FINALLY! An honest review by someone who's actually competent and experienced in audio. Some of the reviews are so wishy washy I can't make a decision. You've helped so much!
I've had these headphones since the start of this year. The sound is amazing, and I actually prefer them to speakers for gaming. The spatial audio is great, and you can easily hear every little sound in games, and the direction they're coming from. The software was actually very buggy, and would never remeber my selected presets, and driver updating wouldn't always work (and apparently could even brick your headphones). The software is less buggy than it used to be now. The battery life is still amazing as well, and I charge these maybe once a month (not even?). They're great for long gaming session as well, and the padding is really soft, while sweat resistant. I do sometimes wish I could connect them to my phone, but other than that there's no complaints.
@@Aokiii Hey no worries, glad you found it useful :) I actually use these for my work meetings while WFH these days. They're great for walking around the house while in a meeting, and you can mute your mic just by moving it to the upright position.
I ordered them today and Iam so excited! What do you mean your only complaint is that you can’t connect them to your phone? They connect via Bluetooth right?

I literally just bought mine early this morning and have been looking for good reviews because i want honest reviews. I hate it when people keep trying to compare this stuff to their higher end counter parts. This is going to be my first sennheiser headset. Everyone complains about the mic from what ive heard but like im just going to be talking to my friends, not a community unless i decide to stream again but who cares lol. If i get super huge then i can upgrade the mic but until then i dont care lol. I just want sound thats not super compressed like the hyper xs i have and has the sound all muddled together. I want to hear foot steps coming around the corner not when theyre right on me like my hyper xs and i keep the sound pretty low so it doesnt blow out my ear drums so from the sound of your review i should have not problem keeping them at a good volume and enjoying my experience. Thanks for the review man! I cant wait to get them and ill be sure to subscribe for more stuff!
Sound is very subjective, no company can make the best solution that fits everybody's taste. I'm with Nick, he produce his own music, so he has experience in the field, when he said a speaker is good, I'd follow his recommendation.
So, the Sennheiser is good, but it’s up to the individual to decide if it’s worth it. I haven’t heard this headset, but I have the GAME ONE and Game Zero that came out earlier. Their balance of bass, mids, and highs has a V-shape (in simplified terms, more bass and treble), but not as colored as most “gaming” headsets. In another league of clean sound too. But some people are used to extra warm bass - one man’s clean, tight bass is another man’s boring, thin bass. I think the GSP series has more bass than the Game One, and Sennheiser’s original product page said that it did so without sacrificing clarity. If you’re looking for a top performing headphone/headset with wireless and with surround processing, these Sennheiser’s should be on your short list to check out.
Thank goodness for your review. Something about all the other reviews where people had odd complaints or didn't mention the things that wireless headphones usually are mentioned for just didn't sit well for me and you cleared those issues up.
They sound amazing, but I have struggled to get the 370's to function normally with the dongle. If I click the headphones on and switch my audio output to the 370's, they do not activate. I have to unplug the dongle, turn the headset on, plug in the dongle, and quickly change the output to them. It's a dance that is really annoying to do with a $200 headset.
@@Noah-2242 The sound quality is pretty good, I'm no expert but when playing games where audio cues are important, I feel like I can hear them well. The battery life is insane, and the connectivity issues I was having seem to have been fixed via updates.
Thank you for an honest review! I currently use the Senheiser GSP 300 & PC 360 (both which I absolutely LOVE!) for gaming on my PS4 and PC, but I wanted a wireless option because I hate being tethered as well, lol! I figured if I love Senheiser so much, why look elsewhere? You've just confirmed my choice for the GSP 370 as an affordable wireless headset purchase.
I had the 670's in my eyesight cause of your earlier rec. Would you pony up the cash difference or the quality is pretty marginal between the two? (about $150 AUD difference)
Thanks for the review. However, as a owner of this headset myself I've seen many reviews on this headset. And to be honest, I don't think the other reviewers are criticizing this headset for sounding bad. Where the Sennheiser GSP 370 fails imo is in it's software (side tone feature promised but not delivered), and the inherent issue with the dongle (you have to manually plug it in every time the computer restarts). Have you encountered this problem as well? But I do agree that the sound quality and the battery life of this headset make it worth the money.
You have good content man. Like many have pointed out your reviews are more valueable because you have actually used the product itself. When I look for reviews I often find myself listening to people who simply read specs and compare headsets based on it. I think you need to wear/use a product for a few months to understand how good or bad the headset really is. Keep up the good work man!
Thing about Xbox: to make Xbox support a USB headset, the headset maker has to pay Microsoft ~$35 for EVERY HEADSET MADE (sold or sitting on a shelf). That’s a massive loss in margin where the vast majority of headsets are only going to sell for $50 - $250! Sony also charges about the same amount for full featured integration with consoles (like 7.1 surround channels being available), however they do offer generic stereo output and mic input drivers, so digital headsets can make a simple connection.
Another thing to note: Consoles don’t natively support bluetooth audio, and bluetooth has been a bad idea for gaming headsets anyway. First, it’s laggy. The lag is pretty consistent per model of headphone, but if you rely on audio for tactical information or timing your actions, it will throw you off, sometimes making the game (like Raymond Legends, Beat Saber, or Thumper) even more difficult than just playing the game muted! Bluetooth 5.0 doesn’t improve audio usage at all over Bluetooth 4.2; it’s the advancements in codecs that have brought the functional improvements. Much more recently, the aptX Low Latency (aptX LL) bluetooth codec has finally reduced latency to a near imperceptible 20-40ms latency, however it doesn’t support a mic return channel. Microphone audio input is the other big issue. All of the modern HiFi codecs don’t support a microphone return channel, so you’ll notice a substantial decrease in game audio quality whenever you enable the microphone in games as it switches to a codec meant more for phone calls. Also, consider that the bandwidth has to be essentially cut in half and shared/switched between input and output, and you’ll start to get an idea for the challenges faced. What’s interesting about Sennheiser’s approach for the GSP 370 and 670 is that they don’t use Bluetooth for gaming. It uses a 2.4 GHz wireless connection and a custom-made codec to improve latency, add a mic return channel, and maximize the audio quality. That’s why you need the USB dongle transmitter! Sennheiser has taken an interesting approach, and I hope they continue to develop it.
Thanks man ive decided to try a pair of wireless sennys Ive had my 363D's for a long time now and i think I'm gonna get a pair of 670's thanks for the review

since you're an audio person I'm glad you're speaking on the audio side. I have the hardest time with headsets because I like my music more than games and frankly wireless is better for me less wires less clutter. While I can appreciate good clean audio I can also tend to be a little bit of a bass head when I want to listen to rap/hip hop lol. how are these or the 670's for deep bass? For reference the gen 1 Astro A50's with replacement leather cups were my previous champions, they had really powerful bass. I also have Sony XB-950N1's and I wouldn't expect and headphone to reasonably keep up with these. I recently bought HyperX Cloud Flight S because of other reviewers and I have to say I am let down, the sound is clean I guess but hardly any low end extension at all.
The 370 is amazing. I've had mine now for over a year now and they are just amazing! The battery time is still good, i can play about 75-90 hours with one charge.
I just bought the 370s after owning a pair of the Seinheiser Game One headsets for 3 years. I am honestly disappointed and this is why. Comfort: The 370s, although light, sit way too tight against my head. They push against the bottom of my ears too much and there is not much I can do about it. Sound: This is probably the best thing about the headset, the sound quality is amazing. Mic: Dissapointing.. it picks up every background noise and there is alot of static. Software: I swear to god it does nothing. I have updated the latest drivers. But nothing seems to work whatever I do.
I don't mind wireless but I prefer wire cause I do... sennheiser hd599 SE and a blue yeti nano in gold cause it looks cool and razer everything else...
Hi, I just bought the gsp 370. They sound great but ... The volume knob(the wheel) on the headset itself only reduces the volume, it does not increase it. Turn it down or up. What I can do? Thank you.
Thanks for keeping it real, especially today. I'm always looking at the Steelseries Arctis Pro or something better. Would the 670s be better in your work flow. I have no plans to buy a headset anytime soon so I'm just trying to watch out for sales and deals when they happen.
It's the 2nd April here ;) Steelseries Arctis Pro's are pretty amazing. I have the Siberia 800's which are the version before and they still work perfectly. You can see them hanging on the wall behind me.
I'll also keep It real. I didn't really like the steelseries Pro with dac. Seemed like the dac didn't gave enough power to push the headphones. I much more preferred my AE-5 sound card with steelseries game edition. Currently using the logitech Gpro x with same sound card. Again the supplied sound card with the proX is good an all with its blue sound features but for me still don't push out enough power for the headphones.
Thank you for this video. You made my search for a good wireless surround headset a whole lot easier :) It's difficult at times to take on reviews from opinionated fanboys so someone giving a professional opinion who doesn't give a damn about the brand is actually appreciated a lot.
i have the gsp 500, and i sen it to repair warranty... and now they want to send me back the gsp 370.... is that a good change? what do you think..? i want my gsp 500. but the idk
They have fixed the issues this headset had before with the latest firmware. I think it deserved the bad reputation it had before with disconnects, dongle loosing connection to the headset when rebooting your PC, firwmware update bricking it, and so on. But now with the latest firmware every problem I had with this headset is fixed! And it got side-tone ;) I only wish it wasn't so damn ugly, but I am not a streamer anyhow so :P
I don't think it's really fair to suggest that other reviewers of the product 'don't know what they are talking about'. I recently purchased the GSP 670's, and while I agree that the sound quality of them is very very good, I have PERSONALLY experienced a lot of the issues which other reviewers have referred to, namely the occasional distortion, poor wireless range, terrible software (like why can't you rollback your drivers!?!?) etc etc. It's very possible that you were very lucky with your pair, or I, along with the other reviewers, were just unlucky (and in my case, should probably look into doing an RMA). I still think your reviews are great! (keep it up!), but just remember that other reviewers don't get the same copy as you do, nor are they in the same environment. So results from testing are likely to be different on those aspects along when testing wireless headphones :)
PAPA KILO At this point it’s tough for me to recommend them. When they work, and while the signal behaves, the sound quality is excellent for a wireless headset. But, so far, based on my experience, and considering how expensive they are, They’ve just been so frustrating. I’m sending my pair in though for RMA, so I’m hoping I just have a faulty pair. My only gripes with the headset is what seems to be a very unstable connection to the dongle (and the occasional scratch sound you get because of it), even if I’m sitting at my desk and that fact that you can’t rollback or reinstall firmware (WHY??!)
I don't know if that's too much to expect from a fairly expensive headset, but I feel like the mic is just aweful. The sound and battery life are incredible, can't argue with that.
this video is pretty new, so did you have encounter any problems with the dongle an headset being detected but not working until unplugging an replugging the dongle back in firmware is fully updated using the Sennheiser gaming suit. at this point i can only get the audio to work an not the mic to work at all. everything is set to default in using the gsp 370.
@@bfmainisnunu8064 I really, really like them! If you use them on a Mac, you have to pop the USB stick out then put it back in each time the computer sleeps but I mainly use them on my work/play PC :)
The best is subjective. It depends what they are being used for. For gaming and listening to music these are pretty good. The 670s are better and wider. Compared to audiophile-centric stuff they are okay. The trick is looking for reference studio monitoring headphones like the Beyerdynamic DT1990 Pros. They are flat and have excellent separation and response. I've used those recently for mixing some new tracks and they are pretty exceptional. They are going for around $800AUD. It's hard to name 1 single headset mainly because I've used so many over the years. But for a really good listening experience Beyerdynamic makes some decent cans. You're looking at a pretty high point of entry price wise though no matter who you go with. Some other brands to look at are Shure and also Sennheiser as well. I have a set of Shure in-ear monitors that I used to use in the studio that sit in its box now that cost around $1000USD that are on another level.
Gear Seekers thank you for the response I’m just getting into audio 💰 💰 lol but I’m enjoying the new hobby. I just purchased a DAC and AMP from Schiit. The magni +3 and modi 3 for my Sennheiser momentum 2 but I’m probably going to be looking for a better headset for the pc in the future I mainly got this headset because it was on sale for $127 and had really good reviews also it had built in Bluetooth so I could take them around (love this headset). I want something more dedicated to the just the PC I’ll look into the ones you suggested.
@@therevanchist1123 start cheaper man. The beyerdynamic 990s are a pretty solid choice that won't break the bank. Great for gaming and music and super comfortable.
It's subjective. If you want best overall sound wireless is fine. If you want better audio wired with a separate mic is the way to go. Headset mics are almost always rubbish regardless if wired or wireless.
the only legitimate complaint is the microphone quality. i don't know if it's firmware or just a cheaper microphone. but the GSP 300s the wired version has much better microphone quality and is only $80CAD
After round about 1,5 years I'd scraped mine because the micro USB-B port broke. From the mechanical point of view this USB version is the worst solution because the port is only hold on place with three....four litle solderjoints and two tiny crimp contacts (I demounted the tiny electronic on the left side beause I was curious about the problem). Fact: everytime you connect the headset to charge it it's one step further to his dead. Lessons learned: never buy a device with micro USB-B port again.
I just bought this headset after seeing this review, now i spent 2 hours trying to connect it, but no matter what i do it doesnt connect, im so frustrated, i really wanted to give it a fair chance but this is too much, ive tried everything now. Nothing is working 😢i downloaded epos gaming suite, gsp 370 doesnt show up, it doesnt even show up on my device manager, software is up to date. I first thought it was because of low battery, but 2 hours plugged in with cable. Im so Dissapointed in this product! If you got a solution, PLS let me know 😊
Hey Gear Seekers, currently i have the GSP 300 which i really like in terms of sound and mic quality. The only problem i keep having is the cable that becomes very sensitive to touch ( the audio cuts in and out everytime the cable moves ). I'm buying new cables for the second time now but might switch to the GSP 370 soon because of this. Do you know if the sound quality is better or worse than the wired GSP 300?
I have the pc 363D Seinheisser headet for the past 8 years... its no longer supported and the software i had to find it on reddit.. im struggling so much to make the mic work
Literally dealing with the same struggle myself lol. My dad has some Sennheiser pxc 550s and raves about the audio quality, but he struggles with discord, for some reason. As long as they don't have THAT issue, I'll be getting the gsp 670 or 370(whatever makes sense at the time financially) and will be happy to make a review myself if anyone is interested.
"True 7.1" surround sound would be an entire 7.1 speaker setup in your room, not in a headphones earcups, there's not much point to it other then cost more. If it does its mixing through software well enough that's great, if it just does it in good stereo most game engines will still provide great directional audio if it's a modern enough game.
I wouldnt use any directional headset (5.1, 7.1, or any surround sound) for gaming, especially hunt. Use stereo mode. Hunt when it starts even suggests using a stereo headset because it has Binaral audio.
Good headset, sound is amazing and battery life is excellent. Mic is pretty trash, ive owned them for almost 2 years now and the earcups are already torn, build quality that I didn’t expect from sennheiser…
when i go to look for a gaming headset I look for audio and mic quality and I love the sound of the gsp 370 but when im playing a game like r6 i get nothing but complaints when I am calling locations out because the mic audio sounds kind of trash
the driver so bad give me crackling noise, end up use dolby atmos window10 instead of epos gaming suite. i choose this because the battery life and light weight compare to gsp670.
Ahh im torn between these and the corsair vurtuosos. I already have icue so the corsairs would fit right in the software but I love sennheiser and man, I can't decide now.
I've had two that have both failed, great sounding head set but both have failed in and around 2 year mark. Both failed to charge and no it wasn't the battery it's the plug, after two years of charging, boom they fail, I love the sound and there great for music and gaming I have a hard wired set and there great never missed a beat 5 years use and there still going. but GSP 370 I will not recommend.
@@WavyVaporizers Most wireless headsets are like that. That's why there are special Xbox versions. Microsoft/xbox uses different wireless protocols from the standard, which means that there are either headsets which support pc, playstation, switch or on the other side, just Xbox. Alternatively certain headsets like the arctis 7x have a switch on the dongle that switches from xbox to standard protocols. Meaning that the wireless works on every system. If you want a headset that works on every system get the arctis 1 wireless xbox edition or the arctis 7x. I have both the 7p and wireless 1. If comfort doesn't play a big role for you, get the 1.

It's the 2nd April here ;)
Steelseries Arctis Pro's are pretty amazing.
Andy Mcgovern • That’s a good point: the GSP 670 has a built-in DAC and amp, designed to meet the headphone’s requirements.
Thank you for this video. You made my search for a good wireless surround headset a whole lot easier :)
It's difficult at times to take on reviews from opinionated fanboys so someone giving a professional opinion who doesn't give a damn about the brand is actually appreciated a lot.
i have the gsp 500, and i sen it to repair warranty... and now they want to send me back the gsp 370....
is that a good change?
what do you think..?
i want my gsp 500.
Thanx for this important info!
Thank you for a great review. Helped me tremendously to make a decision!
So it is worth it to buy the GSP 670? I'm worried about choosing between gsp 670 or virtuoso SE
@@brandonaddison6859 Hey dude do you still use the GSP 670 and did they get sorted out?
So, the GSP670 is better than the GSP370? Also, how is the battery on the 670?
I don't know if that's too much to expect from a fairly expensive headset, but I feel like the mic is just aweful. The sound and battery life are incredible, can't argue with that.
My 370s sound works on my pc but the mic only works sometimes would anyone know how to fix this?
this video is pretty new, so did you have encounter any problems with the dongle an headset being detected but not working until unplugging an replugging the dongle back in firmware is fully updated using the Sennheiser gaming suit. at this point i can only get the audio to work an not the mic to work at all. everything is set to default in using the gsp 370.
I have just bought these to replace my dying Corsair Virtuoso.... I have Dolby Atmos for headphones, does this headset support it?
JB Hifi have them on special for $299. I'm so tempted!
Let me know if you still want one, I have one here sitting in box for awhile.
@@faytfu9313 Already purchased! Got it locally as my wife desperately needed headphones for work. Thanks for the offer though!
Steven Hambleton how are they? I saw the jb hifi sale last night
@@bfmainisnunu8064 I really, really like them! If you use them on a Mac, you have to pop the USB stick out then put it back in each time the computer sleeps but I mainly use them on my work/play PC :)
How do these compare to more audiophile centric headsets or a better question what is the best headset you have ever used personally just curious?
It was Hardware Canucks. Just say it....
Am I better off with a wired set for sound / Mic quality?
It's subjective. If you want best overall sound wireless is fine. If you want better audio wired with a separate mic is the way to go. Headset mics are almost always rubbish regardless if wired or wireless.
Have u tried on an amd system? Or u r on an amd system when u were reviewing the headphones?
the only legitimate complaint is the microphone quality. i don't know if it's firmware or just a cheaper microphone. but the GSP 300s the wired version has much better microphone quality and is only $80CAD
How about latency ? do you encounter any lags while gaming a royale battle or FPS games?
no
I just bought this headset after seeing this review, now i spent 2 hours trying to connect it, but no matter what i do it doesnt connect, im so frustrated, i really wanted to give it a fair chance but this is too much, ive tried everything now.
Man I love the mic of the GSP 300. Wonder how does 370's mic stack up to the 300?
thanks for an awesome review yours hit all the points in reviewing this GAMING Headphones
I have the pc 363D Seinheisser headet for the past 8 years... its no longer supported and the software i had to find it on reddit.. im struggling so much to make the mic work
what's beter this headset or arctis 7 or corsair virutoso help
Literally dealing with the same struggle myself lol. My dad has some Sennheiser pxc 550s and raves about the audio quality, but he struggles with discord, for some reason. As long as they don't have THAT issue, I'll be getting the gsp 670 or 370(whatever makes sense at the time financially) and will be happy to make a review myself if anyone is interested.
Aaron Abbott - Your dad probably struggles with Discord because you have to set up “Speakers” and “Communications” separately in Windows. It’s tricky.
Do you recommend true 7.1 surround sound for gaming? If not what? Looking for directional sound headset for Hunt: Showdown.
No sidetone adjust? Or is it missing completely??
As soon as he said not compatible with Xbox I dipped lol
So these dont work with series x?
Could you do a virtuoso vs gsp370? Only found one in german, and I'm really torn between these two.
Which do you reccomend for the two, and why?
which one did u end up getting im torn between those two and the arctis 7
Thank you for being competent
AS some one who owned these for a while be careful the headset charging port is fragile and has giving me nothing but issues
Also, this channel is a bit under rated 😗
@Mikael thanks for your useless feedback. 🤭
Sanket Gurung your feedback is useless too
Thanks for this, Grabbed this one after watching.
when i go to look for a gaming headset I look for audio and mic quality and I love the sound of the gsp 370 but when im playing a game like r6 i get nothing but complaints when I am calling locations out because the mic audio sounds kind of
trash
Missed a key part of the headset in your review, the mic.
I just wished the 350's had this colour scheme...
Is there going to be a part 2 to the H510 build
How are these compared to the Sennheiser Game One?
Mina Mikhail game one is open back
7:09 Your house is 60m long? 😮
RUclips must pay better than I thought 😛
Lmao, there's this magical thing called a door that leads to outside :O
Did you even listen to what I said? I said to other side of our building.
the driver so bad give me crackling noise, end up use dolby atmos window10 instead of epos gaming suite.
i choose this because the battery life and light weight compare to gsp670.
you try the Audeze Maxwell's yet?
Ahh im torn between these and the corsair vurtuosos. I already have icue so the corsairs would fit right in the software but I love sennheiser and man, I can't decide now.
if you care about the mic quality id say go for the corsair otherwise Sennheiser all day
I've had two that have both failed, great sounding head set but both have failed in and around 2 year mark. Both failed to charge and no it wasn't the battery it's the plug, after two years of charging, boom they fail, I love the sound and there great for music and gaming I have a hard wired set and there great never missed a beat 5 years use and there still going. but GSP 370 I will not recommend.
New to pc gaming, so which is better, 370s, the 670s, or cousair virtuoso
Guess... 670 my man
What headset would you recommend for gaming/call of duty? I have a50’s but feel like my audio experience could be better..
how does it stack up against the arctis 7 from corsair?
Steel series dude and way better
nice work brother
Can you use this with ps5
Im going to try boom3d with GSP 600's
The EPOS branding thing is still so silly
great info bro. 61k yeah boi
Appreciate the review
you make me proud 2c a few good men left!!!!! tks
So these cant be used with series x or ps5?
They can be used for the ps5, just not the series x.
@@KraljHD wow why?
@@KraljHD arctis 7 have bigger ear cups?
@@WavyVaporizers In comparison to the arctis 1? Arctis 7 rarcups are deeper, not larger, but the arctis 1 has a very high clamping force. I have headaches wearing them.
ahhhh now I found what I'm looking for... a positive review for the headset which I just ordered and now being delivered without even watching a review before buying. ( ͡ʘ╭͜ʖ╮͡ʘ)
Did I miss the mic test?
Thanks for the awesome review!!
