I'm doing the 6 week program from up here in snow-covered Ottawa, Canada and am really enjoying it, but this one was my favourite so far!! Have an awesome day!
Thanks Tom, another excellent workout. I must admit I love the no repeats. Some of those movements are really good for flexibility. Have a great day and enjoy the rest of your weekend.
Day 9✅Loved the variety of exercises. Still struggling with push ups but it's getting better. One day I'll do full push ups instead of on the knees. Thanks Tom!
Noticed last time i did the series that 5lb was too easy, so today i did 10lb with the exeption of those exercises you need to do with straight arms. Was very challenging but i think it's better. I don't have anything in between 5 and 10 lb so I hope next time I do it, the 10lb won't be as challengin
Absolutely loved that, thank you very much! I hate repeating exercises, I’m easily bored. I particularly appreciated the wrist exercises, as I have weak wrists, and it limits the weight I can lift, and also the explanation of drag curls, which I’ve never quite got the hang of before, but made complete sense when you explained it. I’m following from Yorkshire. 😊
Very thorough arm workout with so many different exercises and their variations that I didn’t know about. Like your cues through the workout to get the best out of each movement.
"If you don't like that one, don't worry, it's a no-repeat workout." That was great. Haha. I definitely felt that way with that first tricep exercise, but I think I was trying too much weight. I reduced the weight, and the tricep exercises were good after that. That one overhead lift was especially tough. I need to work those muscles (which muscles are those?). I appreciated the variety of this workout. Thanks, Tom!
Long head of Tricep (inner) works during overhead extension but it’s normal to be mechanically stronger in different positions. I try to pick exercises that will require a similar weight but there is bound to be slight variations in what weight would be ideal for each so feel free to switch dumbbells around if you have a variety to choose from. 👍🏼
I knew at the beginning when he smirked saying if you have too much energy at the beginning don't worry.. that it was going to be tough one. Still went too high as well heh.
What a brutal workout and never boring! I had to drop the weight on that planche press to get the dumbbells off the floor but I will get stronger. Your workouts are the best Tom! 🤩
Awesome. I hadn't tried some of those wrist exercises before, they were surprisingly difficult. My personal trainer never showed me those, and I wonder if it's something mostly overlooked. I'll have to look into them, what the benefits are and how often they should be included. I also noticed how much weaker my left arm is on the whole. Thank you, Tom, once again.
It’s hard to prioritise everything as a PT but yes these forearm exercises are tough. Definitely worth adding in if you have the time, especially the extensor muscles as they are often neglected and imbalance can lead to elbow and wrist pain.
Toronto. Even better the second time around! Didn't even recognize some of the exercises! Love that Zottoman curl! Are the Planche presses meant for male gymnasts (pertaining to the Rings apperatice)?
Oh god it was a great workout i really enjoyed your workout,i did this workout with my 6kgs dumbbells total 12 kgs and it was super hard for me❤ thank you Tom ❤Day 9 done ✅
You mentioned a warm up link in the comments. I did not see that. Also, you have mentioned a 45 day workout, but I don’t see that in your playlists. Lastly, do you have any officiated links that are not for Amazon UK? Enjoying the workouts. I feel stronger and have more energy throughout the day. I appreciate how you give information about form while doing the exercises. It really helps me not hurt myself.
Warm up linked now added to description. Here is a 45min DB Workout ruclips.net/video/kEMEESbXhQ8/видео.html there are a few more on my RUclips Dumbbells workouts playlist or lots more longer ones in my TPT Studio members area on my website. Not using affiliate links much these days but many sellers seem to stock similar ‘rubber hexagonal dumbbells’ so just type that into Amazon and buy the best value one similar to ones I’m using. Hope that helps 👊🏼💪🏼
Tough ! 🙂 7kg db's. Did the abs/chest workout yesterday. Bit soreness in the abs today so did most of the sets seated with a tiny incline. 61 y, started training for strenght 3 months ago. Belgium.
I was like, oh 17.5lbs dumbbells... Light day today... I didn't know my arms are going to turn jello... Great straight arms, brutal but love em... ♥️💪🇵🇭
Took a week off. Returning where I left off. Starting off slow using only 5 and 8 lbs dumbbells. I know in time I will be back to using my regular weights but listening to my body is most important.
Usually the more experienced the better workout you can get without needing a heavy weight. Plus this workout has relativity short rests with back to back arm exercises.

Full negative push ups with a re-set at the bottom is a good option 💪🏼

Thanks, was a challenge to put together that many arm exercises that go together with one pair of dumbbells! Well done 💪🏼
I have to admit that it was hard 😅. Greetings from Colombia!! 🇨🇴 💪
Ye, no heavy weights needed for this one 👍🏼
Took a week off. Returning where I left off. Starting off slow using only 5 and 8 lbs dumbbells. I know in time I will be back to using my regular weights but listening to my body is most important.
Yes doesn’t have to be done in 6 weeks. Just try and stick to the order where possible but extra rest days can be a good idea 👍🏼
Very deceptive this one
That was excellent. Go the Aussies in the ashes! Lol. Take care. From Queensland Australia
💪🏼
That was actually amazing
I did it with 2X10😅
Well done, thanks 💪🏼

Tom you are taraining about a decade why are you using only 8kg dumbell?
Usually the more experienced the better workout you can get without needing a heavy weight. Plus this workout has relativity short rests with back to back arm exercises.
Those straight arm exercises are TOUGH! 🙂
Yes I’ll sometimes go a little lighter for those ones if I have a selection of dumbbells 👍🏼
What if you don’t have any dumbbells and that
Check out my body weight workouts playlist
Awesome workout bro not a fan of the kick back personally great video tho
Thanks, swap it out for another set on Skull crushers next time 👌 They are difficult (for me also) if you are tight with your shoulder extension.
I did the arm workout this morning and forgot to thumbs 👍 although i thought i did
Appreciate you coming back 💪🏼👍
