My Mom sewed all my clothes also, likely til I was 8 years old(oh my, calicos & ginghams & Halloween costumes as well!). I only ever enjoyed to hand sew. One day I hope to ‘piece a quilt’ though it might be in miniature for my dollhouse. I’ve no apron though I’ve a flock of hens so fingers crossed I might be Lucky One. Thank You for spending time in Your kitchen with me Lynn!
Ahhh. I do a little bit of hand sewing. I made tons of smocked dresses when my daughter was little. I have pieced several quilts and I love to make them but getting them quilted is always the hard part. Aprons are easy and don’t really have to FIT so no worries there and I still get to play with fabric. 😋❤️🧩😊
@@lgougeinthekitchen I’m certain the smocked dresses are Beautiful (& tucked away awaiting/desiring a Granddaughter in the future!)! My Mom smocked for my Daughter & Son & Granddaughter wears those made for her Mom. No Grandson yet…

Hot dogs look great. Will try them soon. If you are using butter not margarine and have a good butter dish you can leave it in the counter all the time.

I do leave butter in a dish on the counter a box at a time so I have some softened. 😋🧩❤️😊😊

This brings back memories from when I was a kid. Whenever I smelled something Mom was cooking, I had to sniff the air & “investigate” 😂 Mom was the best cook I have known to this day, & I’m 56 yrs old. Thank you for the fond memory of Mom!😋😋😋

My husband hung a ladder up over my sink with hooks and all my utensils are in easy reach…make things so much simpler and as I systematically clean up as I go…I just rinse things quickly and leave them to drip dry.
My chopping board loves being high and dry too…😝😜👍🫶
