Brian I am just an old Army Medic that is a nurse now. I understand the time that it takes to learn a skill. I started watching your videos because I wanted to learn to do what you do. After watching several dozen videos I realize I will never have your skill, but owning a pair of your boots is now on my bucket list for sure.
Just received my Old Iron rangers back from Brian's Role Club resole. Not only do the boots look amazing they feel better. The quality, attention to detail and robustness are underrepresented. Red Wing makes an amazing product, role club finished the deal with these Boots. Thank you Brian!
Your redos look very nicely done good job Brian... I love watching your videos the way you dress reminds me of when I was growing up with my grandfather i used to wear his clothes and hats just like what your wearing now and now that i am a grandpa myself i believe i will start wearing the overalls and hats again...thank you.
Good work Brian. There is always plenty of work for those that want to do it right. Getting to ride along with Dad to the harness shop as a little kid was a real treat. The smell of leather and neatsfoot oil, along with the tools and machines was a trip to another time and place. People laugh at me for having four pair of resoled boots. Our world needs more craftsmen and women who can make our lives a bit better. Brian, have you made boots from scratch for a customer who needed a unique product?
It's also the definition of the quality and craftsmanship that immigrants bring to America. MAGA MAGA, that's why tRump hires immigrants for all his properties. Something to think about as you talk out of both sides of your mouth.
Craftsmanship so amazing and beautiful make you want to walk with the soles facing up to show em off to the world. Thank you for posting these. One day I will visit and get a pair of my own.
Love this series. Amazing mood and editing. I do wish you could show the entire process at some point rather then skipping it in the edit. Not as cinematic I guess but I would love to see it. Keep up the good work.
Cool, do you have a video where you explain the process? I'm curious, it looks like there is more stitching and more nails than original. Also you mentioned leather instead of cork. I'm curiuos if you explain your process somewhere.
. . . always enjoy the craftsmanship and... artistry I remain curious how the latest optional vibram soles for iron rangers endure over time and owners general thoughts
I have the vibrams and my roommate has the nitrile cork ones. He's had his slightly longer. Both are wearing comparably... mine are in slightly better shape taking the time difference into account of course. Biggest difference is traction. I'm in Portland OR and we just had a really annoying ice storm. He slipped down the front stairs while I had very little trouble. It's funny too because the sales associate at a red wings store here said the opposite would be true. I got mine a month or so after my buddy and they had just gotten the vibram going I believe. My roommate walks heel heavy and his are almost due for new heels. Mine have worn more evenly and I believe the heels are the same so I liken that to our different walking styles. Oh and timeline for his is roughly a year and like I said, mine are a month shy of that. 😄
Hey Brian, what a great job! I have an Red Wing 3343 and here in Chile we can't find the original sole. Can you provide this kind of product? Have you a web page or e-mail for contact? Thanks for share your art, it is amazing! Greetings from South America!
Saludos
Hi Brian, I also own a pair of IR that I've wanted to resolve with something like this. I'm local and wondering what you charge for something like this? Thanks
I really don't see a need for a resole on this boot 🤔 Looks like it had another 3 years left before a resole? Or was it because the owner wanted a different Sole on it?
maybe it didn't need a resole in terms of how much wear there was, but I know a lot of IR owners (including myself) who would opt out for something with more traction. Also, if the resole that I was getting looked like the job Brian did, I would for sure go for it.

Nice work, I'll send you mine when I need a resole.
I like your work, I have rangers that have the cork soles. These boot are new can you put a sole on them? What would it cost me?.
Sweet job.
What is the name of the sole you put on this boot? excellent your channel !!
is that leather stacked sole? Looks really nice!
The souls still looking pretty good shape
Hi Brian, I also own a pair of IR that I've wanted to resolve with something like this. I'm local and wondering what you charge for something like this? Thanks
Fantastic. 🙌🏽
respect ,good work
Beautiful
Excelente video
wow it looks nice!
I really don't see a need for a resole on this boot 🤔
Looks like it had another 3 years left before a resole?
Or was it because the owner wanted a different Sole on it?
De donde tiene sus herramientas y especialmente su sombrero
definitely subscribed
Do all those nails pierce the insole at the forefoot? did you put a new shank in?
I would have liked to see you sew on the new welts
So beautiful
Wow that was cool to see
How does removing the metal shank make the boot feel ?
just scooped my new IRs up today. love the soles you put on them, but this video almost put me to sleep with your song choice? who plays tha song?
Better then before
when resoling, is it possible to ask for a higher heel like in White's boots?
Those style of boots are they dress boots or work boots
I have Iron Rangers in black harness leather. I want a thick lugged vibrant type sole and heel on them. Is that possible?
Your hands look like zombie hands but man I love these vids u do amazing work
Hi Brian, will you be able to fit this particular style of sole on a pair of White's semi dress boots? I emailed you with more info. Thanks :)
Man, please tell me what kind of music is playing? I have been looking for a long time.
what color are these iron ranger? copper or amber harness.
Serviço de QUALIDADE.
What does it typically cost to resole boots?
that didn't need a resole
Iron Ranger soles are supposed to be incredibly slick on wet or icy surfaces.
That makes absolutely no sense
Nate Hill Did you look at the respective soles?
maybe it didn't need a resole in terms of how much wear there was, but I know a lot of IR owners (including myself) who would opt out for something with more traction. Also, if the resole that I was getting looked like the job Brian did, I would for sure go for it.
I own these exact boots. The soles are slippery. RW just started offering them with vibram soles, but these new ones he just put on are awesome.
master
Nothing wrong with these shoes. Why destroy them?
What brand and model is the new sole ? Im Not asking about the boot but the NEW sole
Role Club halfsoles and heels.
