really enjoy

エイブルトン大学の素晴らしい講義、後半、感動して少し拍手が起こるシーンがすごく好き。かすかな希望の匂いが会場を包み込みます。

Robert seems to have stage fright. He looks nervous. But he killed it in this one, he got his point across very well.
