I want to let you know your a great guy all them guys out there trying to make money of your tube videos it’s sad and you do this free and give your knowledge for free your a great guy 😊
I've still got 8 supers on I've been hoping the bees will finish capping but it's been dry here and not much flow. The goldenrod is just starting to pop here so hopefully I'll be able to pull soon and check for varroa levels. Thanks for sharing friend
@ericsmith2055 I'm in SW Iowa. I've already pulled about 60 gallons off of my 14 hives just waiting on the last 8 supers to get capped. They are about halfway done. Think I'll give them another week and pull anyway regardless and just sit them next to the dehumidifier if the moisture content is to high.
Here in Minnesota on September 11th, 2023, Habitat Zone 4/3, Goldenrod has almost past. Will be over by the end of the week. I'm already on community feeding now, with the final honey extraction. The first snows will start next month. Then it's seven months of *nothing* - until May.
I've noticed my bees are fighting each other on the exterior feeder. Is there a way to prevent this and is it normal? Also I have loads of yellow jackets, is that something to be concerned with?
I have goldenrod everywhere! Happy to see it.
A fine way to start the day!
Glad to be back and able to watch your videos again, David.

They’re working it hard here in NE Ohio
Goldenrod is just starting to open here! I’m hoping for a good flow! Thanks!

Where are you located? I'm having the same issue and really want to spin some honey this year.

@@BlanchardsBees - I'm in mid-state Minnesota, and Goldenrod will be done by the end of this week, and already on the wane (Sept.11).

Would it be recommended to provide:
1X1 sugar water , mixed with pollen , Honey bee Good , oils of peppermint , mint and amino acid supplements ?
