    Hassan talking about giving away money and accepting that it’s lost is basically what my uncle always taught me. Only give out money if you’re prepared to lose it. That’s not him being cynical and saying never help, rather that if you’re helping a friend out of a tough time, give and understand that you won’t expect it back.

      I think that's a good philosophy or mindset to have overall. I think in this situation tho, there was a rule or routine for these girlies of, one person uses the card and everyone chips in their part. So yes it's a good mindset, but the problem is just that this wasn't how these situations go for their group. I agree with you tho I think it's responsible, but also sometimes you're allowed to expect it back. Especially if it's a lot of money and you weren't supposed to actually pay for it, just cover it temporarily. I see u bro but also I've payed my friends back at a restaurant i think this is absolutely valid, if u can't pay back $200 on dinner, don't spend $200 of someone ELSE'S money lmfao girl said robbery time

    The whole let her pay when she can pay, or make payments, is absurd. She should never have spent that much at dinner if she couldn't have paid for it then and there. The fancier the restaurant, the less likely they are to split the bill. Also, if you give someone money/pay for something for someone, your best bet is to just count that money gone. Valuable lesson I was taught young. "Never give more than you know you're absolutely comfortable completely losing"

  • @JackDespero
    @JackDespero 9 месяцев назад +3

    First of all, whoever invites someone is responsible for that person. If your guest misbehaves, that is YOUR responsability. If your guest does not pay, that is YOUR responsability. Never in a million years would I let a friend of mine leave another friend of mine unpaid. I would pay it myself even if that meant eating pasta for the rest of the month. At least I would explain the situation to them, not leave them in a limbo. "Listen, I will pay you if you really want the money right now. I will have to make some sacrifices to get it, but I can have it tomorrow. I am so sorry for the situation. I do not know what happened". I would never be able to show my face in public otherwise. What the fuck is wrong with people?
    Second of all, if you are so strap for money that you cannot pay 240 dollars for a meal the next day, what the fuck are you doing spending 240 dollars for a meal??? Hello??? We are clearly not talking about a group of friends who are in a financial struggling situation, if they have a casual meal worth of 240 dollars per person.
    Third, getting someone to pay and then repaying that person is super common everywhere. And if you do not want to do it, JUST SAY IT. It is not that fucking hard.

    This whole idea of paying back friends for the cost of a meal over cashapps seems really bizarre to me anyway. When I would go out with friends, the way it always worked (if everyone didn't just pay their own at the time), is that one of us would pick up the bill. The next time, someone else would pay since their meal was paid for previously. There was no calculation of anything owed. These are friends, not business associates. If they were just going to take, and never contribute, they wouldn't be my friends to begin with. Same thing applies to me.

    The tube stuff is so dumb. This is what kids want to be when they grow up. Building confidence, are you kidding me? It's just another form of irl streaming. Just cause it's a tik tok it doesn't make it different.

      @@uzumakisunshine1303 I didn’t once put the blame on her. Learn how to read. She openly admitted that she offered to pay because she wanted credit card points. She did it out of greed. Doesn’t mean that person should stiff her but she wasn’t acting in good faith. Try a little harder next time big guy.
