And a new generation dose know him i learn of him while riding in my younger daughter car who is 27 she play him in her car and it way the most happy time for her and i who never see eye to eye except for Ram Dass
I wonder if Ram Dass understood that the Buddhist monks who line up every morning to receive food from the people of the communities in which they live and serve are doing so in the light of Buddha's teaching that one must allow others to do for them in order that the receiver lives a life filled with humility. I'm sure that after he processed his ego's revulsion at being that receiver, he found through his loving awareness, that he as a receiver, was choosing from that plate of humility.
Sooner or later we'll all need someone to help us, whether because of old age or hardship in life. It is a lesson in humility to gracefully accept when we need, just as readily as we give when we can. God bless him.

It is sad to see Ram Dass this way!
On the contrary, it takes great courage and humility

Is it strange I feel strange hearing them talk about money as they do...
