Just so you know this video is amazing! Your a great asset to door dash. This has literally been the only way my husband and I are surviving through this pandemic.
The grocery stores in my area sell a lot of wine, so they always have the cardboard six pack carriers that are a little extra tall, collapsible, and free for the taking. Slides perfectly into my thermal cooler which fits snug inside a milk crate attached to the back of my moped.
You always hear the liquor stores (sometimes places like Dollar General even put them out all together for the taking) for moving boxes. I should've thought to check grocery stores too when I started gig delivering.
When I signed up as a DoorDasher I immediately ordered a drink carrier from Amazon. When my son started DoorDashing he spilled a customer's drink in his car and the customer wasn't happy. So I took a cardboard box and made pockets for drinks with foam. I have one right now that I made up and glad I did as my very first order had 2 drinks! Being prepared is a must!
I've bee using this for my Dashing for the last few months. Works great but small drinks can wiggle around in them. Especially if you only have like 4 drinks. I keep two large empty bottles in my car to fill in the next open spots so the drink won't spill over
I made a small carrying caddy out of a shower caddy and hot glued a devider in both sides so now I can Cary 4 drinks ... I cut a pool noodle into about 4 inches in length and the split it down the middle ! I use those to wedge between the wall of the caddy and the drink when it's a small one ! Now I will have to get this one and modify it so I have a larger one too ..... From a GrubHub driver !
My 1099 peeps: keep these recpts, all write offs, including the Velcro tape AND if you have spilled a drink, all cleaning supplies used to clean it up. I’m sure this ↕️↔️has been said before just reiterating bc of the importance of it ⭐️
@Jo Hu Hi, did you ever find out if the car detailing after a mess in your car (ie... wing stop's white sauce) is a write off or not? I'd really appreciate it if you could pass on the info 😁👍
Hey man, I just started doordash yesterday and have only done about 3 hours worth of delivering because I was too nervous to start when I signed up because I've never done deliveries before. Your videos got me the confidence to start and I'm averaging $22 an hour in the University area of Charlotte. Thanks a lot for the videos man!
These videos not only will help you be a better dasher and make that $22, but the life lessons and wisdom will help you become a better professional, with whatever you do.
I just started myself I live outside of Charlotte. I just did a few orders but I NEED THIS CADDY!! I had three huge drinks and thank god I had someone to hold them or the would had tipped over for sure! 😏

I just started yesterday and already made $120 after dashing for 7 hours. Your channel was a huge help for learning my first day. Can’t wait to get in my next 13 orders and get this fast pay set up
Thank you for making us all aware of this important and simple tool. I have been looking for a way to prevent spills from drinks since I started 9 month ago. Nothing I tried seemed to work satisfactorily. Got one 2 weeks ago. I feel sorry for all those customers who ordered drinks that I serviced before I got this caddy. Also, I think it speaks volumes for you that you mention it once in a video and suppliers across the country are out of them and had to backorder them. Bravo.
When I’m a customer I never order drinks. By the time they get to me the ice is mostly melted, the drink is diluted and not really cold. May a pet peeve but I always have my drinks at home. I know the drivers don’t want to fool w drinks anyway.
Thank you for sharing!! My customer drink spilled the other day but luckily it wasn’t much and the customer was very nice about it and didn’t trip at all. Your videos are very helpful. Thanks again. ☺️
I guess it's a good thing I ordered mine from Amazon last month before you sold them out! I use it mostly because so many drinks are too full and overflowing. This prevents sticky drips in my car. Never thought of the Velcro!
I don't know how often you check these comments. I just wanted to let you know that I tried this in my car. I had to improvise because the velcro wouldn't stick to my carpet. But it did stick to the clips that hold my mats down. I'm a bad driver, so this saves drinks, and lives because I can focus on my driving.
Bentley, you the man! I learn so many good tips and tricks from you! There is nobody on RUclips that even comes close to matching your helpful content! I appreciate you.

I buy so many shoes I just cut out different sized holes in a shoe box, put a 5 lb. weight in it. Some lids can rub another lid off so careful y'all and keep space between cups of same size.
Just went to the Amazon website & looked this item up, & it's temporarily out of stock. I think that's a testament to you as an influencer. Great video. Respect.
This is a great idea. I bought a middle console that they put in trucks, in order to carry my drinks. It's heavy, but the drinks don't ever spill. Your idea will lighten my load. Thank you!
Not me spilling my drink as I'm watching this video (not while driving, just doing closed caption work on the desktop at home, might head out in a bit for the lunch rush)! Thanks for your tips. I've only been at this a week, but my town has a Gordon's Food Service where I got some bags while I waited on the welcome package, and I will definitely be looking for something for drinks. One restaurant owner actually made it a point to thank me for putting her food in a thermal bag. I'll check around for a caddy and actually have some VELCRO pieces left from a past project. I will definitely be trying this drink carrier idea. I had some Misfits Market insulation pads left over from lockdown grocery delivery that I've taped together and used if a pizza is bigger than my bag, might make a cover for it later if I don't buy a pizza toter.
Excellent idea...also, a large tray in the seat with a drink holder(mine is a coke caddy) can be used...with a delivery bag...I have enough room in the tray to put the $8 delivery bag sideways...beside the drink caddy that is turned sideways. Great video...I might actually purchase one one of these to have drink caddies...sometimes there are quite a number of drinks on piggyback orders. Thanks for sharing🙂
You have legit thought of EVERYTHING there is too Dashing! My first day is today. Hope I can do as excellent of a job as the seasoned Dashers. I’m super hooked on this channel thats for sure. I got MINT downloaded - prep’d myself for what ifs - knowing the do’s and don’ts just from a handful of your vids !
Great idea... I use my door dash bag to sit the drinks in... I place the drinks in that card board carrier inside the bag and place drinks in it... so t least if it spills, it spills in the bag... so far it works. The most I had to carry was 6 drinks.. Will be looking into this.ad usual great tips.
GENIOUS! Best drink caddy yet! I plan on leaving mine in place, except for when cleaning/sanitizing, because the 2nd reason this idea rules is that it forces me to place the drinks closer to my line of sight(!) never FORGET a customer's drink again!🙂🙃🙂
I've been doing this "hack" since I started dashing earlier this year. Surprised this wasn't well known. Then again, ive used one of these for work(sprays and lubricants), so it was a natural "hmm" moment.
I have one that I bought from Amazon and it actually sits on the front seat and it attaches to the seat really easily so you don't have to worry about it falling over and the reason I like it is you don't have to worry about the floor being hot
I bought one of those rubbermaid trays when I first started dashing and the second or third day of dashing it came in handy big time. I highly recommend it.
Wowww thank you so much for sharing your hacks. My husband does Doordash, and I've been looking for something to buy him to put in the car for large drink deliveries. 😊
Thank you for this video! I just ordered two caddies like this on Amazon and they do best..I believe so I will keep a permanent one on my floor and the other one I will see if I can just lift it out and in with the drinks? I also orders some insulated cozies that were pretty cheap on Amazon the give the drinks a buffer? I ordered some stickers that say thank you and I can write on them who the drinks go to..I did a stacked order and was worried I would get the drinks mixed up!! I did my first DoorDash yesterday and it was really weird and I’m so glad I didn’t screw it up lol! Thanks for this tip because I bought this big food carrier and it has these drink holders in the side and they were not sitting up straight! Caused me all kinds of worry!! This is sooo helpful! Thank you!
Looks great! To be extra safe I would wedge some clean hand towels or t-shirt/etc. in the empty spaces so the drinks don't have a chance to tip over inside the caddy
This is a great tip!! When I arrive at the restaurant with multiple drink orders, I take them out the cup carrier and put them in my cup holders to prevent spills, I have quite a few in my truck, but I like this idea better ! Ty Bentley...❤

Solved a problem for me!!! A drink caddy that holds a lot of drinks is literally the last thing I really need for my Door Dashing adventures. Thank you!!!
Awesome video man. You thoroughly explained your process for keeping drinks safe on delivery. I'm a new Uber Eats driver with 2 recent spills. Greatly appreciate it!!!
I cut 3 inch holes in a sterilite tote lid, 4 gallons, holds 6 drinks, take the lid off and can hold big orders. Also a micro orange car detailing towels to keep the tote dry. The caddy is also great, mine does not have a carry handle. It is small enough to fit in the passenger side foot well. Also placed a bathroom mat down on passenger side, cover my seat with a beach towel. Image is everything in this business.
I made a carrier out of a shower caddy .... I cut a pool noodle to 4 inches and split it down the middle and wedge it in between the wall and the drink to hold in place
My guy! This is fucking amazing. I just recently spilled a huge Hi-C drink all over my seat and it pissed me off. And a few weeks ago I had six LARGE drinks from a local Chinese spot and that was a nightmare to carry. I'm going to buy all this stuff now. Thank you so much for this hack.
Yo @BentleyKoupe! Thank you! I started doing doordash in CLT after the pandemic got me laid off, and thanks to your video, I'm not going back! I consistently make over 8 a week thanks to the gospel you spread! Thank you!
I bought one, but smaller drinks fall over...so I cut a few inches off the bottom of Taco Bell cups. They fit perfect and now keep all size cups upright.
I've just started and im obsessed with preparing my car like someone would set up their new office. Ive gotten my oil changed, new tires and interior and exterior detailed and plan to do that once a month to keep it fresh. I went out and bought window shades for the back seat windows and the rear window (i have a hatchback) im going to buy a Rubbermaid cargo mat for the cargo area and get a pet screen to sort of divide the cargo area from the rest of my car. Ive bought cooler bags, ice packs and keep a stock of gloves and mask to keep on hand. Maybe im being neurotic but I like to be prepared. This hack is right up my alley!!
You don't use a vehicle you care about... spending all that money a month on tires and detailing is making your gig moot. What's the point of wearing your car down if you are going to turn around detailing it every month? Just wash it in an auto wash 😅😅😅
This is awesome! Randomly in my feed. Went from a 6 drink carrying monster f150 to a barely carrying 2 drinks Grand Cherokee. Def going to order one when I get some more $
Your content is inspirational! People say that DD is not a real job - FUCK that. It's an opportunity! Grind, save, and then invest that money into a passion or a business. That's how I'm approaching my DD journey. Thanks man!
Oh my God that's a great idea I actually have one of those carry caddy I put cleaning supplies in at my house and I don't even really use it cuz cuz they're getting supplies that I barely used
I have been taking various notes on things from yourself and others doing this kind of work. My two cents for those here in the US, I have found the Dollar Tree to have economic "Dollar Tree" resources sometimes. But going with quality brand name things you can rely on - nothing beats reliability. Also, if you know of someone who works in the tech industry, get them to come home with some foam packaging of some kind for buffering vibrations during deliveries, and that along with various bubble wraps for thermal insulation. It's for electronics - it is very clean materials to be repurposed - good mega-score on resources. :)
You sir are a frigging genius! I've been begging fast food places for extra drink holders and they really aren't that great. Customers always want to keep them too. This should cure all of those issues. Now if you could only help me with the scheduling issues that seem to plague my area.
Thanks for this. Really helpful! Id din't think I would need it in a small town, but I got my first order with four drinks a couple of days ago. This tray and velcro would have been great to have. About to get on this now!
I have a series of different size cardboard boxes, a cooler to fit to-go boxes, and various counterweights to anchor all products I deliver. Your carrier is awesome!
Thank you for this...Literally stopped at a smoothie place and was handed two of the biggest cups of smoothies and a cup of soup. I just placed my order for this caddy. Thank you for looking out.
Thanks for the tips.😉 I use a leg weight on the diagonal(2 leg weight in total) to keep it from tipping and the velcro. I notice the Velcro messes up the more you pull it on and off. Velcro is cheap so you can buy a roll and just change when needed.
Hey, everyone whos saying amazon is sold out, I googled the product from Bentley's link and it says my local homedepot has a few right in stock according to google shop. Check there, I know I'm stopping by mine before my dashes today :)
I'll never forget the first time i had more than 2 drinks. That one order made me rethink dashing
for real

I have that carrier and it is awesome....Carry a few rags to tuck around the smaller drinks to keep them in place
I made a carrier out of a shower caddy .... I cut a pool noodle to 4 inches and split it down the middle and wedge it in between the wall and the drink to hold in place
Thank you so much. Very helpful not only in deliveries but own personal drinks. Hot coffee on your lap isnt fun! Thank you for the tip!!!
Just one more brilliant idea I can tell people to check out when they ask about my "ALREADY READY" t-shirt!
Dude, you are so funny!! And real ... i’ve been there I would start spilling. that’s why I like watching your videos so much.. thanks for your help..
Omg I think it's a cleaning caddy. I never even thought about that!!!! Awesome! Thank you for your ideas. I'm gonna try that.
I got one at target the cleaning caddy rocks thank you
Been looking for something like this. Thank you!!
Thanks man!
I was just talking myself today I need a cup. Everybody running out of cup holders
I got a soft cooler designed for drinks, holds 6, keeps cold cold or hot hot.
I like this trick , doordash have drinks carry for 14$ but i can easily see it's only made for small cups only , thank you Bentley
Thanks for this. Really helpful! Id din't think I would need it in a small town, but I got my first order with four drinks a couple of days ago. This tray and velcro would have been great to have. About to get on this now!
That's some serious drink holder & velcro! Genius bro
have a small cooler and use newspaper to stuff around cups to stabilize
I have a series of different size cardboard boxes, a cooler to fit to-go boxes, and various counterweights to anchor all products I deliver. Your carrier is awesome!
Thank you very much. I just started and I want to do my best in keeping a good rating.
just paused to order the caddy. itll be here tomorrow. thank u
This is great tip, but in Australia they they taper the whole delivery food and drink together. So I can't take out the drink to place it anywhere
Thank you for this...Literally stopped at a smoothie place and was handed two of the biggest cups of smoothies and a cup of soup. I just placed my order for this caddy. Thank you for looking out.
That's very interesting being a new doordash driver I hate drinks with a passion but I can reassure this video helped me a lot thanks a lot
Thanks for the tips.😉
I use a leg weight on the diagonal(2 leg weight in total) to keep it from tipping and the velcro. I notice the Velcro messes up the more you pull it on and off. Velcro is cheap so you can buy a roll and just change when needed.
I haven't been on YT in a min...but I see those 33k subs.you moving up homey...good shit!
Hey, everyone whos saying amazon is sold out, I googled the product from Bentley's link and it says my local homedepot has a few right in stock according to google shop. Check there, I know I'm stopping by mine before my dashes today :)
I use a rubber shower mat like grandma use to have as a floor mat for the drink caddy
Got that caddy in a day on Amazon $11 🙌 and got a insulated bag to fit it in case my man has to keep a bunch of drinks hot or cold. Thank you
Brilliant! I wonder if you could even fashion some sort of “top” for the caddie to help keep the drinks cold. Maybe out of Mylar, etc. Cool idea.
