I often hear you wonder how to pronounce Tarot Renard, but I never took the time to comment with the French pronunciation. Yours is pretty good actually :-) There is just one little trick! The Final -d is silent! 🦊
Ahhh! Thank you for sharing all your collection, Lisa. I managed to buy a ton last December and still adding more because some decks just makes my inner child happy while feeling inspired to also enjoy the adulting business. The Way of the Panda is sooooo adorable. Some decks get your attention and that’s so special. ❤
As a newbie these were so fun and interesting to watch. Such a great way to see lots of decks and different styles. Now I'm off to binge watch your entire channel and see how many decks make it into my cart. Hehehe
I’m a BIG RW/RWS Tarot lover. It’s what I learned with and found that first spark of magick in. So I feel like I need to own all the RWS decks and clones out there. So anytime I see a deck following that format, or the imagery revamped I’m IN! I totally get what you mean and feel when it comes to certain decks needing to be, or stay in your collection.
I completely agree with you about the cold foil on the Victorian Romantic. I was so surprised when I got it in my hands to find that I didn’t care for it since I absolutely love it on the Alice tarot. Then I read somewhere that the Alice deck was the first one specifically designed with the foil in mind, whereas with their older decks they were going back and layering the foil over pre-existing art. I think it makes such a difference. If you’re ever able to get your hands on an earlier edition of the Victorian romantic without the foil, it’s really lovely and has so much depth.
Ohhhh that DOES make sense! I hadn't considered that Alice may have been designed with it in mind! The other foiled deck of theirs I just love is the color Mythical Creatures and I think that came after Alice! :)
Witchling Academy Tarot has been on my radar here and there but not on my wishlist, but Pamela Chen who I believe wrote the book for it is coming out The Tarot of Owls, which I'm so stoked on. Thank You for taking the time to do this, that is ALOT OF DECKS WOW!! I've enjoyed this so MUCH Have a Happy New Year to you!!! 😄
Hi Lisa. I wonder if you've heard of the Dreaming Cat Tarot. I wasn't sure which deck to get until I came across that one.❤️🥰 I send you my best wishes for the coming year
That ten of swords in the Teddy Bear Tarot reminds me of a certain season finale in GoT 👀 I wonder if that was their intention or on the artist's mind when they made the card.
Oooooo, Lisa, don’t let the Vampire Tarot go!!!!! It’s definitely a keeper!!! I just love the sharp corners and how they bite your fingers when shuffling! So clever! I once saw a tarot tuber complain about the sharp edges and showed how she rounded the corners!!!!! I was like nooooooooooo!!!!! You just ruined the deck 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ The whole reason I got this deck was because of PCS as the QC…. And I’ll keep the deck solely for that one card. Kinda crazy I guess….. but I love pulling that card out and putting Pixie on my altar on her birthday in February to honor her and her immeasurable contribution to Tarot. I confess I’ve never read Dracula…. I know, I must…. You’ve inspired me! ❤🧛♂️ ❤️🧛♂️❤️
I have an intense hatred for baba studios decks and their place in the community (especially certain rabid collector groups on FB), which I find an interesting thought of mine and I’m actually gonna delve deeper about where that feeling comes from.
I agree with the comment about the re-watch value of these videos! It's delightful hearing you talk about your collection (even though your decks line up less closely with my collection than I would have expected). I picked up the Tarot Renard after your review of it, and it's the closest I've found to a "soul deck." There's a sweetness to it that I don't find in even my other adorable decks, and the cardstock and box are top-notch. (The cardstock on Tatoo Tarot is also superb, especially for a mm deck.) I wonder if Tarot Renard is too similar to Way of the Panda for you to reach for it much?
I wonder why it has become such such a sin to have decks that you just love to look at, that inspire you in other ways outside tarot reading. I have quite a few decks that are used just to make me happy when I look through them. I have decks I read with all the time but I won’t feel bad about having decks I just collect 😊
I don't think it's a sin at all! :) I, personally, prefer to mostly have decks I use. There are a couple I enjoy just keeping - but the more of those I have, the more cluttered my tarot storage system feels and it's harder to find what I want to work with. But there is absolutely nothing wrong with collecting Tarot or anything else - just out of appreciation! :)

ooooo thank you! I'll try and remember that!

I enjoyed seeing all your wonderful decks.
This series was so fun, it really brightened my month! Will you also be doing a series of the decks in your purgatory drawer/box?
Peggy and I did a live to go through the things that were up for consideration for declutter! :D

The two of these - Tarot Renard and Way of the Panda *DO* feel similar to me... because they both focus on just a single animal... for sure!
This series has resulted in quite a few new deck purchases!! Thank you! (I think. ;p) Love your channel SOOO much!
Yay, thank you!

I didn’t see tarot of oneness mentioned! Did I miss it?
It didn't make it into this collection series because I filmed them before it had arrived! :)
