Market dependent. I'd love to be able to start at 6/7 and be done by 5. But... all I would accomplish is sitting around until 11 and be lucky to make $20 - even on ebt. 😅
I liked the part of you showing your human side. You can be positive to the point you’re robotic. Nobody says DoorDash has to be perfect, but still display some emotion to show you’re still a driver like us 🙏🏿
This is definitely a fact couldn’t agree more! Sometimes it feels like door dash is paying you to show us all the rainbows but we all know with them rainbows also comes the bullshit they try to pull. Don’t play one side play both and keep it real!
I love the video. I love the reality that sometimes you get frustrated. That’s reality of Doordash. Every order can’t be amazing. Almost at 18,000 deliveries and I have been watching you from the beginning you inspire me. You’re the best thank you for your videos.
Your strategy of earned by time and then switching when you’re above 75 is an amazing strategy. I’ve been using it all the time now cause I work just mornings and late nights Monday through Saturday and Sunday all day so I make sure my acceptance rate is super high and then Sunday Afternoon and evening just get huge orders by being platinum and having that cushion to reject the terrible orders and stay in the expensive restaurant area. I’ve used your strategy the last month and it’s really working love Doordash. I love your videos.
Yes, Doordash has changed since 2019 and 2020 but everything can’t stay the same. You have to adapt and keep on going. You can still make lots of money and be able to free and travel when you want. I am thankful for Doordash and for your videos.
I have given up on EBT. I can't decline orders and I get all those orders that no honorable EBO dasher would accept. My New Years was a good day earning $140 on 7 hours of work.
Big ups to you. I thank you for your insights of inputs to help other dashers. When I first started I was clueless. I seen your channel and follow your tips. I have improve. You are a inspiration. Thanks again for sharing. Let's get it dashers. Bing! Bing! New year. New you. New big money 🤑. Be safe on the road and your surroundings. Make that money, but don't let it make you like old girl quoted in the movie the players club.😅
1. New Year 2. New Thoughts 3 . New Strategies 4. New Emotions 5. New minimum 6. New Blackouts 7. New Ratings 8. New Orders 9. New Money 10. New Me If ya know, ya know.
I appreciate what Bentley does it’s very challenging. I choose to multi App DoorDash is my last choice I have been a dasher going on 8 years now. I use to average $5 per order plus 1 a mile plus tips
Bent thank you so much for the tip on using Earn by time. I am in south Florida. Over the holidays I missed some days and when I did work I watched my AR drop from 83% to 59%. I been doing Earn by time the last 2 days and I’m back at 65%. I’m gonna keep doing it to provide “padding” and “ rinse my ratings”. I learn a lot from your videos. ❤
I keep my own a few points over 70%; this allows me the padding to decline $3.50 offers for 10.4 miles (real offer). The extra points allow me to decline w/o losing Platinum Dasher.
I loved how you shared about the emotional part of it and the strategies. Could you share about the car maintenance. I’ll look if you have videos but that’s what keeps me from doing more.
I agree you have to set a goal and stay focused. In my area multiple (5-7) dasher sit at the popular hotspot that usually have the higher tips making it hard for others to get good paying offers.
2:31 this doesn’t really apply in “apartments“ per se, for me. But them hotels? Oh boy, them hotels, specifically in the elevators, let me tell you. 😅🤷🏿
6:45 thought I was the only one who called those types of orders “Charity work.“ Never did earn by time, it always seemed like a scheme to get all of those non-tippers their food when people like me would otherwise decline.
All Blood pressure tips are appreciated! I’ve still never been asked to pour a drink, but just to grab like a bottled OJ area soda from a fridge. Which I don’t mind that.
5.0 customer rating, 100 % completion, 98% on time or early, 93% acceptance only because I didn't have time to review the fairness of the order. I haven't declined anything and they STILL disrespect by sending me out of my zone so I can only get 1 delivery during peak time promotions. They need to take care of their drivers. If it wasn't for us there is no way the customer can be taken care of. Got a thumbs up in each of the four customer feedback categories with no thumbs down and they still threaten with deactivation for 4.2 and under. Ungrateful....
You should know this, and look at this way imho: (I'm also a driver) DD doesn't give af about you. You are an inconvenience that they are FORCED to pay a portion of their profit to, until they can figure out a way to eliminate you all together. They genuinely don't care if you do a good job. They have no interest in pleasing customers. Customers have no choice anymore. DD has put all of the competition out of business here in 2025 (if not they soon will in your area). So you have no choice to go work for someone else doing this job. Take ONLY the orders that you WANT to take. And don't fall for the "do a good job and you will be rewarded" scam. It's a LIE. You are an inconvenience to their corporate bottom line. They are biding their time and paying you the MINIMUM they can get away with until they can replace you all with drones. I hate to be the one to say it but it's just the truth. I sincerely hope you have success my friend.
@@ks5553 thank you for saying this bcuz buddy is delusional 😂 like why the fuck are you going out your way to make DD look good. Use the platform dont let the company with Bangladesh represenattives use you.
I don't think I have a strategy and I probably should have one. 😂 I am Platinum and normally do hourly pay because I make between $20-$25/hr. I also make these little baggies with 2 mints and a little note thanking them for their order, that they are helping me reach my goals as a full-time, first-time college student in my 50s, and ask them to take a minute to rate their experience in the app. It barely costs me anything to do, adds value to their experience, and usually get at least 3-4 customers a day that add an extra $2-$5 in tips. I need better metrics, though.
Oh I’m most definitely saying “I’m not going to..” to the places I know that’s gonna waste my time and know the money is hot boo boo! Wingstop..I’m talking to you! 😂😂
I dash in cali and currently platinum, however every order here is either Hella far or the order is 4.50 and under. The only thing that helps here is we get prop 22 extra pay every Monday. My new years resolution is to quit delivering doordash and focus on my Boutique 😊
I tried EBT in my market. Nah, I'm good. EPO all day every day. What I always find funny is so many dashers get to their AR up to get highest access. Yet, it turns into no one getting it due to too much saturation. So cherry picking and focusing on my on all my other metrics it shall continue to be.
@@DoordashDiaries That's not what I'm saying. What I said was I tried EBT in my area. Got sent two back to back orders that were high milage. So I'm gonna stick with EPO. Then, the tier programs get too much saturation to where no one gets the highest access to the best orders. All of that hard work for nothing. And lastly, I didn't say this in my last comment. They had Quadra-stacked promos in north Jersey on New Year’s Eve into the morning. At one point it was +$6 per order. I was dead tired having worked the W2 job and then 9 hours of dashing, but was not about to give up those $15-25 McDonald’s orders for 5 miles of driving.😂 Was doing well with alcohol up until midnight but little did I know it would get even better. Torrential rain brought out even more orders. Only downside was the McDonald’s and other restaurants that were still open were swamped and you waited about 10 minutes for the order. But for $4+ per mile who cares.
