As a many generation member of the church, countless times have I read and reread the scriptures, really beginning in seminary (I’m now 62), and how many classroom discussions have I heard during gospel doctrine, RS and Sunday school, etc. I’m telling you that you both illustrate the scriptures in ways I’ve not before experienced, to the degree that meanings and conclusions drawn from your insights have made such a difference in appreciating not only the words and meanings of the writings, but of the authors as well! I greatly appreciate your deep thinking, your sincerity and intelligence that you both bring to your programs. My testimony has grown even more resolute, and how can I express gratitude for that!? ❣️

I can promise you if you keep watching these lessons of the Book of Mormon take companion to the Bible he will be a part of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Especially if you take the time to read the book of Mormon then as you read then ask God In The Name of Jesus Christ if these things are true, then you will receive the answer like we did that it is true! So many people read the scriptures or listen to people that speak Jesus Christ but they will not ask if it is true so that the Holy Ghost may do his job to witness to you that it is true ! And I can promise you if you do not ask you will be left in the dark with the precepts of man not God! You know I generally don't bother talking to people that criticize The Book of Mormon or the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, for whatever reason I responded to you. We have all been told if we do not boil the water in the creek before we drink it it could make us sick or kill us right it's the same with the scriptures. So how do we know if the water is drinkable? I would think you would smell and taste it first. Read the book then ask God these things are true with real intent, the Lord has promised ask and it will be refilled! Have the faith. I'm sure you have read James chapter 1, the promise is there. Thank you for your input.
The Book of Mormon gives a clearer vision of the pride cycle and how it leads to sin and despair. I am so thankful that I found the Restored Church of Jesus Christ. Charity. and Love for One Another as Jesus Christ taught us, leads to happiness and eternal life. Thank you

Thank you for all you have taught me this year, things I would have missed without your intuition and knowledge which you so readily share with all of us. How blessed we are as members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to have Prophets and Apostles and teachers to help us learn the way we should go and follow Christ and learn of His life and attributes and try to emulate them as best we can. I remember having to pray earnestly and then some to receive personal revelation when reading the BOM. The Lord knew how much of a challenge it would be for me to put in that kind of effort in 2020 so he gave me you. All I had to do was to watch you two teach with power and so much passion and personal revelations came with very little effort on my part. Thank you for helping me get through 2020!

My heart rejoice in gratitude knowing that during mine conversion I was invite to ask God WHY of mine weakness, ran into with desperation and FAITH to Ether 12:27 . I knew that along this journey will have brothers and teacher such Tayler and Taylor showing me and encouraging me to HOPE for the forgiveness , charity leading me always to repentance. I appreciate the weekly instruction and faithful commentary on our study of the Book of Mormon. It has made a difference in how I approach my study time and has enabled me, through the Spirit, to increase my faith and knowledge. I especially valued the closing comments by Taylor about the deadly political divisions at the end of the Jaredite history. His plea for us to review our own (current) personal and political divisions and return to emphasizing love, empathy and curiosity about "the others" in our lives, if followed, would go a long way to decreasing the fear and contention that is so prevalent. Thank you both for sharing your knowledge and testimony.

Thank you for the beautiful story about the Jefferson Monument. Yes, sometimes we'd better stop and ask ourselves some whys and try to understand the others, before demonizing them.
How I completely understand the weakness of comparing ourselves (talents, righteousness, faith) to others! And particularly when you are longing to be a righteous, virtuous, and holy daughter or son of God. It's so hard to stop the comparisons, but looking to the Lord can definitely help, and it has helped me. Not saying that weakness is completely gone, but thanks to the Lord, those things don't bother me like they once did, and I'm a happier person because it! And again quoting our son: "Glory to God for it!" Great lesson! Thank you!
Your comment at the 49 minute mark makes me think about the two main political parties in the US. How thought provoking! My peace has increased by unaffiliating. It's much easier (but lonely) to SEE truth when others have admitted to setting aside their consciences to defend wrongdoing (on both sides). I keep reciting the Articles of Faith. I keep studying the scriptures. I keep praying. I keep building my faith in God. I keep trying to love all men, even as I respectfully disagree. 🙏❤️🙏
Cont'd... That was indeed a trial of my faith except at the time l didn't see it that way, l simply wanted to do right by my Lord. In return he showed me the might of his power. What occurred in that court room is the equivalent of the Bro of Jared's 'finger of the Lord.' Whenever my faith threatens to falter, l recall my tithing miracle and my faith is again grounded firmly in the Lord Jesus Christ and l feel empowered and feel stronger.
Your act of faith was so difficult because you could have lost your home. How frightening.But you chose to put your faith in God and He performed a miracle for YOU! Can you imagine how much He loves you?!!

In addition to comparison to others, I wonder if part of Moroni's weakness was being concerned about what others think of him (Gentiles mocking). Perhaps, through God's sufficient grace, Moroni's strength became the ability to be exclusively concerned about being pleasing to God. This is beautiful. Thank you CFM for the lovely presentation. The first time I read Ether 12-15 I just about fell off my chair. I did a double take and re-read the passages a number of times. I was shocked, I could not believe Moroni had a weakness in writing. I am grateful to this wonderful prophet for his amazing love for the Lord and us. I saw hope and guidance where the writer saw weakness. I have come to realise that regardless of the weaknesses we see in ourselves, others will only see strengths ❤

Wow Ether 12 :26 you gave this insight just for me as I work with the Young Service Missionaries of the church. Sometimes I feel inadequate. The very words which you spoke is exactly the words that came out of my mouth. Then I remembered our setting apart from the Area Authority in which he said, "The Lord has placed you here at this time to work with these missionaries" Thank you for your teaching and inspired insights.

Ether chapter 3 verses 19 and 20 just amaze me. The Brother of Jared had faith no longer, because HE KNEW, I wonder if the Lord was surprised by his extreme faith that he could not be kept from within the veil.

I wonder if beyond the veil the Bro of Jared took Moroni aside and perhaps said - replace my stylus with a shield and sword and place me in the middle of a battle field then you will see you are the mightier. We are created with different combination in strength and whilst strong in some areas may not be so mighty in others, but combined we complement each other as children of God and become a mighty force against adversity.

I remember having to pray earnestly and then some to receive personal revelation when reading the BOM. The Lord knew how much of a challenge it would be for me to put in that kind of effort in 2020 so he gave me you. All I had to do was to watch you two teach with power and so much passion and personal revelations came with very little effort on my part. Thank you for helping me get through 2020!

I appreciate the weekly instruction and faithful commentary on our study of the Book of Mormon. It has made a difference in how I approach my study time and has enabled me, through the Spirit, to increase my faith and knowledge. I especially valued the closing comments by Taylor about the deadly political divisions at the end of the Jaredite history. His plea for us to review our own (current) personal and political divisions and return to emphasizing love, empathy and curiosity about "the others" in our lives, if followed, would go a long way to decreasing the fear and contention that is so prevalent. Thank you both for sharing your knowledge and testimony.

How I completely understand the weakness of comparing ourselves (talents, righteousness, faith) to others! And particularly when you are longing to be a righteous, virtuous, and holy daughter or son of God. It's so hard to stop the comparisons, but looking to the Lord can definitely help, and it has helped me. Not saying that weakness is completely gone, but thanks to the Lord, those things don't bother me like they once did, and I'm a happier person because it! And again quoting our son: "Glory to God for it!" Great lesson! Thank you!

My peace has increased by unaffiliating. It's much easier (but lonely) to SEE truth when others have admitted to setting aside their consciences to defend wrongdoing (on both sides).
I keep reciting the Articles of Faith. I keep studying the scriptures. I keep praying. I keep building my faith in God. I keep trying to love all men, even as I respectfully disagree. 🙏❤️🙏

Cont'd... That was indeed a trial of my faith except at the time l didn't see it that way, l simply wanted to do right by my Lord. In return he showed me the might of his power. What occurred in that court room is the equivalent of the Bro of Jared's 'finger of the Lord.' Whenever my faith threatens to falter, l recall my tithing miracle and my faith is again grounded firmly in the Lord Jesus Christ and l feel empowered and feel stronger.
Your act of faith was so difficult because you could have lost your home. How frightening.But you chose to put your faith in God and He performed a miracle for YOU! Can you imagine how much He loves you?!!

Taylor - I was pleasantly surprised to hear you speak of the “5 Whys”. I retired from Toyota Motor North America earlier this year after nearly 26 years. Although primarily used in our manufacturing sector to get to the “root cause”, we used it in our administrative tasks as well to seek answers beyond the surface. Beautiful segue to our lesson! In addition to comparison to others, I wonder if part of Moroni's weakness was being concerned about what others think of him (Gentiles mocking). Perhaps, through God's sufficient grace, Moroni's strength became the ability to be exclusively concerned about being pleasing to God. Thank you Taylor and Tyler for helping us better understand and feel the truth of the Book of Mormon and it's power to draw us closer to God.
Great question. I can imagine the enormous pressure I would be feeling if I had to write a book that would be read by millions 1500 years from now! I would feel small and week.

This is beautiful. Thank you CFM for the lovely presentation. The first time I read Ether 12-15 I just about fell off my chair. I did a double take and re-read the passages a number of times. I was shocked, I could not believe Moroni had a weakness in writing. I am grateful to this wonderful prophet for his amazing love for the Lord and us. I saw hope and guidance where the writer saw weakness. I have come to realise that regardless of the weaknesses we see in ourselves, others will only see strengths ❤

Wow Ether 12 :26 you gave this insight just for me as I work with the Young Service Missionaries of the church. Sometimes I feel inadequate. The very words which you spoke is exactly the words that came out of my mouth. Then I remembered our setting apart from the Area Authority in which he said, "The Lord has placed you here at this time to work with these missionaries" Thank you for your teaching and inspired insights.

I wonder if beyond the veil the Bro of Jared took Moroni aside and perhaps said - replace my stylus with a shield and sword and place me in the middle of a battle field then you will see you are the mightier. We are created with different combination in strength and whilst strong in some areas may not be so mighty in others, but combined we complement each other as children of God and become a mighty force against adversity.
