German researcher Jörg Baberowski said, “The enemy is everywhere. Stalinism in the Caucasus "wrote that" in the middle of 1918, the Dashnak officer Stepan Lalayev, following the official instructions of the commune, attacked the Shamakhi region. About 30,000 people were brutally killed or expelled from the city. Lalayev's soldiers brutally killed the elderly, children and women. The soldiers set fire to mosques and burned women and children alive.
Another foreign traveler who was in Baku at the time said that only Armenians who attacked Azerbaijani neighborhoods killed people, dismembered them with swords, drilled holes with bayonets, set fire to houses, threw children into burning houses and burned them alive. there was no mercy for the child, the old man, or the woman. These massacres lasted until September 15, 1918, when the Islamic army entered Baku.
Ah yes stalinism, isn't stalin the guy who gave you Karabakh before Azerbaijan shipped in a bunch of azeris to live there? I love how everyone recognizes land that belongs to someone based off of the guy who committed Holodomor (3rd most severe genocide in the world against Ukrainians) and one of the most oppressive dictators of our time and we listened to him? I don't deny that Armenia did screwed up things during this time but so did the Azeris, don't forget Sumgait Pogrom, and most of those azeris today who were deported back never even lived in Karabakh in the first place, Azerbaijan put those citizens in trouble because when they were given jurisdiction by Stalin to gain Karabakh they wanted to make sure to destroy the Armenian majority so it wouldn't cause future problems, which they almost did making the lowlands of Karabakh into azeri majority while the highlands, now called Nagorno-Karabakh or Artsakh stayed as Armenian majority. I wish we didn't deport those azeris or do Khojaly and just give back the 7 districts but Azerbaijan tried to destroy our culture, and it wasn't the first time. They did the same in Nakhchivan when Heydar Aliyev destroyed hundreds of Armenian churches, thousands of Vratchkars (Engraved cross statues) and tens of thousands of Armenian grave stones in order to destroy the history and make sure that their ethnic majority will give them right to own that land. And now today Azerbaijan is still destroying churches, Holy mother of God church was totally demolished and left looking like nothing was even built there. Azerbaijan goal from the beginning was to destroy culture and history because culture and history supported the Armenian cause.
I wish you could talk about the massacres the Armenians committed to our Azerbaijani brothers. In addition, the evidence of these massacres has been documented and proven to the united nations.
And here’s the first war. Enjoy!

It is important to remember that contrary to the map in this video, so called "Artsakh" was never an independent state, they just claimed themselves to be. It always was a part of Azerbaijan, it became an autonomous part of Azerbaijan during USSR times. If every minority was an independent state, we would have thousands of countries. For example, there are more Azeris living Iran than in Azerbaijan proper, around 20 million. By that logic they should be independent too.
Not simply every nation should or shouldn't be independent state. It's whether they want or could. If those Azeris want to be independent, why not. If they don't, there's no law to force them to.

Qarabağ a part of Azerbaijan 🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿
Oh great azeris have used ISIS terrorists and turkish soliders and Armenia fought alone so....
