- No Bake Lemonade Pie
1 package softened cream cheese
1 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
¾ cup of thawed lemonade concentrate
1 8 oz container of whipped topping
2 Graham cracker crusts
Mix all the ingredients and pour them into the graham crusts. It couldn’t get easier lazier than that.
Pizza Pasta Skillet Dinner
1 # ground beef
1 bag of mini pepperoni or the larger ones you can just quarter
2 cups dried pasta
1 jar 640 g (or about three cups) of marinara sauce
2 cups of water
2 cups of mozzarella cheese
½ tsp onion powder
½ tsp garlic powder
1 tsp Italian seasoning
S & P
Brown the hamburger in a skillet and add the pepperoni when the hamburger is just about done. Cook thoroughly and add the spices. Now add the marinara sauce and water. Then add the dry pasta and one cup of cheese. Make sure the pasta is under the water level. Put a lid on and cook for about 8 minutes. Test the pasta and if it is close to being cooked top the pan with the remaining cheese and another handful of pepperoni. Put the lid back on and bring it back to the bubble. Shut the pan off and let it rest for 10 minutes. Now it is ready to serve. Perfect for those lazy days.

My heart breaks for you Colleen.❤ Be kind to yourself. I love, love, love your recipes and look forward to you sharing many more. Ontario, Canada 🇨🇦
Made this for tonight's dessert. Used frozen lime juice (thawed, of course) - delicious!
@@colleenbeamer6403 excellent, I'm glad you have enjoyed it!
Looks delicious!
Colleen is my husband's mama's name. I loved the video and your recipes. Thank you and I subscribed!💛
@@fields-n-feathers thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it!
My neice wears that name as well as my aint !!!!! 💁♀️
I ❤ lemon! And the side bowls on the road is a great idea... you could even use grahams to scoop it up. 😁
I'm sorry to hear you suffered a loss in your family. I did get it that your husband is a truck driver and you're packing him lunches currently. So I think you lost a son. 🫂 I am saddened for you.
Colleen, given your circumstances right now you look wonderful. You’re getting up and pushing through this and that is all you can expect of yourself for a while. God will lovingly lead you. “For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand, who says to you ‘Do not fear, I will help you. ‘ “
i lost my 17 yr old brother in 1980 - i watched my parents go through life living with that loss and i dont know how they did it but they did, until they passed away and reunited with him and so many others in Heaven. You are not alone, you do not walk alone in this journey of grief and loss. I look back on my life and how i did or didnt deal with grief and there is only one way i made it through - and it was because Jesus Christ Himself held my hand, and i never knew it but when i came through the fire, He pulled me out. I am so sorry for your tragic loss. Your daughter would not want you to be sad forever.
P
Grief doesn't have a schedule, And we don't need to get over it as once was thought. Our hearts grow around the space that are loved one took up in our hearts. Dont be afraid to cry or to talk about them. I hope you have a really good support system❤
You may have not been feeling well wjen yiu made this video, but you made a home cooked meal and a dessert. Simple or not, you didnt call for takeout, and that is definitely a win! I hope you are being gentle and kind to yourself during this difficult time! Thank you for this video, Colleen.
Thank you for your kindness, it feels good to be doing something normal and not be in a constant state of sadness.

I'm sorry about your daughter. That disease is horrible. You're in my prayers. 🙏
I am moving my 90 year old dad here on my land. I'm planning on canning & freezing meals for this VERY independent man. Thank you so much for being you...
Thank you so much for watching! You are so fortunate to have your dad still with you. Blessings!
After my husband passed away I would stay in my pajamas most days. One day my son came over, he looked at me and wanted to know if I was ever going to get dressed again. I told him I wasn’t sure. I did start getting dressed, but some days that was about all I could manage. It is a journey.
It is a journey. The other day I realized that I hadn't cried in two days and that realization made me cry. It is getting easier each day but you never forget.
And the journey is a long, hard one! I lost my husband of 57 years.
@@eileensutcliffe6755 I'm so sorry to hear that. ❤️
Bless you.
Thank you for sharing. Praying for you too. ❤️✝️🙏
EASY, BUT NOT A LAZY DINNER…
LOOKS DELICIOUS 😋
THANK YOU FOR SHARING ✔️
Thanks for watching Diane!
So glad I found your channel. Much love and support to you. Thank you for keeping up the great meals and baking.
We would get a half pear with cottage cheese and shredded cheese over that. It was delicious. I served it to my family when I had children. It could be a used as a salad if you put a leaf of lettuce under it or as a dessert without the lettuce for the pear to sit on.
Hi Colleen, I think for you often and hope with each passing day you will find peace. I so enjoy spending time with you on your channel and your fabulous recipes. God be with you always my friend. 🥰❤🙏🙏❤❤
Thank you. I need to admit that when I watch your videos, I am feel happy inside. Your voice is quite calm and pleasing. It's like watching a best friend. Again. I Love your bread machine recipes. I made bread, cinnamon rolls and buns. All turned out excellently with my Black and Decker bread machine. It's an old one that was given to me 1 year ago. I did not like the MANUFACTURES'S RECEIPE BUT YOURS MY DEAR IS JUST PERFECT. From Ottawa with love, Merci !
I’m near Ottawa as well and I feel the same way watching her videos 😊
Can I use whipping cream in place of the frozen topping?
Thanks for sharing! Both look wonderful!! The pie would be great on a hot day. I'm going to have to look for some lemonade when I go to the grocery later this week. I get how you feel. Grief has no timeline. Go easy on yourself. Keeping you and your family in my prayers.
Thank you for the prayers, I'm sure this would be so much harder without them. 🙏
I’ve never had lemonade pie I’ll be trying this. I’m praying for you I pray your joy in life will return I know loosing your daughter must be awful.
This looks like something we would like. I will definitely be trying this.
Colleen, thank you so much for sharing these easy recipes. They look like winners for my family, too!
You are a precious Mother, I send hugs, prayers for peace, GOD BLESS YOU & FAMILY. HUGS OF COMFORT. 🙏❤️❤️🙏
@janicenash8382 thank you Janice. ❤️
An idea for your husband, a little package of graham crackers to dip. I watched a video earlier today where the young lady made a key lime fruit dip. They had fruit and graham crackers to dip and that was her family's favorite.
That sounds delicious and what a great idea! Thank you!
or animal crackers :D
Love this idea, Thanks for sharing ❤
Awww Colleen, sending hugs and healing thoughts. Dinner looks so good. Especially that dessert. Yum. 🌷🇨🇦
A lazy day casserole I make is,
Taco Casserole
1 pound ground beef browned and drained.
1 pkg or 1/4 Cup Taco seasoning
1 Cup uncooked rice
1 qt canned tomatoes
Bring to a boil, Cover and reduce to a simmer.
Cook stirring occasionally to keep
From sticking and burning.
Once rice is tender and liquid is absorbed,
Top with cheese of choice. Turn off heat.
Cover, till cheese melts. Can be served with
tortilla chips If desired, Add a side salad. Enjoy!!
** Variation:
Chili Cheese Casserole
Proceed as above but:
substitute a pkt of Chili Seasoning,
Add 1 medium onion chopped
1-15 Oz can of drained kidney beans.
Finish as above. Enjoy!!
Great recipe I think my family would love it, Thanks for sharing ❤
I think my family would enjoy this quick meal
I know we sure do!
Hi Colleen ! The meal and dessert you prepared look awesome and easy enough. Thank you for sharing 🥰🥰
Thank you Connie! 🥰
When my companion/ better half of 23 years passed,I spent the next 6 weeks it bedroom. I HAD to cook and also feed my 2 cats who were as bummed and bewildered as I. Cooking is therapy. It takes quite a while to recuperate so PLEASE be gentle with yourself and try not to let people tell you that "it's time to get over it" because that's not how grief works.
I just discovered your channel and I will, DEFINITELY return! The food is awesome and so is your "vibe".
Massive hugs to you, always. You are not alone.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
@SparkeysMum Thank you so much, I am really being gentle with myself and encouraging my husband to care for himself as well. It has been a long road and although not unexpected the grief is the same. ❤️
My mom is from Alabama, and she would bake a cake every Sunday, and we would eat on that all week after dinner.
I haven’t lost my husband but if it weren’t for my 7yr old granddaughter I wouldn’t get out bed. Please believe me someone here for you. Please keep it up.
First time watching, you have a most pleasant voice and confident demeanor. I’m sorry I don’t know your story, but you have my prayers for a happy and fulfilled life. Just know there are people out there who care about and pray for you🙏🏻💕
Thank you, Leanna. we are slowly coming back to life after the loss of our daughter. Each day is a bit easier, and we know that is because we have so many people praying for us. ❤️

Loved both of these recipes. Personally, for the main dish, I would quarter the pepperoni that goes into the dish if I couldn't get minis, but this is definitely a dish that is right up my alley 'cause I love "one pot" meals. I'm lazy most days, LOL. Loved the dessert too. I think it would lend itself to being made with any frozen juice if that were someone's preference. A tip for your husbands dessert - you could always mix some graham cracker crumbs with melted butter and press it into the bottom of the containers before adding the filling mixture.
You look lovely as always! My family will love this lemonade pie!!"Still saying prayers for you. You are my go to on RUclips for food and canning!
This looks delish. We’ve been thinking of getting an electric skillet (old one gave up) and this recipe is the boost to go get one. Can’t wait to try the lemon pie! Sounds decadent. Am sharing your video with my DD - she’ll love the skillet dinner! Bless you, Colleen. Sending you virtual hugs, love and prayer for peace and healing. ❤️🙏🏻❤️
Thank you for the easy peasy dinner and dessert. Prayers to your family. 🙏🏼

Good Morning! I really like your videos. I made a sort of cheese pie with cream cheese and instant pudding & cool whip with a graham cracker crust. It was ok. But never heard of using frozen lemonade. I also make pasta dishes just like the one you showed.
