  • Add foaming capability to your existing “keg sprayer”. Some people may call it a “hillbilly fix” but for only $10, I call it a success !!!
For those wishing to add dual functionality to their “KEG SPRAYER,” here is my $10 process.
First, you will need to replace the gas post with a liquid post while leaving the short dip tube intact. A hose will be connected to the short dip tube later.
Second, measure and cut a hose to proper length so it reaches from the top of the short dip tube to the indentation in the bottom of the keg. The hose I used is Kuri-Tec with an inside diameter of 1/4”. Hose is only $1 a foot.
Third, insert a needle thru the hose approximately 2 1/4 inches down from the top of the hose. The needle goes thru both sides of the hose. Before inserting needle thru hose, heat needle up. Rotate the hose around the needle so the rubber hose does not stick to the needle.
Fourth, connect the hose to the dip tube. Isopropyl alcohol helps. It fits snug. I did not need to add a fastener.
    Spray Gun Setup :
    Spay gun : 22650-PP-1/4
    Filter : 8079-PP-100 $0.91
    Spray Tip : 5500-PPB-X22 $7.76
Felt Pad inserted in spray tip. Buy an 8x11 sheet of felt pad at Hobby Lobby for $0.39.
You can see felt thru the holes in the top of the spray tip. Felt pad will occasionally need to be replaced as it will get dirty and clog.
For those with a Marolex pump foamer, this is similar to their design but adapted to the keg.
Foam setup cost less than $10 which includes
spray tip, felt pad and hose.
I filled my 2.5 Gallon Keg w 120oz water & 6oz DIY RW with keg filled to 105psi. As tested, it runs for approximately 6 minutes with minimal waste.

I thank you so much for posting this. I’ve been watching so many videos on these detail foamers that gotta be so easy to make your own. That’s what I figured. It was just a pinhole in the tube to inject air into the mixture. Thank you so much for making this video.

@@iKegDetail2 wonder what detail kegs superfoamer uses? they must have a small hole in the tube as well or some kind of foam generator?

Remove the LONG DIP TUBE and use that as a guide but add an inch or two. Make adjustments from there

4-6 oz of RW per gallon depending on foam thickness desired. Typically, I only foam when taking vehicle to DIY carwash as prespray before power wash. Then I go home and do RW. For extra cleaning power, I add an oz of APC and reduce RW by an ounce. And charge the keg to 110psi.

Where did you buy your keg? Did you have to change the gasket and o rings to get more PSI or did you use what came with it. How much PSI DID YOU PUT into the keg? Thanks for all the information.
