Random Legendary Rider Agrees to Mic Up

- In this video I run into a random stranger on a Sherman S in Central Park in Manhattan in New York City NYC. He agrees to mic up and have a chat. He lets me pick his brain about the past, present and future of electric unicycles. This man turns out to be one of the pioneers of euc riding on nyc streets.
Turns out he owns top wheels, has ridden TONS of miles and can give detailed thoughts on his experience with many of today's popular units. Thank you, @ky0sh023 for an awesome ride along. We also do a little medium-to-upper speed run to cap it off.

Indeed, overall, I think it worked well. Next time I will ask the rider to put the mic closer to his helmet because I had to edit the volume throughout the video which was a little bit cumbersome. But I’m glad that overall we could both be heard pretty clearly.

What he says at 36:25 is the only thing that makes me “self conscious” while riding. Its like people are mad at you because of the level of maneuverability mixed with the apparent enjoyment they see.
Hate just flowing through their veins. They don’t even realize why or what it is happening to them either!

That was completely unintended somehow in the editing process.
I only saw it well after uploading and was fairly annoyed to see that.
I have absolutely no idea why it did that and so many times no less.
I find it outrageous that it did that because I didn’t do anything different so it never should’ve happened.
I will be double checking early in the edit process next time to avoid that happening again.

I usually try to deeply analyze my mistakes such as yours at 8:45, and correct my "algorithms" of EUC riding. Do you analyze your mistakes?
Definitely! Learning from every mistake and every good decision is the only way to go! Thank you for making an important reminder for me and all riders! Safety is the top priority when we do this outlandish activity!

I'm chased by Tigers.
Of course these are tigers that have been raised by monks. So there not very dangerous. But they love to jump out at me. And that gets me yelling at them.
"DAMN IT! Why you two think that's funny! HUH!?"
And then they like to walk with me for a time. And then bounce back into the forest.
People even come here to take photographs of them sitting next to one of these big kitties.
And yes I am talking about Thailand.
We also have Dragons at Lumpini park in Bangkok.
And they are everywhere.
And then part of my walk takes me to a place that Cobras like to chill. And they like to spit at me. So I have to carry a custom plastic shield. I say custom because I heated it and shaped into captain America's shield. Without the strips or star. I still need to see through it. And it fits on my back with straps I took from an old backpack I use to use.
And that's pretty much my day.
So yeah, I need me one of these.

Yes I've come across bikes coming at me. Very unnerving.
I haven’t seen any bike messengers out there in a while. It’s been a long time. I wonder what happened. They were so fast and aggressive.

I just noticed that I have a slightly asymmetrical lean- and you’re right, it may be due to the camera stick. I don’t want to hurt my back long term so I will be working on balancing myself out a little better.
