This is the best mushup Sonic music! Not only did you do the boss fight, you also added your own twist QTA signs plus you have gotten the S rank! Bravo to you sir.
Bad sound direction? It's practically a staple for Eggman to say something that becomes meme-ish in every game he's a boss now. You know what they say? The more, the merrier!
I haven't realized it in the whole Mind-control fashion, since i forgot about how he tested it on Tails at first. Mostly in Colors, his plan was enslaving planets for his machines (? im iffy with my memory getting this mixed with Bean Machine xD). Fans say that the offshoot made TE, that's very..out there. Lol now i gotta find these theories.
I'd like to believe so. One of these days I'm planning on making a video rant about Blaze's Backstory, and I'm certainly going to try to prove it is (and that Blaze is actually from the future, but whatever). The nay-sayers have a very different idea about what defines "canon," anyway, but I agree with you.
I think it's more that he creates monsters he can't control in later games, in true mad scientist style. In Unleashed he does come pretty close to winning, since he breaks the entire Earth and reforms Dark Gaia without any trouble, only really sending out robots and bosses to keep Sonic occupied. There's no saying that Eggman wouldn't have been able to control Dark Gaia if the werehog didn't beat him up during this boss battle.
I always got the impression that Chip heard the rumbling and saw the falling debris, and then asks Sonic if he feels it in order to confirm something big is on its way. It's the equivalent of Goldblum asking "Do you hear that?" at the beginning of the T-Rex scene in Jurassic Park.
Well, according to Takeshi Iizuka himself, both the Rush and Rivals series are canon, and I have a few ideas of what each character's backstories are (or at least Blaze and Eggman Nega). Also, am I the only one who thinks that Sonic 06 'happened' before Sonic Rush?
He could barely control anything, it's actually impressive he controlled the latest monster. I actually forgot it -was- his fault for blowing the earth into those pieces. It could be interesting to see what would happen if he did get his hands on DarkGaia. Can't see why he's doing that besides make his own machines since theyre always defeated.
Yeah, the plot of Colours wasn't very clear overall, but something to that effect. His own plan undoes itself in the end, so he's still not much of a threat. And that theory is based off of one dramatic camera shot, where it closes in on the moon being hit. "DAT'S GOTTA BE IMPORTANTTTTT!" say speculators, and so they find some way to force it to be so.
Well, in Colours he came pretty close. If he didn't actually "release The Big Boy," his whole mind-controlling-the-planet thing might've actually worked. As is (according to fan speculation) the offshoot that hit the moon actually became the Time-Eater, but take that as you will.
Very true, but there's a very small part of me that thinks it's Time for a Change of Pace! I mean, in Sonic Adventure especially, Eggman would constantly interrupt himself. I have nothing against the cheesy lines, but I know that Sega could easily Take This! Take This! Take This! and run with it. They could make the quotes more context sensitive and less often, so when it comes to Eggman interrupting himself, He's Not Going to Get Away with It!
Probably. 06 (& Sonic in general) has a very weird definition of time travel, where you're only able to travel to certain points that run parallel to one another on a single time-stream (Think: Point F is always 200 years after Point P. As P moves forward in time naturally, F must also move forward at the same pace). &, according to some mission dialogue for Shadow, apparently the "present" of 06 takes place a few years after most other Sonic games. Therefore, well after the Rushes and Rivals.
Ain't that epic? This is the scene (well, more like the entire climax of this game) that tipped Unleashed to becoming what I'd call the best 3D Sonic game. That's part of the reason I made this video, after all.
Eggman cant win. Closest he's gotten to being a threat was eliminating half the moon as a hint to what he'd do to Station square. After that he became a softie :P
Huh, interesting. Personally I see Sonic '06 as either a series of events that were simply altered/removed from the original timeline, or a completely different timeline altogether; one where most characters have had similar scenarios (events from Sonic 1 - Heroes/Shadow) happen in the past, while other characters either have a radically different backstory (Blaze) or don't exist at all (Nega). Though Sonic Generations didn't exactly help either...
Very true, though it still seems a bit poor of planning for a guy with a 300 IQ to NOT build a back-up plan on the offchance that Sonic might beat him... again. I agree with you otherwise, though Adventure 1 still stands as the best written Monster of the Week in my mind.
...or at least reference it a la City Escape. I can't even begin to voice my disappointment with the last third of that game, especially in the sound department. But yeah, I definitely agree. It's a shame the Gens version doesn't mash so well with Deep Core.
I like the little text edits that you used for the button prompts on the quick time events. They have a certain level of charm to them!
This is the best mushup Sonic music! Not only did you do the boss fight, you also added your own twist QTA signs plus you have gotten the S rank! Bravo to you sir.
The added quotes for the QuickTime events are really cool lol
Man I love the egg dragoon fight!
It's funny how both bosses are deep into the Earth and their design are similar
Eggman said it himself: I was lucky. I love it when little coincidences like that occur in post-editing.
The wings of the Egg Dragoon are amazing.
Bad sound direction? It's practically a staple for Eggman to say something that becomes meme-ish in every game he's a boss now.
You know what they say? The more, the merrier!
I'm glad they're getting such great reception. It's something I should probably do again in the future...
"Hey. Hey. Hey, Sonic! YOU'RE TOO SLOW!"
Same giddiness I had when taking down Silver in Generations: "IT'S NO USE! AHAHAHAHAH!"
This thing is the love child of Destiny Gundam and Arche Gundam. I love it.
And this is why I love the Werehog. Great video, gotta love that mashup!
@Heroofgaming Have you seen the new footage? It looks like they've got the intense gameplay and the difficulty balanced to a T.
that music is pretty fitting on the boss

I liked what you did with the QTEs. You should post this as a video response ;]

Also, am I the only one who thinks that Sonic 06 'happened' before Sonic Rush?
@MegaGlassguy Same here. Glad you enjoyed.

@Iamfavor1987 xD Gl;ad you liked what I did there. I'm planning on using that treatment of the quicktimes throughout S'sWA.
@sonicfangamer2
xD Can you tell I got desperate on the last few?

nice mash up
Nice job. YAY Egg Dragoon's in Generations!
Clever what you did with the button commands.
@RelRao Why else do you think the controls won't respond? ;D
The Egg Dragoon theme is a little too perfect for this, unfortunately.
Well, in Colours he came pretty close. If he didn't actually "release The Big Boy," his whole mind-controlling-the-planet thing might've actually worked. As is (according to fan speculation) the offshoot that hit the moon actually became the Time-Eater, but take that as you will.
Awsome song
@SuperBurningFox I love it when I get lucky like that.
Very true, but there's a very small part of me that thinks it's Time for a Change of Pace!

That's kinda my job in all of Aussy's videos. I make the difference, or so I'd like him to believe.
The text made all the difference.
Eggman cant win. Closest he's gotten to being a threat was eliminating half the moon as a hint to what he'd do to Station square. After that he became a softie :P
It sure is epic :)
Those QTA signs of your are win!!
Ohhhhh

They should have mashed up the two in Sonic Generations

Rush Adventure is canon, just so you know.
WHUNN!!
I suppose since it didn't kill him, it...uh....
Why am I defending bad sound direction? Getaloadofgetaloadofgeataloadofthis!!!
It would be awesome, but a lot of people don't like him, and they would yell at SEGA again....
So funny
Thumbs up if you like Werehog
Nice job. YAY Egg Dragoon's in Generations!
