Who's to say about accents? I have lived in the Bronx all my 62 years and I am Black But when I leave NYC and venture south, they know I am from NYC. But the accent sounds Bronx-Jewish> Which is distinct from Bronx-Itallian! When I was growing up there were still plenty of Jewish Bakeries and Itallian Deli's. Also at that time Puerto Ricans and Blacks were in that mix in the Bronx!So all 4 dominant groups picked up a little from each other! Yes Virginia, there is a Bronx accent!
I always wanted Brenda to dress as nice as Rhonda. I thought she never got all the credit she deserve. It's kind sad what happen to Valerie Harper You never hear about Julie anymore.
Its funny b/c im aware that im giving a backwards props...meaning that when I now hear Julie Kavners speak I think of Margres voice from the adult cartoon . the Simpsons instead of the other way around ..

I know this was a very important episode where we got to witness Brenda actually getting some much needed competitive confidence but it was so freaking nervewracking. What I want to really know is where in the hell was the episode with me watching all 5 seasons, every single episode and this is oddly the first time I am seeing this. Weird.Very weird.
