If you compare most female singers with their covers, you actually cannot distinguish between them well (with the exception of the slight differences in the audio itself that gives away that it is a cover). I guess the only way I can describe it is that the voice sounds a bit deep and the words slurred(?). And don't get me wrong, I like her covers too, and also are probably one of the most professional covers out there, but in my opinion, I think it lacks a bit of differentiation and she has a lot of potential to improve to become REALLY great. Christina Vee is probably a good rival to Sapphire because Christina has a much different intonation (perhaps higher range but without becoming annoying?) that I find extremely pleasing. It is a bit unique, which she matches fairly well to her covers.

Started watching on Netflix again, and I forgot how awesome that guitar rift is! It's awesome the first time you see Ryuko and the title comes up and you just here that opening electric guitar! Badass!!!
I actually like this a lot better than the original, the slight change of lyrics is good and the timing of the vocals is actually in line with the music.
