Hearing In Circles live is a spiritual experience. I saw them in San Francisco in 1998, it was the first song of the show, and it was glorious! Ringing, soaring, perfect. So stoked they are back!
I'm seeing them on the 20th! I saw them once when I was 16, 20 years ago. Went alone. Smoked hash with a young hippie couple I met and spent a good portion of the show laying on top of a huge monitor by the stage, feeling the music.

Part of them left to play for foo fighters. But this band is so much more. So underrated. Amazing they are back. Thinking of flying from Europe to see them play in sf . Amazing
They’re playing a show in August in the burned out heart of Portland, Oregon. First saw them blocks away at the Satyricon in 1994. Talk about a full circle moment!!!
Honestly not early at all. I was there by myself since it was a road trip show. I got pretty close during the opener and then between the opener and SDRE it thinned out as people went out to smoke or whatever.
I can't understand why a band like this needs 3 guitars. If it's exaggerated even for iron maiden, imagine it for them. It's a lot of instrument for little music. The guys play well but that's it.
