- The Engineer's Fang injures healthy Survivors that you hit with a chain at the cost of only spawning 2 (instead of 3) chains when they're already injured. This small change makes chains much less effective in chase. However, if you pair this add-on with the "Greasy Black Lens" you can use the aura reading effect to still have some advantage in chase and mitigate this otherwise major downside. Overall, I still think the add-on is worth running if you are careful with how you use it.

@@pacrat6271 I don't think so, but that's entirely possible. I think they said the files became corrupted which doesn't make any sense. Like are we supposed to believe they didn't have ANY backups? That's either gross incompetence or a flat out lie. Hopefully it's as simple as they weren't happy with the recording, and are trying to get Doug Bradley to do the voice himself.

5:28 the most upsetting match I’ve ever played had a lot to do with that room. This Ace was mad that his teammates weren’t doing a single thing so he got my attention and ran me. I kept realizing that that specific window makes it difficult to catch him, and as Nemesis it wasn’t a good chase. I left him multiple times until I just finally went after him. When I downed him the last survivor, a Claudette, screamed (eruption) and I went over to the gen and said “there’s no way”, opened a locker and found her. Sent him a message saying gg and that he was good, and even though he was mad, he was still a great person about it.

I don't really like taking aggro, but i pretty much always have to at some point because my team is garbage at the game and i'm the only one who can loop for more than 20 seconds...
Even then, i have to hope theh actually do gens. It's awful.

He should've tried it in a map like Coldwind, ormond, or any other map with t-walls and jungle gyms where not having all of pinheads chains actually hurt him alot, and the size of the map makes finding the box a challenge.
He played a couple matches with this build on stream, i think he had one match in yamaoka

The problem with this addon after the nerf is the legion problem. You injure someone, then you're basically an m1 killer. It got nerfed to the ground and its not good anymore, unless you're good at mind games using m1. Case in which, you could just play an m1 killer.

how unfortunate that vault after the pallet drop was, I cannot tell you how many times I was playing something, entered in panic and just flinched, pressing space twice or something, sometimes it's harmless, like jumping in the start of a gunfight, sometimes it makes me jump off the map, and sometimes I fire my one shot thing that took an eternity to get

There is something wrong with the hook spawns on Midwich right now. I played and one of the long hallways downstairs did not have a single hook in it. Two survivors wiggled out in the same game.
One game recently I searched three of the boxes for removing the Pig's head traps, turned out the fourth had spawned inside the secret corridor that connects the up and downstairs bathrooms. You know, the one that you can't access unless the Killer breaks the doors to, which in this instance they hadn't.
Remember when the devs changed Ruin because it was too commonly used? So when are they going to do something about dead hard?

@@Sarahsqueak in some ways for certain killers it did, yea. And then they introduced various new passive slowdowns like the old Ruin was, so not sure what the thought process was. But if dead hard is used in about 100% of lobbies and usually on average 3 of the survivors, maybe that's worth taking a look at...

Pinhead remains one of the hardest killers to play against for me. Every time I face him they always use ruin and defend the box for whole game resulting in a lot of pain.

I’m curious if Not Otzdarva lowers his mmr off stream to avoid dealing with the imbalanced upper level games that he had a part in creating? After all these survivors are clearly not at his skill level, which should be obvious to anyone.
He only uploads a handful of the matches that he actually plays, if you watch him on stream it’s much more what you would expect

Unpopular opinion: I think Dead Hard should be base kit, at least in some form. Maybe not the distance gained but a panic dodge mechanic. It’s already used so much and I don’t think it’s an unhealthy mechanic to have. Just make it not protect from traps and it would be golden.

I just realized the entity is a game developer fucking with us by 'balancing' the game. They block windows for killers while in a chase, but then they also nerf killer

Kinda hard to scale the addon on one of the easiest killer maps in the game. There was also an attempted rage quit plus several mistakes on the survivor. Not to mention the fact that you're REALLY fucking good at the game with a solid build. Eng feng was just a small part and you played the m1 killer role very clean.
With that said, PH ability is designed for anti loop. You used aura reading on top of the double chains to gain advantage. The ability itself is still reduced in efficiency but you punished poor plays by simply walking and hitting them.
Extra: everyone knows the greatest counter to anti loop is shift w...well, except these guys...
Right? I don’t understand this title with this game coming from Otz. He’s too smart to just make an assumption like that when this game was full of bone head plays by them.
At this point I think other content creators are passively try to make dis credit truetalents rants on the state of the game.

Otz are you familiar with the 36 Stratagems? They're a collection of psychological tricks to get the better of an opponent. You incorporate a lot of them into your style already, especially with Trapper, but they still might be worth looking into if you haven't already.

It's easy to say an add-on is still good when you're against honestly not that good survivors. I could have beat this team, without Engineer's Fang probably, and I know I'm not as good as Otz. Engineer's Fang shouldn't have been nerfed.

One of my most hated thing about this map is that I feel hook placements are the absolute worst, almost every game I get it's all bottom floor hooks and/or they're only on one side
Whenever I pick Bubba I get sent to Haddonfield without map offerings.
I somehow only lost twice in my 520 hours of game.

If you played on a monitor you could see better,but pc has settings where they can change to low or high on dbd for graphics but not for console that's why.Maybe try messing with colorblind settings see if it helps.

I never understood that.
Taking the teleport solves the box, but if he chains them it resets the solve progression which give him a chance to steal it
It is better to interrupt a survivor trying to do the box. If you interrupt them, you're pretty much guranteed to get your box and activate a chain hunt, unless they escape you and start solving again.
If you teleport to the box, that basically counts as the survivor completely solving the box, meaning the box disappears for a while and no chain hunt starts.
The reason why you see many people use their power to interrupt the box, is because it saves you a LOT of time, both in interrupt the box solver, AND keeps the survivor in place for you to catch up and knock them out to pick up the box yourself and do a chain hunt.

Engineers Feng, for when you want to play nurse (for the first health state of a survivor) but don't want to be 96% movement speed the entire game. Very stupid add-on.
I remember my third game every vs pinhead, not knowing about that add on, got hit then downed in 2 seconds, that shit scared me
Engineers fang, for when you want to make an extremely RNG dependant mediocre killer even remotely viable at high mmr.

I can understand playing pinhead on console being more difficult, but that doesn't make him "mediocre," just because you chose to play on console. Also, chainhunts are beyond stupid and annoying in solo queue, especially since Pinhead can start chainhunts himself and bring hoarders+franklins to constantly start them throughout the game. Also, you can't dead hard while chained, you also can ONLY slow-vault windows AND PALLETS too. The man is basically a higher skilled and higher reward clown with a PASSIVE POWER.
Calling Pinhead "mediocre" shows you suck with him, especially if you have to use engineers fang too.
