Mr. Dafoe's face is probably what first gets him his roles but darn he's a great actor too. So recognizeable.
Im loving this thing of uploading a old interview before the new ones.
This is a year after he was Smecker on The Boondock Saints and four years before he plays Klaus on the Life Aquatic. In my humble opinion the man is a spectacular artist with great range. He can be comedic, stoic, powerful, weak, timid, bold, creepy and handsome (Wild At Heart) at the drop of a hat. I am constantly impressed by his addition to any movie I've ever seen him in. And yes, he was the best Green Goblin. The duplicity scene was amazing. Powerful actor and seemingly humble man. I take my hat off to you sir.
This was before spiderman, before at eternitys gate, the lighthouse, the florida project, grand budapest hotel......all before his legendary career in the 2010s and 2000s, man what an excellent actor

As long as Willem is still acting, I could totally see him being the Joker, albeit an older version. My only qualms would be he's already played an iconic supervillain in the Marvel Universe.
