    The greatest shot blocking guard ever. D-Wade's a legend. He never gave up on a play and always went after it. Even some plays he was too far, too late, had no reason to chase the block yet he did a and still managed it. I remember years ago watching Dwayne Wade and just being impressed. He brought motivation back.

    He got some hops but I'd credit that blocks to his timing. Dude was a guard swatting big men's easy layups. He times those shots almost like he has an alarm lol.Dwade was always an underrated defender! Top 3 SG all time easy.

    • @remnant24
      @remnant24 4 года назад +9

      It's not really hops-Wade's vert was only slightly above average for a SG. Defensive talent aside, what tipped the scale is his 7.25% wingspan which puts him at the same standing reach as Vince Carter, Wade's advantage being you don't expect to be blocked by a 6'4" frame as much as a a 6'7" one so you take less evasive measures.

    Wade is a real beast in his prime. Compare his first 8 years against kobe's, You'll see that wade's was better.
    Wade's career PER>kobe's career PER.
    Wade efficiency>kobe's efficiency.
    Assists, rebounds, steals and to top it off, He is the best shot blocking guard of all time.
    If it were not for injuries, and the 2011 tomfoolery by Lebron this guy would have been the closest thing to MJ & would have had 4 rings and 2 finals mvps. Also, how this man never won a mvp baffles me to this day.
    Even though I love kobe and admire him, wade had a better prime, kobe's career had more endurance.

      @marvinschmid 5 лет назад +7

      *2.2 stls, 1.3 blks, 5 rebs and 7.5 asts according to Basketball Reference
      Only argument for LBJ in my opinion are his extremely high Win Shares at 20.3 compared to DWade's 14.7. Otherwise DWade's numbers look amazing and better than LBJ's, but I think the league wanted to slowly start the shift from Kobe to LBJ after Kobe had won his MVP the season prior. LBJ was to be the new young face of the NBA even tough Kobe was still very much in his prime, but they anticipated a decline sooner than later. DWade wasn't going to be the new face of the league being three years older than LBJ, so they decided to boost LBJ

    Dwade is the true GOAT, i put money on him against jordan in his prime, Prime DWade would beat prime Jordan, plus DWade was way more explosive, tenacity, speed, aggressiveness, he played with a monster heart out there, the only player i see play with a similar heart drive is westbrook n recently Donavan Mitchell, but neither of them still didn't match up to what wade was doing, he never lacked on neither side of the ball, n his clutch gene is the greatest, with full confidence i will say DWade is the clutchest player in history, it wasn't anything he couldn't do when he gets the ball in his hands, people claim he couldn't shoot 3s but i saw that he was actually good at 3s he just barely attempted them because he knew no one could stop him from driving to the hoop so he rather take the for sure basket, He's a pure winner not a blow torch🔥💯👑 n when its clutch time oh you better believe that he was dropping all the 3s he wanted n needed, i watched every game he ever played, ik his real potential n its true goat status but now its time for him to go enjoy his life with that sexy azz Gabrielle union😂😍

    6'4, 220lbs, quick, athletic, 6'11 wingspan with large hands. Wade was really a small forward in the disguise of a 2.

      saturndual32 wade a better team player I agree and I'll take 2001 prime Iverson over Kobe to! That was the greatest season I seen by a shooting guard because he didn't have help offensively but his hustle on defense made his teammates become hustlers like him! But! unstoppable

    The way I feel about wade on the defensive end is the same way I feel about westbrook dunking on the offensive end
