While he is likely superior to Chief in hand to hand, don't dismiss Chief. In the books, he deflected a missile at one point by literally brushing it aside. We also know that during a single mission (which in Halo CE is the mission Truth and Reconciliation) he killed 120 Covenant troops. He has also faced Hunters head on and has killed multiple spec op Elite teams. The guy is no slouch.
"And so it was that the two greatest warriors of the age slew each other on that battlefield. The Prophets' lies continued on to blind the Elites for centuries to come, all because one warrior had too much honor, and the other too little..."
This is by far a masterpiece in halo because It explains even more why the bage of arbiter became a mark of shame and the fight sences were very entertaining
It is, their is a story of Elite's raiding a human building and when they enter all the humans were asleep so instead of killing them right then and there the Elites waited for the humans to grab their weapons before slaughtering them all.
Funny to note, but the Japanese Version, while the same base story. Actually has a few differences between each other. For example: - The man on the boat is younger and asks Arbiter if this is what he wants to do. - The Ambush is more of a search party.(Same thing really, but its a small difference) - The Prophets reasoning for the Arbiter is different. Arbiter was sent on a mission to kill Heretics, but due to him not wanting unnecessary killing he spares a few. Making the Prophets angry. - Fal's appointment to Arbiter is stated as happening 10 years ago, when he was charged with a mission that required one. - Haka is less a devoted Holy worrier more a Brute if I'm being honest. Haka is willing to do anything to complete his task. As the people Arbiter Spared was killed by Haka in the aftermath. - The conflicts beginning is different but the result is the same. - "The Journey is a Lie!" Is completely gone in the Japanese Version. The shout is instead in a defense of Arbiters Wife, as the Prophet asks that the Arbiters kindness actually came from his Wife. - The conversation between Fal and his wife is different actually. Instead of Fal telling his wife to go else where, its changed to Fal telling his wife how much he loves her and Fal's wife pointing out the death flag of such a statement. - Small difference in the Courtyard, similar to the English ver its Fal telling his men about their fighting style, but tells them not to let their guard down. - Roh and Fal's conversation is completely different. Instead of Roh warning Arbiter about his statements to the Prophets, in this version, Roh and others are AGAINST the Prophets and wants Arbiters Support in an uprising. - Fal is aware of how the Elites are changing and in someway is accepting, but doesn't wish to join the Uprising as to protect his wife. - Fal and Roh both have wifes, and Fal wants to send his wife to meet Roh's(Likely his way of keeping her out of the fight.) - The Prophets ordered hit is different. The Prophet finds out about the Uprising and orders Haka to kill all of those who plan to upraise along with the Arbiter. - The reason for Roh killing Fal's wife is actually to protect his own wife. As Haka threatens to kill her if Roh does not kill Fal's wife. - The Grunt that screams "He's a Demon!" Is the same in the Japanese Version. But I prefer the English version, its much more funnier than the Japanese ver. - From here, everything is basically the same, say for the Dialogue before the duel. As its less about Han and more of how Arbiter is late due to the massive army he just killed his way through. For anyone wondering, I am Japanese but even my Japanese isn't perfect, if anyone wants to correct something I may have miss interpreted please comment. But its just funny to note how the story changed when Dubbed into English its fun to not the differences.

In the original trilogy they seemed more like religious zealots. Similar to muslim and christian fundamentalism. Holy warriors basically. But since halo legends is a Japanese production obviously they're gonna have samurai influences.

Of COURSE that fucking part would start playing AS I'M TALKING ABOUT IT._* Although, I think I cried harder when it showed the flashbacks as Fal Chavamee remembered his wife as he fell to the ground... Dead.
@@bayporwave5328 Indeed. It gives context as to why the "Arbiter" title is a mark of shame in the Covenant as a whole, yet still respected among the Elites. Remember what the Shipmaster said. "The armor suits you."
his actions in this fight weren't for nothing in the end, eventually the arbiter with the swords of sanghelios and humanity brought down the covenant, and its leader died grasping pathetically for his life, while the flood tore his body apart, at least fal went out with dignity, and honor.
Bruh idk why people are hating on the inky style need to get out of here it makes this episode of halo legends one of the most unique and fascinating cartoons I've ever seen.
It’s important to remember that Master Chief at that time was very injured, heavily exhausted from essentially 3 weeks of constant fighting on Reach, Alpha Halo, and Reach again, was ambushed, and most importantly his armor was practically falling apart. Even Dr. Halsey remarks that John should be in shock and in a coma, not about to go on another mission. And the marine gunnery sergeant tells us that every part of his armor was failing too. So in context, it makes sense that Chief struggled. A few weeks later when Chief was onboard the Keyship returning to Earth, he killed like hundreds of brutes (including a chamber full of dozens of them) like he was Doomguy in CQC for weeks until he abandoned ship after failing to assassinate Truth.

Actually, I just realized something. Fal Chavamee could've assassinated Haka or just straight up killed him easily. Yet, he didn't. Why not? Because, he wanted to maintain his honor. Remember in one of the H2A terminals, the Arbiter (before halo 1) let the soldiers pick up their weapons for a fair fight? I think he was trying to maintain his honor. However, that stance seems a lot like he was trying to move fast enough to Haka before he could strike.

Not exactly if you know the lore of the Unngoy/Gunts. It's also a bit of black humor to lighten the mood and make the audience laugh after seeing the results of this Arbiter's massive fight.
This one is my favorite one of the whole disc. It's not just cool explosions and people getting killed cause it's war. It's about the struggle of the Arbiter. My his fictional soul rest in peace.

Absolutely timeless piece of halo media. It has some weird bits, but its pros vastly outweigh any issues it has. Im still kicking myself over losing the disc i had for this
Halo and anime go so well together, hopefully we get a regular series one day.
This arbiter makes master chief look like a wimp
This Arbiter never fought the Flood though, so I guess we will never really know, but he is a badass no doubt.
HaloGamer555 wait this ain’t vel??
Sorry,wait this isn’t thel???
While he is likely superior to Chief in hand to hand, don't dismiss Chief. In the books, he deflected a missile at one point by literally brushing it aside. We also know that during a single mission (which in Halo CE is the mission Truth and Reconciliation) he killed 120 Covenant troops. He has also faced Hunters head on and has killed multiple spec op Elite teams. The guy is no slouch.
Haydn Andrus This Arbiters name is Fal Chavamee. He was the Arbiter that made the title Arbiter become a mark of shame

This is by far a masterpiece in halo because It explains even more why the bage of arbiter became a mark of shame and the fight sences were very entertaining
Still here! i listen to this soundtrack to free my mind, feel the universe and think into the future. it's so calming, "True Arbiter."

I honestly love the samurai like style this one went with. Well that’s it feels like to me
It is, their is a story of Elite's raiding a human building and when they enter all the humans were asleep so instead of killing them right then and there the Elites waited for the humans to grab their weapons before slaughtering them all.

7:27 this reminds me of that one episode where the entire ninja are fighting against Madara in the Naruto Series
Funny to note, but the Japanese Version, while the same base story. Actually has a few differences between each other. For example:
- The man on the boat is younger and asks Arbiter if this is what he wants to do.
- The Ambush is more of a search party.(Same thing really, but its a small difference)
- The Prophets reasoning for the Arbiter is different.
- Fal and Roh both have wifes, and Fal wants to send his wife to meet Roh's(Likely his way of keeping her out of the fight.)
- The Prophets ordered hit is different.

Oh, this is pretty cool. I haven’t delved into the Sangheili lore, nor do I know much of the Halo lore. But from what I’m getting at here, the Sangheili culture has elements similar to the Eastern cultures such as Japanese and bushido. That’s actually pretty cool. :D
In the original trilogy they seemed more like religious zealots. Similar to muslim and christian fundamentalism. Holy warriors basically. But since halo legends is a Japanese production obviously they're gonna have samurai influences.
But it depends which influence you like best I guess

Even now, almost an entire decade later in my life, I _still_ have to force myself to not cry once _Blade & Burden_ plays, as it shows his wife's body...
*_AND SPEAK OF THE DEVIL! Of COURSE that fucking part would start playing AS I'M TALKING ABOUT IT._*

I actually thought this was arbiter after halo 3 making the covenant return in halo 4 until I saw the terminals in halo 2 anniversary
his actions in this fight weren't for nothing in the end, eventually the arbiter with the swords of sanghelios and humanity brought down the covenant, and its leader died grasping pathetically for his life, while the flood tore his body apart, at least fal went out with dignity, and honor.
Bruh idk why people are hating on the inky style need to get out of here it makes this episode of halo legends one of the most unique and fascinating cartoons I've ever seen.
Legends: Spartans and an Arbiter are able to take on armies of covenants like their flies.
Books: Chief struggles with one low-ranking Brute soldier.
Tbf it is an anime
@@lonewolf9578 A lot of the episodes are anime-styled. This one clearly isn't.

That kind of arbiter is a good guy in halo historic !
Fal Chavamee is the Halo version of 2003 General Grievous.
That would be the halo wars arbiter actually
Takes out whole army but runs into the other elite and fucking dies
The way this arbiter stabbed him makes me think this arbiter just wanted to die I mean I don't blame him, but going for that kind of stab means you're purposely giving him the chance to strike you..
