  • In early March, former Fox News anchor Tucker Carlson and former CNN anchor Chris Cuomo sat down for a particularly interesting debate.

This conversation lasted two hours and was surprisingly cordial. Despite being public enemies, Chris and Tucker used this moment to openly sort through their drama, air their grievances, and be vulnerable. The interview had me thinking - there's a lot we can learn from this.

This was great. I will readily admit that I'm not a fan of either of these guys. I don't like the way each of them behaved when given their "pulpit". However, I am impressed with their conduct in this interview. I am especially impressed with Chris Cuomo's part in this discussion (at times it seems that Tucker doesn't really take this seriously with his giggling, but maybe that's a defense mechanism). I think Tucker's best contribution here is what he says at the start of the video where he admits to being incredibly mean to Cuomo, even though he's never met him, and he's honestly not sure why he's done it. Then he talks about how important it is that we get to know people before dismissing them or mocking them. You then echoed those comments at the end of your video. I keep hoping we'll all take that to heart. It's so important to listen to people and hear them out completely, and that's probably especially true for those with whom we disagree. We don't have to ever agree with them, but I think it's important to try to understand how they've reached their conclusions. I'm still not 100% how I came upon your videos, but I'm glad I did. You do a great job. Thank you!
