Going by the air vents on the building, you was next to a data centre and the system you set off is a Vesda system they are very sensitive to smoke a regular system wouldn't have went into alarm. They are so flipping annoying lol
The over day I was walking down the road (the day I first found your channel) and a scania came up behind me and scared me to death and it was the one u had and that made my day so much happier.
Hi Kev it's like threading a truck through the eye of a needle with those estates. After finally passing my Class 1 trying to get a job with Covid is being hard work. Great videos like the new prospective with the camera. 👍 Chris
Hi Kev, I liked the different camera angles whilst you were loading the Prius, and setting those alarms off from the smoke from that car bet you could not of done that if you had tried, great Vlog yet again.
I do like the different camera angles and positions Kev, nice touch, also, you can tell the difference between the road friendly suspension on the Scanny and the road unfriendly suspension on the Renault, I felt them pot holes and speed humps sitting on my settee 😂
Great vlog as usual Kev, loving that MK2 Golf just before your drop, I vaguely remember you collecting from there so pretty certain the collection is in one of your vlogs. As for the length of the vlogs I am happy either way as long as I get a fix of KevTee, all is good haha ;) Didn't look to be anything wrong with the Prius? Looked a nice car to be fair :) The S-Max collection was a good one, as if you made the fire brigade come out!! Looks like you have a thing with fire, this combined with the latest vlog out hahaha ;)
Got excited today saw a big red trent wagon pull up....nearly shouted Kev...but didnt...it wasnt you.....is it sad I know how to flip the number plate before lowering the top bed down?? My colleague did 😁
The smokey Ford was that from Chelsea Bridge ?? those flats looked familiar, near to the Evo center. Drove once through the big smoke to deliver a car now i leave the driving in London to the train or tube driver. Cracking video thanks again
Hi kev .. im a recent subscriber.. just wanted to ask if you could do more videos using the body cam like in ur 'first day out with scania 7 car transporter video' i really enjoyed that view whilst driving 👍🏽👍🏽
Absolutley brilliant vlog Kev take care of yourselves won't you buddy and stay safe and well all of you Kev until the next vlog buddy when I will catch you once again
Another great video mate really enjoyed it I signed up last weekend to be a member can't wait to get my sticker keep up the good work looking forward to your next video
Can I just give you a little bit of advice? I'd suggest that you always take the key out of the car while reconnecting the battery. It's unlikely but the central locking could activate and lock the keys in the car. The hassle it would save out ways the slight inconvenience of taking the key out of the car with you.
The used car market is unbelievable in the UK. Cars get scrapped because they need £400 of work. Cars with new mot (1 year inspection) are sold for £5-600. I think it's the cheapest in Europe
some people haven't got a clue for end of life vehicles around London do they?!! as my car is a 60 plate, 110k miles on the clock, and still drives like new once the faults were fixed. a couple of switches replaced (dead LED's), timing belt was done earlier than reccomended but that is personal preference rather than listening to the manual, as I knew the engine was still in good condition. just makes you wonder sometimes, as normally you would part-ex a car unless written off by insurance.
no wonder the fire brigade turned up with the car smoking that much. at least you explained to them what you thought the fire alarm was going off for, I haven't seen a vehicle smoke that much since the cold mornings back in the early 80's, and my grandfather starting up the Volvo F86. either that or a vehicle on fire.
Your video was so absorbing and yes I prefer them longer. I love looking out of the window as you're driving along. Can't believe the narrow streets and angles lol Have you ever driven a Daf? If so how does it fair up to the Scania? Thank you. Keep trucking :))
It depends on the economics of it all. At 15 years old, it simply isn't worth doing anything more than basic servicing and MoT because the value of the vehicle is so low. At that age, a major service plus the need for one axle of brake pads or a couple of replacement tyres might be uneconomic even at an inexpensive garage compared to the cost of a newer car with no faults and perhaps more life remaining. Annoying faults such as broken air conditioning are certainly not worth repairing in such an old vehicle.
Great video, but crumbs I can hear it now "I cannot let you out of my sight for 5 minutes...". Those smoke alarms must be sensitive for a smokey vehicle to set them off.
Did your paper work say not to start it lol..i think your yellow sheet did..However,i would not have started it but pushed it or got people to at least move there cars so you could load the car without a smoke alert... The other thing i noticed the 1st car you started unloading with checking if a customer was about to tell you where they was happy for you to leave the car..
No, nothing on the paperwork and we don't have a yellow sheet. I wouldn't of pushed a mpv on my own and there would of been no way of finding who owned the cars nearby.
yes them renault trucks do have annoying turning signal noise it is the same with the other renault trucks and the man tik tik tik tik that the man trucks.
Hi Kev its Peter was great meeting you this morning, forgot to ask you would it be worth getting my O licence then getting my own unit. Keep up the great videos, you, Luke C and trucker Jay are the reason I went for my class 1 licence. Forgot to say cheeeeerrs
most of the time you add/play good music on your vlogs and i wonder what it is/called. could you say what/who it is?? understand it maybe copyrighted/protected
When you do the London pick ups I find myself trying to pick out the route numbers of the buses to see if I drove them. You have a masochistic like of tight squeezes our Kev,
nice to see a bus driver, hah. I'm currently doing my module 2 PCV test, which I take tomorrow, and then I'll start preparing for my practical driving.
@kevtee do u know what is going on with trucker Jay he hasn't uploaded for ages was wondering if u knew what was going on cheers hope he is not in any trouble
Hey bro I just subscribed to your channel can you tell me what it’s all about? Looks like you have some good long videos that I can watch while I am grinding making my own money at home
The London vlogs are the best. Thanks for driving around in London so I don’t have to 😂
Much better camera angles, I appreciate you only having one camera though, so thanks for listening to us!
Keep safe brother!
Going by the air vents on the building, you was next to a data centre and the system you set off is a Vesda system they are very sensitive to smoke a regular system wouldn't have went into alarm. They are so flipping annoying lol
School i went to had some dodgy fire alarms. A bit of steam or dust would trigger it
Looks like a Telephone Exchange
Liked the different camera angles when loading the Prius so would like to see them continue.
Hi Kev what’s wrong with the Peugeot are dropped off in London and hope you are staying safe and well and yes enjoying the longer videos
Ben Evans your replied to a random blokes comment there

Great videos like the new prospective with the camera. 👍 Chris
when i worked on service buses cant remember how many watches i broke changing manual desti blinds love the long vlogs
Just amazing watching you go through those narrow congested roads- more fun than transporting cow poo around the country !
Hi Kev, I liked the different camera angles whilst you were loading the Prius, and setting those alarms off from the smoke from that car bet you could not of done that if you had tried, great Vlog yet again.
You came close to the area I used to live in when I lived in London.
I do like the different camera angles and positions Kev, nice touch, also, you can tell the difference between the road friendly suspension on the Scanny and the road unfriendly suspension on the Renault, I felt them pot holes and speed humps sitting on my settee 😂
Indeed Andrew, the ride in the Scania is butter smooth and the Renault is a little more agricultural shall we say 😂
Awesome vlog mate enjoy your weekend keep safe mate

Really enjoyed the prius sequence :)

Wasn't you I don't think but saw my first trent truck the scania outside of Dorchester
Great video. Could you look into getting a head cam strap for one of the cameras?
Love the videos, only just recently found the channel, would it be possible to tell us why each car is being scrapped?
Great vlog! On behalf of your back and spine I hope you get back in the Scania soon.
Kevin what was the stickers for on the pruis. Was it because it was a electeic car
He mentions it and you see them at the start of the video.
@@ryanmitcham5522 when does he mention it?

Always have an old Lenor bottle in the cab for a crafty piss.
they should of called that street prius street with the amount of them there 😂
Bet that caused some ribbing back at the depot, 😂
Indeed it did 😂😂

You aren't the first to empty a building,i've done it a few times.I emptied M&S twice,it was the same one as well.
Tbats moment kev tee starts a car and sets a fire alarm of 😂
One of these days roadworks in Knightsbridge will end 😂
Some time next decade 😉
They're destined to remain forever more 😂
Virtually every last one of the cars i see you pick up for scrap I see here in used car yards for anything up to $15k AU
The used car market is unbelievable in the UK. Cars get scrapped because they need £400 of work. Cars with new mot (1 year inspection) are sold for £5-600. I think it's the cheapest in Europe
They do drive some pretty awful cars in Australia though.
We don't get salt on the roads here so cars last a lot longer and stay in better condition.
@@paulaus An excellent point I did not consider. (I'm all for making them last longer)
Interesting to know why you have to travel so far from your base to collect scrap cars. Are there so few licensed breakers in London ?
some people haven't got a clue for end of life vehicles around London do they?!! as my car is a 60 plate, 110k miles on the clock, and still drives like new once the faults were fixed. a couple of switches replaced (dead LED's), timing belt was done earlier than reccomended but that is personal preference rather than listening to the manual, as I knew the engine was still in good condition. just makes you wonder sometimes, as normally you would part-ex a car unless written off by insurance.

pretty sure it would have been the carbon monoxide alarm due to the smell of the unburned fuel, rather than the normal fire alarm.
You don't appear to use a selector lever between forward and reverse......?
It's on the right-hand steering column stalk 👍
@@KevTee We've come a long way. I got a crash box and a good work out for the left leg.
I watched this on a different video, why did the car go back to the house
I can't remember if it was an insurance job when it was picked up? The owner probably bought it back to fix it.
Or they bought it from Charles Trent auctions and paid to have it delivered?
You must have a lot of tail swing on that Renault truck .
Your video was so absorbing and yes I prefer them longer. I love looking out of the window as you're driving along. Can't believe the narrow streets and angles lol Have you ever driven a Daf? If so how does it fair up to the Scania? Thank you. Keep trucking :))

End of life vehicle at 108000 mile my Vauxhall Zafira petrol is running like a new car at 217000
