Yang Sui Oh yes, I mean Revelations, I was thinking about Unity and wrote what I was thinking, not what I meant. But I guess Unity will help my knowledge of Paris too...
Devin, I've been with your channel for about 2 years now. And it's crazy to see how much you as a person and your channel have grown. Congrats on EVERYTHING
Wow! That was amazing!! I live in Germany for 18 years now but I'm from Istanbul and I visit Istanbul every summer and every time this city just fascinates me! And watching this video.. It's just incredible! Thank you so much for that!
And to you. But I am from the UK where Halloween is a lot less celebrated than the USA. so yeah not many sweets for this guy (and yeah we say sweets... Deal with it!) . Happy Halloween!
They generally called "Maraş Dondurmacısı" (Maraş is a city in Turkey, dondurmacısı literally means ice-creamer), so you might search them up and watch some other funny moments!
I have been sitting here for like 30 minutes, trying to come up with something that can descrie my exact opinions on your videos. 'Cause I really wanted to share a bit more than just "Hey, awesome video!" with you. But words fall too short man, which your work obviously is exact proof of. But I just LOVE every single video you post, they just keep getting better, and I get so happy and inspired! So I'm just gonna leave you with a "Keep up the AMAZING work!" And you should really consider going to the Lofoten islands in Norway! It is really just the most incredile mix of mountain and ocean, wildlife, crazy weather, skiing, hiking, rock and ice climbing and not to mention; arctic surfing! Much love xx
In case if you don't know, check out Louis's channel too: FunForLouis. He makes trips to the different countries and cities too, and he also have an Istanbul video too. BTW, Norway is the most beautiful country on the mother-planet, I would love to make a tour for whole scandinavian countries but you know, they are expensive. lol. Istanbul is cheap, though, tourists are always welcomed here!!
I really pitty the Greek and Turkish friends who still act like enemies, (I am turkish by the way) i mean wtf, just because our grantfathers fought, so what. And when you think about it, these two countries has the worst economy and life standarts in the area. Why? Because people are too lazy to work and have warmonger for eachother. Please lets all use our brains and be human.
I never thought to travel to Istanbul until now. You made it beautiful with all the culture and the fun that the market is. Istanbul just made it to my bucket list now.
Nice. A mix of classic DevinSupertramp with the grown up taste of pure cinematography with the right mix of edits timed to the beat of the music. I'll give this a 9.4 for originality.
Great job Devin I'm surprised you don't have enough subscribers I love watching these in HD makes me feel like I'm actually in them. Keep up the good work
Great video and great quality. Was there a specific reason why you guys mainly focused on mosques ? I do understand the importance of cultural religion seens but there are also a lot more wonderful things you could have captured/used like how you can switch to a different continant with an amazing view of Bosphorus in 20 mins. There are also great modern-traditional art galleries, the Dolma Bahce palace, historical Topkapi palace and more. I do respect your work. It is just my observation. Cheers.
Another masterpiece, Devin! Loved the people-selfies shots. This one it's like your greatest techniques and style reel. Amazing project, Turkish Airlines!
Thank you for showing the people beyond your team as well. It's really easy to just view these as other places, but all of these videos make it very clear that we're in many ways no two cities are that different. Also, if you haven't done so, so one of these shoots in London.
Love it!!! I love how you show different cultures in your videos! We can all get along :) I would also love to see you make more videos like this around the world.
Some Maras Ice-Cream men do it. Only Maras Ice-Cream men do it and you can't see every Maras Ice-Cream man do it but it's very funny when the guy does it to you. :D
I LOVED the videography & I thought the music was good. I wondered if music that was more Turkish in flavor might have been a better choice but that being said, I think the whole piece was a wonderful slice of Istanbul! keep 'em coming!
Your guys' videos are so inspiring and beautiful. And the music and views you include just complete the whole package. I wish I could meet you guys in person to thank you for always putting a smile on my face in either amazement or joy whenever I watch these videos :) please dont ever stop making these great works of art!
Another great work. But regrettably I should say, this visuals doesn't totally externalize the "real" Istanbul. Not at all. Because of this kind of works, all people around the world imagine Turkey like Persia or Saudi Arabia. Nothing personal, with all my respect I can say that I love and follow your works. But as I say say, this is not the real Istanbul. And the people we saw in this video are not even the real local people.
I totally agree. This video is a work of art, but as an Arab, I don't think Arabic music should be in this video (or the one about Bali). Turkey has some heart-stopping music herself that would have fit this video better in my opinion.
While not a action video I thought that it was amazing! This one felt a lot more organic and fun then the other city videos you have done, I think largely because this one showed people have fun.
Amazing as always Sir Devin. Looking forward for new awesome videos. These videos just make you feel like you want to go right now and travel to these places to see it all with your own eyes and feel all the joy you get from these wonderful places.
People are probably just annoyed by the fact that it says "Not Constantinople" When it: 1: Was Constantinople for like 3 times as long as it was Istanbul, and 2: It's the same city, its just as much Constantinople as it is Istanbul.
BananasGoMoo it was probably a reference to the song "istanbul not constantinople" but he changed it already anyway so whatever. oh and he never named it "istanbul was never constantinople" so whatever you are saying doesn't make sense cause it's literally no longer constantinople and there's absolutely nothing annoying about that, it's just a fact.
cloudy #1: you're replying to a comment from a long time ago. #2: i don't know the reference. #3: you're nitpicking. saying "well it doesn't say never, and its called that now so deal with it" is like if I told you any music from before the 2000's sucks and since its not current music it doesn't matter, and deal with it. You can't just throw away over 1000 years of history because you don't want to deal with it. If people call it Constantinople, firstly you can't stop them and secondly you can't say its not annoying to them because its true. Religion or war or death, for example, are things that truly exists and are also annoying. Another example is you. you exist and are being quite annoying to me, by making me receive email about a post I completely forgot about. Thanks. I hope you get an email about this. Honestly I don't care about this topic particularly, but I really dislike when people say "you can't do this because its not 'proper' ", so I had to reply to you.
BananasGoMoo well well well aren't you a very condictory person? writing such a long reply about a topic you _don't care_ about and completely ignoring the fact i said "istanbul was contantinople" but just isn't anymore, that's not throwing away history, that's simply accepting the now and the facts. if facts annoy you i can't help it sir. oh and i figured you don't know the reference, it was rather obvious. but i didn't notice how long ago you wrote the comment and i don't care enough to further argue so have a nice day, let's agree to disagree p.s: no one said anything about someone being proper or not? where did that come from?
So, I'm going to assume that you misunderstood me, and you don't actually have sub-par reading comprehension. I do not care about the topic. People can call it Constantinople or Istanbul or Lazors for all I care. I care that people like you fell the need to tell other people they can't call something what they want to because "It's official name is now Istanbul so you have no reason to be annoyed". Its like if people weren't allowed to follow their religion because science is the fact and so religion is banned. I personally would be glad but I'm not here to stop anyone from doing something they like unless its harming someone else. So why do you? To be clear, my original comment answered someone's question asking why people were unhappy with the title, and I said it was probably because plenty of people still call it Constantinople (in fact that's the name of it in Greek still, iirc. Correct me if I'm wrong.) But like I said, it honestly doesn't matter what people call it as long as everyone gets to call it what they want, and the problem I had with the original title made it seem like calling it Constantinople was not okay, which is probably also why he changed it. So, no, I'm not being contradictory. Also please make sure to read my whole comment this time. Thanks.
You needed footage of the landscape and the hot air balloons. I follow people that live Istanbul and the pictures they take of the landscape is beautiful!

Amazing video Devin as usual. I love the incorporation of slow motion along with time-lapse. Have you thought of doing hyperlapse? I am sure you know what hyperlapse is and I hope to see some in the future! Great job and keep it up!
Since I started playing Assassin's Creed, my desire to travel increased greatly, I've made a huge list of places to go, after playing Revelations years ago I made my decision, the first place on my list instantly became Istanbul, I just love it.

That guy serving ice cream should have his own youtube channel! FREAKING AWESOME HILARIOUS!!!

google them you'll find other bunch of funny things :D

Turkey is a great example of diversity living in harmony. the 4K is really amazing..

words cannot define this amazing city , by the way good video .
Im a person that fails to see beauty in everything. Devin's videos have made me realize that. This is absolutely amazing
awesome city
out of all your video, this is my favourite. the music, the timelaps, the footage, incredible
From 2:04-2:11 that guy was hilarious with the ice cream! And the guy doing the stunts with the ball was really awesome!
They generally called "Maraş Dondurmacısı" (Maraş is a city in Turkey, dondurmacısı literally means ice-creamer), so you might search them up and watch some other funny moments!

Hahaha
Fjerid hshahaha
The pigeon scenes were fantastic, I like the dramatic feel.
Welcome to İstanbul in Turkey. 😍 Thanks for best video. 😋
Team Devin Super Tramp never ceases to amaze with their incredible videos.
Now that RUclips allow 60fps, you should record your futur videos in 4K-60FPS ! :D
Who agree with me ? :)
I don't think it does 60 at 4K though, sadly, only at 1080p.
***** Oh that's bad :/ This would be much more epic ! ^^
But I guess we have to wait a little more for RUclips to handle this :p
That would be like a 100GB file xD
Another masterpiece, Devin!
Loved the people-selfies shots.
This one it's like your greatest techniques and style reel.
Amazing project, Turkish Airlines!
This is beautiful. Sad that you didn't put me in the video tho.. We posed to you in the meetup, remember? :(
Did you watch the behind the scenes? That's where most of the footage is, on our second channel.
Yeah I watched it,I wasn't there either but it's okay Devin! Keep up the great work.
So good ! My favorite video about istanbul !
Beautifully shot !!
Amazing!

Lesson learned. Never but ice in Istanbul
I was truly touched by this video. At times I felt like crying(not sad) and others I laughed out loud. The music is perfect and inspiring.
Wow people actually complained about the title enough to make him change it.. Why is society so easily offended for no reason?
haha, yeah, it's the little things I guess.
what was the original title?
Yeah, what was it. Pls answer
lol the song sounded like a bunch of clowns singing, dont get why people raged over it
Great job capturing the emotion of Istanbul!! Your videos always hit hard Team Supertramp!
Been there climbed that. (Only my fellow fans will understand)
Did you get to the pinnacle in under 25 secs? ;)
