Please remember that although Celine Dion did an extraordinary great version of 'All By Myself' in 1996, it was actually written by Eric Carmen in 1975 and the music is credited to Sergei Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto nr. 2 in C minor - Opus 18 - 2nd Movement 'Andagio Sostenuto' from around 1901... :-)
Eric Carmen was also the original recording artist.

10th was actual perfect. The start, the build-up and the blast of the end was just amazing.
All of these will of course be better controlling their voices, but as first audition... no doubt the best.

And All By Myself is an Eric Carmen song

Why did they put "All By Myself, Celine Dion" for Sonny on Voice Belgium? It's not Celine Dion! She performed it, sure, but it was written and first performed by Eric Carmen long before Celine. It was a big hit for him, a gold record.
I had the same discussion with the show. But it was in the version of Celine Dion. That’s why they mention her name instead of Eric Carmen. :)
It's awful when coaches try to steal the limelight. They need to shut up. But, hey, they can't stand to see anyone else be the main event. Disgusting.

6th has some imperfections in the way he drags tones out of themselves, but the judges will help him with that, other than that he too had no faults in tone quality.

The first girl, Henriette, is very capable but has absolutely no control. A couple of singing lessons and she'll be great.

Henriette was very good. Of the rest some did not really quite "nail it" - some had a good go. Israel was pretty good!
They all had their great moments. But the Sia song singer(Chandelier) and Israel were my favorites!! Dream On, too...we don't get enough rock on the Voice!!

third had 2 updrift problems, but otherwise very good.
The Dream On performance on The Voice Canada is far superior. This is also true of the Chandelier performance on The Voice UK.

Why are there some auditions with a curtain? Any answer just curious
In this case, the original artist was a female singer and the contestant sounded like a female singer but was actually a male. They put up the curtain to surprise the judges that the performing contestant sounded similar to the original artist despite the fact that the contestant was a male and not a female.
How is it possible that no one turned for the artist singing Kate Bush..I can't belive it..whats wrong with the judges..

Dolly Parton wrote "I Will Always Love You" and made it a hit long before Whitney Houston came along. Nothing against Ms. Houston but she always gets the credit as if it was only her song and it is not.

8th had no rythm, it was very up and down how she used it, she had a break in her voice in the song, you get that if you do not warm your voice up or are sick, so cannot blame for that. But she had several different ways of singing the song, which is what it is. I would not have turned for this one, but i would have turned for all the previous.
tHE Singer on South Africa is Awesome but way more into Body modification than her vocals
