I recently ordered Factor while I recovered from a total knee placement. I've never used a meal delivery service before and I was impressed with Factor (even used a discount code from the KetoTwins channel). Like Emily said, their cauliflower mash is delicious (always left me wanting more). My husband is not Keto and he found their meals delicious and well as satisfying.

I relate to this so, so much. I just hit 100 lbs down officially last week. I had a bawling jag, it seems surreal. My doctor is super happy, she wants me to lose another 50 then maintain...I have been fat my whole life. It seems everything has changed, and nothing has changed, too. I have this weird fear: who will I be, if I am not the fat, funny one? It's like I built a lot of my personality and image around my size. Sometimes I wonder who I am now. But, I am exploring things I'd never tried before, and wearing beautiful clothes is so fun. I do know one thing, I am NEVER going back! I'm terrified someday of getting a rogue noodle or Cheeto snuck into my food, because I am militant about no cheats. I even told my power of attorney that if I become incapacitated, I need special keto meals in the hospital...hahaha. Anyway, love your videos as always. You both are so warm, real and engaging.

What an accomplishment! And your rogue noodle or Cheeto snuck in your food concerns made me laugh. You really are about ‘no cheats’. You’d wake up from a coma to see what they were putting in your IV bag. 😉. Those last 50 pounds don’t stand a chance against your determination.

At 63 I’ve been on this journey almost a full year and had great support however I was recently at my office and walked into another room with 6 co-workers and my broker when someone who had not seen me all year said OMG are you ok? You’ve lost like 100 lbs. your not sick are you? I’m down 70 plus pounds and everyone else has said how great I look but this was so frustrating! She did text an apology later that nice but I would never blurt that out to someone. Anyway I’ve moved on! Lol Also my Dr took me off blood pressure meds and my A1c now is normal!

I'm using my old "fat pants" while I'm renovating my bathroom (being smaller has made it so much easier to squat inside the shower to remove grout compared to 18 months ago when fat me renovated the grout in our other bathroom). My phone dragging down my old trousers was actually quite dangerous cos I was walking down stairs and my hands were full so I couldn't pull them up. And I just recently got my first-ever labs done, and a descriptive word my doctor used in his report was "excellent". So my body is in good shape. When I was younger and thin and was attractive I got a lot of my self esteem from my looks and when I got older then I started gaining weight I became invisible to people. I also became invisible to myself to where I lost touch with who I was. I journal more now to help with my feelings. I am twenty lbs away from my goal but that’s just a number that holds very little meaning to me now but I will get there, I just want to find the deep down me I used to be before I stopped caring about myself. When I realized I am more than my physical looks and weight. I know my worth now the weight loss is secondary. I still will take one day at a time and work on the triggers that caused me to gain weight in the first place. I’m a work In progress.

Great video. I'm 63, started Keto and IF a year ago, lost 75 pounds in 5 months and have kept it off. I was looking for weight loss and an anti-inflammatory diet. Keto fits the bill.
The anti-inflammatory benefits are what keep me on Keto. My ezcema is gone. No pain in my knee. I went for a hike today - no huffing and puffing. No asthma!
I thought I would splurge on a beautiful new wardrobe. I did have to buy all new clothes, but bought smaller versions of the same kind of clothes I always wore.🙂 Literally, the same jeans I've worn for decades.
The hardest thing is eating at someone's house when they have us over. I feel like I'm one of "those" people. I can always find something Keto in a restaurant. I've traveled quite a bit and stayed on Keto.
I have no problem with others eating whatever they want around me. That makes it easier for my husband and our adult kids to support me.

Hey girls, you are fabulous! I lost 350 lbs 20 years ago after surgery. I kept it off except for a 12 lb gain during the big c shut down. I can assure you all the things you talked about happening after we loss happens. I could not believe how much nicer people, strangers, were after I lost the wt. My biggest problems I'm still fighting is automatically buying clothing in XXL, even though now, I actually need a medium shirt.
I started keto in hopes of improving my health and had immediate improvements in my body, less pain, clearer brain and I've lost 30 more lbs in 3 months. I am within 45 lbs of my "perfect" weight. Sounds like a lot, but considering I started at 600, not bad. I too check chairs and booth sizes in fear of not fitting. Even after 20 years it takes a long time to undo a lifetime of psychological damage.

My issue is mentally dealing with the aftermath of how damaging the weight was to my body. I look like a deflated balloon in some areas. I am absolutely glad I lost the weight, but how badly it wrecks your body becomes very clear when you become thinner. I’m at a soft goal now, fine where I am but would be happy to lose 10-15 more. I’m just riding the keto wave to see where it takes me from here, intuitively eating, being aware of what and how much I eat, and doing fun exercise regularly.

I so agree with all you said. We cannot have a "When my ship comes in" mentality that reaching a goal weight will land us in an entirely different environment. It does not bring better mental health, improved relationships or a better work environment. All our non food skills will do that. It has been said we loose weight to get healthy, but in reality we get healthy to lose weight. If we are not changing our self talk, encouraging others and thinking positive; weight loss will not help. If we do not reach out, keep in tough, plan to spend time and improve our relationships; losing weight will not be the magic we may have convinced ourselves of. Our new leaner self will still have the same home, neighbors, daily routine, and work schedule as the person who lives in that newly lighter weight body.
So look at weight loss as just another blessing or a goal reached or a milestone achievement of having lost _______# of pounds. Your weight after loss is a testimony of newly aquired skills that helped you to get that body.
Take the new body with all the lose skin, and changing shape and use the same personal pep-talk talks and self care to managing, caring and improving the body you currently live in.
God bless you 2, and all your followers. Enjoy the journey~ stay strong and Keto-On!

You two are my ABSOLUTE heros!
As of today, over the past YEAR (12 months), I have lost 102 pounds, and am still 80 pounds from "goal." But my goal isn't about weight. My keto adventure started because I was told about keto by a co-worker and that night came home and started to watch RUclips videos. However, after watching of a couple of weeks, I realized that keto was not JUST about weight loss, it was about getting healthy . . . being able to get my blood sugar under control and get off the daily regimen of insulin and the metformin.
I spent 40 years of my life on the "Low-Fat" dieting yo-yo, starving myself to lose the weight only to watch the weight go up when I hit my "goal" and stopped the starvation. Like many others, I had tried almost everything . . Weight Watchers (lost 103 pounds), HGH injections at a weight clinic (almost died) and a million other attempts at weight loss, only to gain it all back when I had to stop at my "goal weight".
This time, I don't have a goal weight. I have a "health goal." Between the years of yo-yo dieting binging afterward, my body is not a temple., so to speak. In my case, I can't have a goal weight. What I will consider hitting a goal, is when the endocrinologist tells me my blood sugar is successfully being managed with diet and takes me off all the pills and injections. Thus far, I have cut my daily metformin dosage in half, cut my daily insulin by two thirds (2/3) and totally dropped a beta blocker and a diuretic because my high blood pressure is now normal. Until then, I use keto food planning and daily fasting, continue working, walking, bicycling and enjoying my life, until I can celebrate the end of all the medication.
I will forever be on keto, and I am overjoyed at that. For 40 years of my life I denied myself cheese, cream, "fatty" meats, shrimp, etc. because the doctors told me fatty food is BAD are over. I love my food choices now, and since I only eat when I am hungry, my total calorie count is staying down without any cravings.
BTW, I am REALLY looking forward to a special prize I purchased for myself to celebrate in. I bought a XXL "Technically Keto" t-shirt, which is hanging where I look at ii every day, and I know, one day I will be able to fit into it comfortably. When I do, I will post a picture on the Facebook group. BTW, I'm sorry for the long post. 0.0

A1C in normal range from pre-diabetic, arthritis is gone, inflammation gone, blood pressure low to normal, my energy is higher and I feel like I am 40 vs 60. My weight loss has slowed down A LOT, but I feel too good to go back to the way I was which means eating how I used to eat. The biggest thing for me is how many people have not said a thing to me. I agree that staying or just getting the last 10 pounds off. Staying at the lowest weight is the hardest. I still don't have all the answers and have been on Keto for 2 years. I feel so great but have flab to still deal with. I am going to be 80 the end of the month. I feel 40 and that is worth all the time and cooking 2 diffferent meals for years! Love you guys, Aloha

I was 206- I got down to 150 had a mommy make over ( or GRANDMA make over I’m 54 ) I had 4.5 pounds of skin taken off - and now I weigh 134 - I have never felt better in my life. I do work out everyday and eat Factor meals everyday. And SURPRISE - i did not turn into a supermodel i changed into a better version of myself. I invested in expensive shoes and purses - last couple of years I invested into MYSELF !!

Wow! I LOVE all your videos and this one did not let me down. I’ve lost 40 lbs using keto and IF and am 10-15 lbs from my goal. What do I do next frightens me and I think about it often. Also, I agree that I am definitely treated better now than I was when I was 40 lbs heavier by family and total strangers. I think some people are just nicer to smaller individuals but I also agree with your comment that the difference was in me. I was less confident, never made eye contact and generally tried to not be noticed so of course people reciprocated my attitude.

Perfect timing! I can’t agree enough on this video!!! I have went from my largest at 326 lbs to this morning 180 lbs. I am tall also 5’11. I still find myself trying to shop in the plus size 🤷🏻‍♀️. I am 49 years old and this is my healthiest I have ever been. My husband, 52, has lost almost 60lbs. He had someone ask him if he had cancer 🤦‍♀️. I notice how different people act toward me in public now. I love to cook so we always ate at home. I had to learn basically how to cook totally different than how I was raised. It has totally been worth it!! Having the right food helps you to not cheat, especially during the holidays!! Our grandkids even love our “diet food”! That’s what they call it lol. I just want to encourage anyone who thinks they can’t loose weight to give it a try for 2 weeks. You will see results and want to continue on! One more thing before I go, losing the weight was a bonus. I used to be in constant pain all the time and now I feel great! If I can give up Cokes and skittles, anyone can change to the keto lifestyle!! 🙏🏼❤️💪🏼 Oh and record your measurements and take pictures before you start. God bless!!

I never wanted to go on a weight loss diet because I knew once that diet was over I would gain all my weight back. I would have to make a lifestyle change, and I just didn't think I could. This past January, I decided that I was going on keto for a month and a half, and if it worked, I was going to stay with it. Well, it worked! I'm 40 lb down and feel great. This is a lifestyle change for me. I enjoy the foods that I can eat and I don't miss (too much) the food that I can't. But I could also relate to many of the things that you mentioned in this video. Now I need to get busy with other activities that I've always wanted to do so that I don't feel empty and end up going back.
I appreciate your content, personalities, humor, and recipes. Thank you!

I remember after losing a substantial amount of weight several years ago my husband made a comment about a food choice I made. I told him he needed to keep his comments to himself and then the big thing I remember saying was I may be thinner now but inside I still felt like a big girl. I ended up gaining all the weight lost over time and a pregnancy. Now I've been keto for nearly 5 years, still have a few pounds to lose but this time is different, no more fight with the heavy girl inside.

I relate so much to the story where you got close to your goal weight and then gave up.
I started at 250 lbs and my goal weight was 165. I got to 180 and just gave up. I gained back up to 211. I've also struggled with chronic depressive disorder and I felt like I was at the lowest point of my life.
I put all my self worth in my size. I was losing weight and working out for all the wrong reasons. It's taken me some time, therapy, and medication to realize that my weight loss goals and fitness goals do not have to be tied to my self worth.
I've restarted my journey with keto, weightloss, and fitness with a focus on wellness; not appearance. I started again at 211 and down to 198 as of today. This time the focus is on myself for the right reasons. Feeling good in the body I'm in, focusing on healthy nutrition, and dedicating myself to enjoying life.

I definitely noticed people treated me TOTALLY different when I lost weight over a decade ago (I got really thin but it was not healthy). Men have never had any interest in me and all of a sudden they were trying to talk to me, spend time with me, and date me. I was like “get away from me! You could not be bothered with me when I was fat!” It was not healthy but it was how I felt. It took me years to work on myself and I truly feel happy where I am. First, a huge “Thank you!” Love you gals and love your channel but that said, it was from you two that I FINALLY figured out that what I needed wasn’t another diet but a permanent Lifestyle Plan. I tried Keto a couple of years ago but found it too hard and gave up. So a second “Thank you” for letting me know that a little dirty keto isn’t the end of the world and that the main thing is to do whatever keeps you on keto. After listening to you gals I suddenly was able to dedicate myself to keto. I weighed the day I started and decided weight was second to health and have not wavered since. I’m in the 2nd month now, lost 10 lbs my first month, and will not weigh again until the first of next month. Sometimes keto is a challenge but it gets easier every day. Keep up the good work, you two are both inspirational and we love you.

I love everything you guys do from your keto hacks to your supportive talks about weight loss and being technically keto. The most important thing that can happen to you as you lose weight and reach a weight goal is the realization that you are finally in control of your eating and have the ability to say no to the foods that have made you overweight and are technically killing you one bite at a time. Once that happens you have the power to have the life you deserve, not the food that you think you deserve.

you ladies unboxed a lot on this video....emotional stuff. the mental health/emotional part of being heavy and going through a weight loss journey. I think of people that have lap band or other surgeries to lose weight. Some that I know have gained much of the weight back.
we are a social species and more often than not our interactions with friends and family involve eating and drinking. I quit drinking alcohol 10 years ago. I feel funny going in a bar or tavern and ordering a diet soda. Going over to friends houses or out to eat...its always like what is Brian going to have on his diet. The older I get the more I worry about my physical health. Great video.

    I’ve lost 66 lbs (90 kgs to 59 kgs) in 1 year.
I used to waddle - who was that person I glimpsed passing a window?
I’m 68 years old. My body looks like a prune now, and I’m not buying a bikini any time soon.
I don’t show my knees or upper arms!

This is a GREAT video! I’m trying to get back on keto. Getting on the scale just depressed the hell out of me because I can get obsessed about it. I have to think of being on keto as a means to get and try to stay healthier, feel better (arthritis and thyroid issues), and look better in my clothes. Then the keto police is a whole other thing (don’t get me started! 🙄)
I get to the point that I don’t even tell anyone, especially family members outside of my home, that I’m doing keto or low carb as I got so much backlash when I lost 50 lbs last time as they thought it was so unhealthy (another 🙄!) Now I just say “I’m watching what I eat and trying to exercise more.”
I ❤️❤️❤️ your channel and wish I had found it my first keto go-round! I love your relaxed, no judgement approach. Losing weight is hard enough especially when I have family members that think they mean well telling me I need to lose weight but then criticize the way I’m doing it. It’s EXHAUSTING!
Btw, I used to have a channel back in 2017! It wasn’t all keto but mostly.

I just found you both, after starting low carb about 2 weeks ago (6 pounds lost from 203). Your chaffle recipes look delicious and am going to try them this weekend. I will be 65 in two days. Getting older has it's challenges, but I have to say that many of the things you discuss in this video are much easier to deal with when you get older. Losing weight is definitely harder. Menopause, hormones, just losing and regaining so many times sets us "seasoned" people up for a real challenge. But....age brings with it knowledge (from repeated failures), perspective and gratitude. Also the plain fact that it really is now or never. If you value your health, and want to feel great without drugs, aches and pains, it's time to look in the mirror and stop the delusions. It just doesn't matter to me any more what people think or the games they play with words/actions. I am still over-sensitive but have learned to recognize that and be OK with it. I used to be a real people pleaser, and was raised by hands off distracted parents. I think it's important to recognize what it is that causes you to over eat. As you get older that knowledge, and acceptance of what was, will make you stronger and help to make your goals easier to achieve. Thanks ladies, I will be following you and enjoying your past videos!

I love this video and everything you ladies had to say. I lost 60lbs in high school, using Phen-Fen, and it was people's reactions that completely triggered and derailed me. I was still 100% the same person, I wasn't even skinny yet but all of a sudden people who never talked to me, never even looked my way would stop me in the hallway to tell me how great I look! New people suddenly discovered me and would actually say to my face oh my god you're so nice and so funny I don't know why I didn't think you were cool before. It's a compliment right, I look good or I'm a great person, so why would that upset me? Because what I only have value, I'm only worthy of your attention or compliments when I lose weight? I grew so angry and resentful I couldn't enjoy how much better I felt and how much more I could do. I've done it at least twice since then and every time it's people's sudden attention, compliments OR all they want to talk about now is dieting. My Mom has weight issues and that is the number one reason why I don't tell her when I'm losing weight. Every conversation becomes What are you doing, what are you eating, how much did you lose this week...blah blah blah Now my goals are not at all about weight loss but rather about mobility and blood sugar levels...plus I'm in my 40s so I don't care about other people's opinions as much...but I do need to figure out how to not be so angry and resentful of people's reactions or "compliments".

You did the right thing by changing your channel into a journey and lifestyle rather than a weight loss channel. This is the whole idea behind a Proper Human Diet. If people had been taught the right way to eat from the very beginning of life, they would have been so used to this lifestyle that it would seem odd to eat any other way. You would unlikely have gained weight in the first place. Good for you, we are all proud of you for making this your way of life.

Well done ladies! I love your channel as you are fun, practical and as you said you’re doing lifestyle of keto not weight loss of keto. I am within 10 pounds of my goal having lost 60 pounds at 70 years old. In other words I’m more or less at my goal. I WAS AND STILL AM focused on GOOD HEALTH not weight loss- that is to say I think of the positive health outcomes of weight loss and that keeps me on track. Falling off the plan will result in bad health outcomes. So- let’s focus on the GOOD HEALTH outcomes not looking better. Thanks very much for the great videos and for the CHAFFLE which is my all time favourite.

Thank you! I think you are the only RUclips creators to talk about this. When I started Keto 2 years ago my every waking moment was consumed with Keto and reaching my goal weight. I spent my days counting macros, trying to come up with things to eat other than eggs. I to remember the day I stepped on the scale and it said 155 My GOAL WEIGHT. Well there were no bells, no whistles, nothing. The very next day I woke up and thought "alright I'm going to eat now." Instead of counting Macros I was counting how many cars were before me in the Wendy's drive thru. I need a plan this time. I am 25 pounds away from my goal weight and history cannot repeat itself.

I find you both totally refreshing and down to earth. I think this is harder for women than men. The world in general is harder on women and over weight women are the invisible class. Overweight men can be beefy and big and given a pass. Where women are judged harshly. I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes in December and have lost 51 pounds since then. I watch you guys for the new food ideas. Right now I am a meat and vegetable guy. Your pizza video gave me pizza for the first time in 3 months. Thank you soo much. This is a journey for us as individuals but seeing your success helps allot. Thank you for all you do and God Bless you both.

Thank y'all for this video, it really resonated with me. One thing that has REALLY changed by being on this lifestyle: I have had a problem all my life with major ups and downs (deep depression at times). I started listening to doctors and psychologist and learned that sugar can affect the brain in various ways, mine was anxiety and panic attacks. Since living this lifestyle, I have had a more balanced life. At 75 it is a blessing to know that although not conquered (is anything?), my life is only becoming a wonderful journey of health. Thank you both for being a part of this!

This topic really resonated with me. I have been a “yo-yo” dieter since I started dieting some 50 years ago. I am now 66 years old and I have lost and gained back 50 poun

Continuation of prior comment- pounds and several times and lost and gained back 20 pounds too often to even count. However since using keto and intermittent fasting I feel I have a better handle on my weight control. Sometimes I slip up but getting back on isn’t quite as difficult as it used to be. Last year I lost 43 lbs and I’m doing pretty well in maintaining it. I am definitely more outgoing when I’m thinner (I’m very shy by nature) but I think it is because people do treat me differently when I’m thin and I respond to them in a more outgoing way. It is true however that the problems that you had when you were obese are still there when you lose the weight. Being thin just allows me to deal with them in a more positive way. But I realize the food cravings will always be there and I have to learn how to deal with them behaviorist. No matter how long I have dieted, no matter how much weight I have lost it is always a struggle but one worth the gargantuan effort. Your videos are very relatable, enjoyable and heartfelt. Thank you for sharing your weight loss journeys

Thank you for this video! This is what I needed to hear. I can relate with everyone of these stories. As a person who has been fat since I was 5 yrs old, (66 yrs) this is so true. I finally reached my goal 4 yrs ago (keto over 5 yrs) and work on it everyday.

Great conversation in video and comments. My keto journey is to lower a1c and triglycerides (only 15lb overweight which I am losing slowly but surely on keto). I won't have them checked until September, so I guess that is my goal date. But I do plan to keep dirty keto my lifestyle once I've attained my goal #s because I feel better mentally and physically. Weight loss is slow but I can tell I am leaner overall. Love your encouragememt!❤

Hey. Been watching you for a few months but saving this vid for the right time. I hit my target weight this week. As you said in the video, no balloons dropped. In fact, I'm not sure anyone cared but me... Full disclosure - white male, 63 y. o., 6' 1", started at 235. Hit 200 this week after 14 months keto. A1C down a full percentage point to the low end of "normal" after "pre-diabetic" diagnosis. Feeling better. Looking better (not that anyone sees me doing telework 🙄). This video is just what I needed. Been thinking about "What now?" for a while. At this point I will keep doing what works for me. May reintroduce a few more carbs as I am an accomplished cook and baker. If I drop a few more pounds, OK. If I gain a few, OK - but just a few. Life is just better now. Not perfect, but better. Thanks for doing what you do. You are so encouraging! Vibrant and healthy and honest and normal (whatever that is...). You make me feel better about me.

My why has changed so much. It started out with me not wanting to be bigger than my husband anymore. Then it transitioned to "I'm tired of the doctors telling me I hurt because I'm fat".
After being diagnosed with autoimmune disease, the why changed to I'm gonna eat better to lower inflammation & pain.
I lost & kept off enough weight & was able to go hiking with my son at Arches National Park. Now my why is losing enough weight so I can travel & hike more parks. This was a 20 year transition in the making with lots of ups & downs.
It is still incredibly hard. I am down to 215 lbs, but I still navigate this earth like I'm 300 lbs. I'm not sure I will ever get over that trauma, but I'm going to continue along the journey.

That’s so incredible Lisa! Now you are active and hiking. I think progress on the front of seeing ourselves as smaller is slower than the actual weight loss, but we will get there! -Em
