So, I totally didn't just order the Cute and Creepy tarot and the Adorabyssal oracles after you pointed out how good they would pair together (and I don't even pair decks...yet!). I've been wanting the C&C since watching SYttD, and then of course I watched the walkthrough. I also realized that it sort of replaces the Little Buddha tarot for me....I tend towards the dark and creepy anyways, but I adore the cute (especially big eyed cute!!!)

The chat between Peggy and Lisa is keeping me entertained - particularly how they keep interrupting and talking over the top of each other! I can't believe I've never come across the Practical Tarot Wisdom cards before. I've just ordered them straight away on the back of this video. I'm relatively new to tarot, although dabbled as a teenager, and I've been finding it hard to learn all of the meanings. I think it will be a great deck to use as a training deck, alongside wider descriptions on the net.
I loved everything about this! I did add the giant tarot cards to my Amazon cart. I have been doing a reading for the month and displaying the card of the week and it will work perfect for that… and also the Everyday Tarot is $10 on Amazon and I really love the colors… it will be here tomorrow 😊

I added one deck to my wishlist: the Sacred Sites Oracle. It's a yes because I like "across the world" decks but a no because I don't use oracles. It's great to see someone in action who can be so categorical, I'm a bit jealous of that ability. I have about 90 decks and three cupboards full of fabric.
This was so fun to see what would stay and what would go and hehe yes! I have a mini dollhouse tarot deck too! I do actually use it to put within my charm readings but also in my mini travel altar that I take on hikes and to go camping and stuff. ✨

I LOVE that spreadcloth! That micro-deck needs better storage than a plain white envelope. Perhaps a mini mint tin? I love that Tarot Nova. Can't find it anywhere at a good price. Used copies confuse me over the possiblity they're maybe just selling the book and I want the cards. LOVED THIS PEGGY! Thanks for sharing.
Practical Tarot Wisdom would have been sooooo handy when I first started with Tarot. In fact I still could probably learn a ton from it. I like the format/layout too. Smaller decks are definitely lovely to have! I've got two tarots in a tin (White Sage and the Halloween Tarot) and I love handling them. I've got the Morgan Greer full size deck (my first tarot deck actually) but it's so tempting to get the tin version to have a smaller copy.
Peggy, please consider a small see through organza bag for the miniature deck that you keep misplacing. I shudder to imagine someone tossing an envelope that seems empty!
I'm with you, Peggy, I LOVE mini decks! I just got the Everyday Witch mini deck and thought it would be hard to shuffle but it's so easy and I can do any layout with it. And I totally love it.

^^ ... my ratio is around 1:1. Most of my tarot and oracle decks ... are connected to other tarots and oracles in my collection and form ever changing kinds of thematic clusters.
I like your style and choice of decks better! Totally relate, and I love how you said that the words and image has to match and make sense in a deck. I don't care for overly whimsical and extremely farfetched decks that I'll never read for people, or just for my personal amusement. I'm also a big fan of the "Waite-Smith" tradition myself! 🤗🤗🤗

One can use such decks together really well. For clarification of delving deeper ... and you can just lay the tinier card over the bigger ones. (Oh ... and the "doll house RWS ... it is usable. Just lay them out face down ... and let the client choose the cards and where they should be placed within the specific spread. Unfortunately this doesn't work if the backs are too distinguishable from the damage they've taken.) Back to sizes: My favourite sizes are "Oracle Size" (3.5″ x 5.75″ - especially for Tarot), "European Board Game Size"" (2 5/16" x 3 9/16") and "Mini American Board Game Size" (1-5/8” x 2-1/2”). (2.5" x 1.75"). And I do love Portals of Presence which is around the size of the Giant Rider-Waite ... Most of the decisions in the video do make a lot of sense to me. If I wouldn't be able to do sound readings with oracle decks, I wouldn't keep them either. However that's not the case for me. Decks that actually don't work for me are the RWS, it's clones and similar decks. So I only kept the Golden Rider for reference ... and some qualities in the artwork. Again: Moving types of decks that don't work for oneself ... is imho a good choice. What I didn't understand is letting go the Tarot Nova. With it's childrens' book kind of illustrations, its unique, sometimes weird symbolism and the black background (that adds a shadowy touch) ... I deem it to be very different from ... the Everyday Tarot with it's clean lilac, gold and white RWS pictures, that delve into the realms of spirit and notions.
Loved hearing Peggy's take on the decks. If you're considering doing more of this type of video (I hope you will!) please consider a mic for each of you. It was difficult to hear Lisa.
I am like Peggy stated - I need a deck where the image on the cards matches its meaning. - I automatically know "oh this means.... walking away, or heartache" by image before I even read "3 of cups". The down side is that I cannot use pic (or pip?) decks. It's baffles me how I can memorize so much stuff in life but not 78 Tarot card meanings by number. It feels "recited" or regurgitated. Ask me what the 5 of swords mean I'm clueless, but drop a powerful scenic image of the 5 of swords in front of me and I just know the energy or story of the card's image. I'd love more decks but I've only found a few I truly connect with. But my Oracle collection is out of control! I should declutter but it's hard. I have a few ideas I would love to video for feedback, if I could ever figure out the whole " filming -video-upload - technology scares me" thing. Ha I love this tarot community. It's so supportive and fun. Thanks for sharing your declutter. :)
The first deck I ever bought was the rws giant tarot deck. I’ve used it quit a bit but I have smaller hands. I the bought it in the regular tarot size and I no longer really use it. You can see a lot of detail in the giant size though! ☀️☀️☀️

5 cent tarot and cagliostro (Marseilles one). Those are the ones that interest me. This was a fun video to see. I love to see others culling process. I probably have about 100 decks. I have zero desire to cull at the moment, but no problems adding. 😔🤣
Funnily enough, I actually started using the Everyday Tarot for the training wheels course before you even suggested it. Mainly because like you, the three-toned art doesn't really resonate with me and so it was the only one I felt comfortable writing on, BUT it is really close to the RWS and I have these white paint markers that pop really well on the purple.
The dragon tarot was my very first deck too! 🥺😭 I saved up money from my first job and got it on Barnes and nobles like used sales, it will always be my favorite
I met somebody at a convention,who has a Harry Potter doll that she brings and dresses up. One costume was of a Time Lord,from Doctor Who. For a tarot lecture,she had him in wizards robes,and,carrying a miniature tarot. It wasn't quite as tiny as the doll house deck.
I am DEFINITELY interested in buying/trading for the Healers of the Earth Oracle and the 5 Cent Tarot. I just watched a walk through of the 5 cent tarot and I love it so much. Especially the first edition (I like the original key words better). And the Healers of the Earth Oracle is so beautiful. Thanks for introducing us to some cool decks.

The Everyday Tarot is my most used mini. I wish they made it in full size too. I randomly buy copies of the Everyday Tarot cause it gets used so much. I think i have three copies in various places my purse included.
The TP fabric…..🤣 Peggy is quick to purge, me even if I barely used a deck if I happen to like the color of the little tiny bird off in the background than it stays. I hoard, lol and it makes for some interesting storage methods but when there’s a will there’s a way. 😙
I’m very picky about the decks I buy but I do concidering myself a collector I laughed when she had more decks then me . The dragon tarot was like the 3rd deck I got wish I still had the guide book
I think that Peggy will like (Tiny Universal Waite Tarot Keychain) It comes in a tiny plactic box. It isn't as small as the ones she has inside the envelope, but the box does protect the cards. I love tiny things too.

Ask me what the 5 of swords mean I'm clueless, but drop a powerful scenic image of the 5 of swords in front of me and I just know the energy or story of the card's image. I'd love more decks but I've only found a few I truly connect with. But my Oracle collection is out of control! I should declutter but it's hard. I have a few ideas I would love to video for feedback, if I could ever figure out the whole " filming -video-upload - technology scares me" thing. Ha I love this tarot community. The first deck I ever bought was the rws giant tarot deck. I’ve used it quit a bit but I have smaller hands. I the bought it in the regular tarot size and I no longer really use it. You can see a lot of detail in the giant size though! ☀️☀️☀️

5 cent tarot and cagliostro (Marseilles one). Those are the ones that interest me. This was a fun video to see. I love to see others culling process. I probably have about 100 decks. I have zero desire to cull at the moment, but no problems adding. 😔🤣
Aweeeee The Dragon Tarot is my first deck too!!! I don't use it anymore but I keep it for sentimental reasons. It's such a cool deck :P
Funnily enough, I actually started using the Everyday Tarot for the training wheels course before you even suggested it. Mainly because like you, the three-toned art doesn't really resonate with me and so it was the only one I felt comfortable writing on, BUT it is really close to the RWS and I have these white paint markers that pop really well on the purple.

The dragon tarot was my very first deck too! 🥺😭 I saved up money from my first job and got it on Barnes and nobles like used sales, it will always be my favorite
I met somebody at a convention,who has a Harry Potter doll that she brings and dresses up.
One costume was of a Time Lord,from Doctor Who.
For a tarot lecture,she had him in wizards robes,and,carrying a miniature tarot.
It wasn't quite as tiny as the doll house deck.
Great video I wasn't a fan of my gilded tarot but once I trimmed it I'm starting to like it and I think I'll edge it soon

The Everyday Tarot is my most used mini. I wish they made it in full size too. I randomly buy copies of the Everyday Tarot cause it gets used so much. I think i have three copies in various places my purse included.

Peggy is quick to purge, me even if I barely used a deck if I happen to like the color of the little tiny bird off in the background than it stays. I hoard, lol and it makes for some interesting storage methods but when there’s a will there’s a way. 😙
I’m very picky about the decks I buy but I do concidering myself a collector I laughed when she had more decks then me . The dragon tarot was like the 3rd deck I got wish I still had the guide book

I think that Peggy will like (Tiny Universal Waite Tarot Keychain) It comes in a tiny plactic box. It isn't as small as the ones she has inside the envelope, but the box does protect the cards. I love tiny things too.
The tiny Universal Waite that I have is the same size, just in a box. I actually made a tiny bag for it, but didn't show it in the video lol
