- Weird Bike with Invisible Wheels
In today's video I show you quite unusual idea - make bike with invisible wheels. Instead of regular spokes we put pvc glass. As result wheels looks like invisible inside :)
If you like this video - don't forget to subscribe :)

@@akeemwhite467 That's because the spokes blur when they're spinning
Me neither.
He should've made spinners
Of course. In movement you can not see the thin spikes. Standing still it looks pretty sweet though
Someone should have told this guy you can't see the spokes when you're in motion anyway
Trevor Jones ye plus can u imagine how heavy those wheels would be

Yeah but when he stops they like what the fu..

So you're telling me this guy was smart enough to make invisible wheels but can't be bothered to put the forks on his bike the right way.. Interesting character
This feels like the easiest way to fracture the rims

*Him:* look at my invisible bike wheel
*Wind:* Allow me to introduce myself

Gravity: allow me to make your life harder.

What about bumbs and jumps

Thats gonna rip the brake caliper holder
I cant wait for the downhill urban with that wheel idea... 😄😄😄
Lol
Loooooool oh shhhh...
🤣🤣🤣
With the addition of lights under the wheels, something very beautiful will appear. Thank you, you are great in your ideas
Side wind and you're done!Truck at high speed overtaking, and you're done!
File this one under "just because you can, doesn't mean you should."

This would probably at least double the weight of your wheels maybe more
aegisgfx yes and they would have zero give. The most uncomfortable ride ever.

Correction: he doesn't have invisible wheels only invisible spokes
Correction. He doesnt have invisible spokes....he doesnt have spokes.
Correction: he doesn’t have bike anymore. Crashed and fell apart.
The Grace Ministries transparent* invisible means you can’t see or touch :)
Correction. He doesn't have a bike. It's a figment of his imagination
Matt Graves Right! There is no a bike anymore! It is a jeopardy of safety and stupidity!
I love the magical powers you possess where things just assemble them selves like when you tossed the tire onto the rim and voila...done!
I absolutely love it!!!!!!!!! It may not be as reliable or practical as a regular spoked wheel, but I would certainly ride it on cycle paths, and with those wheels on a cruiser to amble along, it's brilliant!
Everyone complaining about the wheels... I'm here to complain about the music.
"pushing away mindme ft. heli" I had to shazam it, just for your complaint.
Do not forget to mention of the very good music at 4:22 ... Luftmensch - Death Dance

In the words of the great James May, "it's an ingenious solution to a problem that should never existed in the first place" 😆
More aptly stated: "A complicated solution to a nonexistant problem."
Nothing ingenious here at all, since clear acrylic sheet is obviously the only practical choice. Anyone considering this, needs to realize how quickly the plastic will lose it's clarity when one actually uses the bike.

That why he rides more cautiously. All that effort and he still manages to have the forks backwards.
That's some really thick plexiglass, no way will there be enough pressure produced to break that. . This has been done before on wheels for a car.
@@millsshumps1968 having the forks backwards didn't seem to have any problem
@@MsTiagosk8 makes the steering more twitchy and unstable when turning corners hence why he's riding so casually and not at speed. The brakes are weaker in power and modulation when the forks are backward.
Wheels usually flex when you do jumps or hit hard bumps, sure I'd love to ride this bike but I wouldn't go on anything crazy with those transparent hard wheels.
The cinematography and editing on this channel are seamless! Very cool
And 2 Days Later the plastic broke and the spokes are reinstalled
Reinstalled at home so they're all fucked and he has to get a new set of wheels lol
at least he got money from yt
Problem they didn't fit
Considering his modifications to the hub and rims, he'll most likely have to buy new wheels.

This happened to me with my airplane. Propellers. Explosion of feathers. This would fix the problem nicely.
Nice work. Although I would have used 4 instead if 3 threaded rods around axle.
With only 3 points of attachment, a failure of just one threaded rod would compromise the strength of the remaining two rods and a failure of wheel would be around the next turn..........
I'm a totally bike geek. This is great stuff.
Be careful when strong wind attack front wheel's side.
I don’t think someone would ride a bike during a tornado unless their a daredevil
Or maybe depressed
@@retro9280 lmao wtf
@@retro9280 doesn't need to be a tornado. We have crosswinds all the time.

Put a can in the tire and make a F1 car
Bottle is about 69% better
I think many that watch this underestimates how precise you have to be to actually make a wheel like this.
So impressive. Also, you solved a huge ebike issue.
Pros: Looks invisible for 5min until...
Cons: Gets scratched, muddy dirty, or worse... fractures as a plastic disc has far less flex than the spokes.
+ it's heavy
After a few bumps from potholes etc something will give and the rider could go over the handle bars into on coming traffic. Apart from literally, I can't see this taking off.
Non aerodynamic
Looks good but not practical or efficient.
I feel we all ride bikes and take it too serious for this vid lol.
I can't see my spokes when I'm riding either.
🔥🔥 BARS!!!
Amazing art GOD bless u'
This is a Super Bicycle ✨
I love having brittle wheels that act as sails in a crosswind. . .
I'd say he should add holes, but then it might be too brittle...
The brittle part sure but covers for wheels exist lmao, they're used in racing too.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Plus I'm sure they are way heavier than spokes, on a bike the last place you want to add weight is the wheels
.....and really heavy too.

Windy days and big trucks on the road are NOT gonna be his friend.

Putting all the criticism aside this guy as 13.3M subscribers and well 20M views on this one video, he must have hundreds of millions on the combined set. I think he managed to find himself a little goldmine out of his simple idea of modifying bikes to make them look different. That and the fact that he is obviously also a very skilled engineer. This is great example of how new technology has found new markets and new jobs for people. Imagine what would he have done in the past, work for BMW designing indicators; this is a far better job, for an individual who is obviously passionate about his work!
Acrylic, hmm that sure gonna get lots of ugly scratches just after few days of cycling.
Edit: sorry. my bad. I didn't read the description saying it is pvc glass before commenting. 🙏
Solution: change it to glass it's more scratch resistance
@@Alex_Kosarev i tought the same, but if you look on the wheels, they take the most of the shocks. Can we not let him be as a founder of the invisible rims? And Acrylic is stabil enough for driving in New York City.
@@swisscarmb not if you’re hitting potholes and the like. I’d be cautious using this even on a smooth even road
Who cares when you look so fantastical
@@Alex_Kosarev 20mm is plenty for a bike wheel with a fat tire as the fat tire take rock and pothole impacts plus if you have a buffer which he does scratches wont effect your wheels and he is obviously using the bike for road although it would obsorb more shock to the fork if he had it on the right was as they are designed to flex
Until the first side wind :P
Yeah ! And he'll be invisible 😂
Fat bikes are notoriously heavy with spoked wheels. Replacing 64 spokes which weight 10 grams each with a 10 kg plexiglass insert will make this thing handle like a London bus with another bus on top . Ya ain't goin no where mate.
Put side ways pressure on it like a curb corner or something and the weels will snap like tooth picks

I figure you wouldn't even be pedaling a regular bike during crosswinds strong enough to be an issue with this bike.
@@_T_R_E_V_O_R_ 🤣🤣
@@_T_R_E_V_O_R_ Strong gusts of wind coming from the left or right. Left is not a problem since it forces you away from traffic. Crosswind from the right pushes your wheels towards motorvehicles.
You won't notice it much on the rear wheel since your bodyweight is mainly over that part. You will feel your bike moving under your butt but not much.
You will notice on the front wheel. Due to the construction of the wheel one part catches more wind than the other. Which translates into an unwanted turning of the steerer handlebar. Suddenly it feels as if someone kicks against your front wheel. If you go fast, you will tip over and fall.

Pretty sure its acrylic, the stuff used to make massive fish tanks. So pressure shouldn't be a problem I think. (My guess)
