That is a decent laptop! The webcame has an amazingly good microphone! Liked and shared usual.
Thanks Tim!
High End Cheap Tech hey, is the connect point with the base and the screen ok? Its look kind of weak
This laptop is not good for 800$. There are better laptops for 800$. And you don't need a gaming computer for games. Also the GFX card is shit in HP Pavilion 15!
Ps. This is just my opinion!
@@Nc2t it is not cheap! It should be around 680$-720$.
@@andrewmarcdavid is it worth for video-editing , gaming, photoshop and what about screen color display ?
Am I the only one who thought "holy shit it's Robert de Niro?!"
Just wanna say that was truly a compliment because Robert de Nero is a legend it's like the modern day mobster badass telling you this is what your gonna buy and why you're gonna buy it it was pretty legit brotha I enjoyed the shit out if your review and what was best was you're clearly well versed in specs most reviews don't bother to even put or say so you appealed to the tech nerd in me and for that you have my subscription to your channel well done sir
⁰⁰⁰⁰
I'm watching this video on the laptop you reviewed in the video, the laptop is pretty good and so is the video itself. I'm looking forward to more video like this
I have it and its great
Same.
James please. Can you tell me if its worth buying based on your experience. Do you run any heavy games. Is it true that the fan is very silent ?
I have this laptop and I am amazed how silent the fan is
LightMr90
can i use these 💿
Which version? Im about to buy one
Its loud af
Is it okey to play while charging?
Mohammed Hossam yes you will have increased performance, so I recommend to do so.
Great review straight to the points with nice editing and music. Keep doing!!
Great review! Straight to the point, no sugar coating, and easy to understand.
Was thinking the same thing!
Damn, spec'd with i7, gtx 1650, etc.. for under a $1k is killa!
Yeah, but you cant undervolt it and that fucks it up all. I have the one with i7 and my temps go above the 90s lol
@@starmember132 cooling pad easy
@@vasseem12 Of course but it doesn’t make that big difference. However, after a lot of research I could undervolt my hp. Nevet gets above 87C
Ended up buying it, pretty decent, screen flex was a concern but now I have it not a big issue, easy to use, great graphics, had a few issues here and there but updating the drivers fixed most.
@Irfan Iqbal Pros:
Excellent graphics
Stable FPS
Ergonomical build
Looks good
Screen flex is very minimal
Economical and stable battery life if you need to take it to university/school/work
Cons:
Battery can drain fast when playing high intensity games, easily solved by just keeping it plugged in.
Fans can be a bit loud sometimes, but unnoticable with headphones.
Had an issue with youtube/netflix videos having no sound after unpausing for up to 3 seconds but fixed this with a setting on hp forums, no issues since.
I chose the one with smaller storage space, I'd opt for one with 500gb+ more if you play a lot of large file games like GTA 5, RDR2, AC:ODYSSEY ETC.
Overall extremely happy with the laptop, I am usually a gamer on desktop but this has been amazing and is more powerful than my desktop now! I can play AC:Odyssey for 8+ hours with minimal issues, I've played Overwatch and had barely any stutter FPS stays stable and can play for hours. I recommend this laptop 100% it's one of the best computers I've ever used and is extremely handy if you need to take a laptop to university/school/work, It functions brilliantly for my uni work and then can go full beef mode when I launch games, I barely touch my desktop anymore. If you're used to a larger keyboard it can weird at first to get used to a smaller pad but it's easy once you use it a bit!
Good luck in your laptop hunt my friend :)
@Irfan Iqbal I live in Australia and bought it from a store called JB-HIFI, for around $1,400 AUD, everything sounds really expensive when it's in AUD so don't panic! It's probably a lot less if you're in a different country. When I looked at prices for laptops this was only $400 more expensive than a normal laptop with much less graphics power, significantly less! So in my opinion it's worth it to pay a bit more. I can see this laptop lasting me a very long time!
I hope this helps! If you have anymore questions I can help with let me know and I'll do my best! :)
@@kittyk782can this be use fot just streaming /cam . I don't game
Literally got one 48 hours ago - absolutely no regrets so far! (Except the heavy price tag I just paid!).
16GB DDR4 RAM
512GB SSD + 1TB HDD (HDD drive is from my old laptop!)
NVIDIA GTX 1650 (First time for me to try a graphics card, so idk what to expect!)
Intel core i5-10300H (I tend to trust Intel more)
144Hz refresh rate
Along with some freebies (and the style is just INSANELY GOOD!).
I really hope it can handle the engineering (and Gaming) workload I'm about to fire at it
It can Mister I have the same but 8 GB ram
Hey can u please tell about ur experience with it after one year ?
I love this dang laptop. It runs everything! Maybe not max but pretty damn high
It can run a flight simulator pretty well you think?
Bought Hp pavilion Gaming 15 some months ago And it's Worth it!!!!
I would give 91% to my pavilion gaming
Great review!
Thanks!
Excellent review and I enjoy watching your channel. Have you considered reviewing some mid range to higher end desktop reviews.
Yes I do have some desktops coming stay tuned... thanks!
Mine has the ryzen 5 4600h and gtx 1650, got it for $450 plus tax, such a fantastic deal
You can plug this into a gaming monitor correct?
yes
Do a year long review
nice review!
do you still have this model in hand? can you tell me the average temps while browsing?
mine averaging at 47-49c browsing, and 52-54c watching youtube
it's kinda bugging me, because other laptop with this spec run at 45c while browsing.
while gaming it's all good tho, thanks btw
Thanks ! I will check temps
@@andrewmarcdavid thanks for replying man, really appreciated it!
Cause I've found a bundle in my local store u get the laptop a hp laptop, mechanical keyboard, hp mouse and a hp headset
For how much
I don't feel safe with this guy. He looks like he's going to whack me when I turn my back. I don't trust Robert De Niro either if he invites me into his trailer.

I got the 144hz model with Ryzen 7 4800H 16GB 3200 ram 512ssd BUT with the gtx 1650 gpu for $1000. I think it's a good deal for me as i dont play games that much.
At First Thanks a lot for a Great Review and I Appreciate you for responding everyone’s comment. Here I have Few doubts, I’m Planning to use the laptop for Photoshop and Premiere Pro and was ok with specs but i read many articles saying this model has very low NITS 250 and SRGB, Adobe RGB Values which results in worst colour accuracy i checked with many review, articles, videos. So how do i know the exact value of adobe rgb and srgb values (official information or someother sources) and on other side model which im trying to buy is DK0046TX with 1050 Graphics or DK0047TX with 1650 Graphics I don’t see the major difference between two but would like to know which one will be good. I saw that 1050 is outdated but cost is the problem for me where I’ve to pay 5k extra for 1650 variant. Thanks
Thx for the review
Just bough this 3 days ago. Specced it with the 144hz display i7. 1650 GPU though.
Loving it.
You’ll regret it once you discover it cant be undervolted lol
I love this laptop thanks for information
Why took you so long? I realy hope HP continue doing this HP PAVILION GAMING LAPTOP its a great affordable product! I got the one with the 1050 (3gb) and Ryzen 5 and it gave me great performance! This its great product i recomend it too.
How's the sturdiness of laptop display? Does it flex?
Should I go for this or some other option?
Mine does not flex. But there are several configurations for the screen. And some of them have a little flex depending on the cooling solution built in. Its a great computer, i recomend.
I just bought my son the exact model you have and he absolutely loves it. He streams his gameplay and at other times just watches vids while playing games on it. He hooked up a 21" high end Dell monitor as an extension and it handles it all like a champ. He got a Razer Mamba mouse for it and he put a 256GB Onn Micro SD card for more SSD space and then I bought him a 5TB Western Digital external hard drive for all his games and videos he's making. It is a very good lap top for gaming or any other things you need to do on it.
Would you choose this over the Lenovo Ideapad 3i?
IS IT STURDY? WILL IT LAST LONGER?
pretty gud internals
Is it okey to play while charging?
I bought this bad boy yesterday and its really awesome. I have yet to play games on it. But mostly i am going to use it for development. And for your question yes games should always be played while the laptop is plugged in. It will give longer battery life and better performance when playing games. Latest lethium ion batteries stop charging once they reach 100% and convert to DC
Why is the 144hz display brighter than the 60hz one?
Would this handle streaming while playing warzone and connecting a monitor to it. Thanks great video
Nicely done .👍🏻
Excellent review.✅
See you again soon.🙀😂
Thank you.
Thank you for your video. Do you know if the big round HP badge at the back of the screen lights up?
No it doesn't. It is metallic finished badge but does not light up
please make a review for hp laptop 250 g6 intel celeron n3350
I've been wondering about this but I didn't like the green light on the keyboard at first (I'm so used to letters on the keys being white) but that doesnt look too bad. Not sure if I can select the colour in my country though
how can i save my battery when i play games for long time bro ? i have hp pavilion 15-dk1002ne
excellent review
i enjoy watching your channel consider ed reviewing thanks 🙏 😁
can i use 💿
Where can I find some ram upgrades? What is brand etc?
I have this and it WAS shit at first til my tech friend put on advanced system care and much better

My laptop has the same background at the thumbnail

Guys go to Walmart it's super cheap there. Only in person tho
Gru?
I love this laptop just bought it
Should I get this???
What about the omen 15 sir.?
I got one and the fans will get really loud if you play any newish games with modern graphics
Anyone know if this laptop would play Microsoft flight simulator 2020 well. Say at medium to high level settings? Thank You in advance, :-).
Does this work for Programming? Coding? C++ and Graphic Designing?
I'm searching for something I can use photoshop and video editing along with gaming when I get time.. 😊.. can you point me in the right direction... be easy on the bank..?? 🙏
How long for the first charge of this laptop?
Nice!
I bought AMD + 1660ti variant and it has a shitty TN display, only one USB A 3.0 and USB C 3.1 gen 1 :( I don't understand why all producers make weaker laptops when have AMD processors inside.
can it handle a monitor at 165 hz 1080p
Can this laptop play death stranding
yes
Will I be able to play minecraft and record
Yes
Is it worth it because I'm trying to find something that is gaming budget
Yes
I bought the 2020 model of this, the only problem i face is that when i play games while on plug, one of the cores of thr processor reaches 100 degrees celcius. its a corei7 10th gen
Yeah, its so fucked up that we cant undervolt ir
