Outta curiosity what did trump lied about? I get he is a liar but at least he's competent right?
edit: I do skim and comments mention Otaku did do some example such as free border and adortion what I mean by the question was meant to be a more precise answer, regardless main concern is that trump is better then Biden so "at least he competent" was added to say "isn't he the best choice?"

@mattkeepingazoriustactical yeah anyone talking about the economy doing better are probably only looking at the stock market, housing prices, and in some instances a rise in wages. However that all means fuck all when your gas, groceries, health care, taxes, insurance, materials all go up in price. Sure stock brokers and real-estate mogals are doing well and big bankers but the average person in the USA are feeling the squeeze of imminent economic collapse

Yeah sorry, if i want to see what the real effects of both leaders were here's what i know owning a small business:
From 16-19 i enjoyed record profits. Food was inexpensive as a single man, i was eating for about $250 a month. My 16 MPG truck was being filled for just over $60, and i could sell a high end gaming PC for anywhere from 850-1200. My office space rent was $550.
Today my office space rent is $870, filling my truck is over $100, food is $450/m and selling that same PC for $1,000 is now at minimum $1500. Whatever the stats says about how tiny inflation is under Biden or how great the economic recovery is quite frankly BS. I'm not the only American who sees it either. I noticed you left out CPI for your metrics. Wonder why that is. Even so CPI i think does not tell the whole story because the increases are way more brutal than FY22's abysmal 8% might seem. Last time it went to greater than 8% was in 1979.
We have two 4 year terms to look at, and Biden failed and failed hard and at the end of the day that's what matters.

Dev, this video demonstrates PRECISELY why some Trump supporters despise you.
You spend nearly 10 minutes pedantically hyperanalyzing the content of what Trump said, declaring them to be “lies,” or “half truths…” but when it came time to analyze the content of Biden’s answers? You only focused on one - ONE - measly point he made.
You may have spent the opening twenty minutes going over how Biden LOOKED bad, but when it came to the content of what Biden actually SAID during the debate and DID during his stint as president you absolutely did not give him anywhere near the level of scrutiny you gave Trump.
THIS right here has been a pattern in your content for the past few years that some of us have had a bone to pick with you over: when it comes to the Liberal establishments, it is painfully obvious that you give them the benefit of the doubt and forgo the level of scrutiny that you give to any other group or person.

How is that taking Northam out of context? Even given the full context, he is still using the quoted example where the baby is delivered then the talk about late term abortion would happen, hence post birth abortions being factually correct here. There is no real way around this, he said the baby would be delivered then the talk. His own words. The baby being abnormal doesnt change the fact that its now currently alive and delivered, outside the womb, post birth, and the talk about abortion happens then, post birth.
Yeah, the baby is abnormal, sure. Should we abort babies after birth because some people have abnormalities? Your added context doesnt change the fact that Northam described post birth abortions. If the baby is living, even if science says its impossible, shouldnt we let the baby keep living and defy science? People have been known to survive past their scientifically expected expiration date.

So this is a denial issue I think, where Biden is a sort of avatar representing dignity and competence, and society's promise to cover up what terrifies us all. I watch your channel off and on, you nailed Biden pretty well but you were reaching hard with Trump... So criticisms, sorry:
    - I'm not a Trumper and plan to do a write in.
1 - The video you gave of Trump VS Bush and now Trump VS Biden, Trump did better today than back under Bush in his answer and he was no slower of slurring.
2 - The clip of Biden and Trump in 2020, still... no real measurable change in Trump IMO... he was allowed to interrupt then but not at the CNN debate so there is less "fire"
3 - 3rd clip, Trump instantly delivers "He was right, he beat Medicare, he beat it to death" No slur, not lag...
4 - Gavin is possibly more of a lying yes man than Biden... and Biden has always been a empty shell of a human saying yes to whatever get's him support in that exact moment.
5 - You glossed over her saying, "Biden knows everyone of these questions is coming."
6 - Jailing Trump was in fact always a plan of the Democrats and their media... you pretending it's not true makes m roll my eyes a bit.
7 - You said "A harsh sentence against Trump would effect his electability, and there are people in Government who know this." What does that even mean? Who are these people that "know" the future when people keep getting it wrong? You kinda just made stuff up there and a harsh sentence would probably help Trump as now most people see the media lies to them and that the DOJ has been weaponized to protect Joe who has no mind and can't win without such weaponization.
8 - You point out that Biden went to a waffle house and had energy, but didn't mention that apparently he was sick and magically got better.
9 - You claim the next day Biden had a prte6tty good rally... but he has a bus of cheerleaders, said nothing and read it all off a teleprompter. It's back to being staged, where they can make Biden look great.
    Headed to bed.
Not being a dick here, just sayin, you dislike Trump and that's fine, he ain't my guy and I do live here... but often when people don't like someone they kinda see things to support that even if it's not there or not really relevant. Yes, Trump is getting older, I liked Vivek, so I get it, totally... But I assume you like feedback, even if you don't read it.

@@ShortFatOtaku Maybe this is just a Canadian thing (considering "healthcare" in Canada is telling those who have been in the military like me to consider killing ourselves.) but euthanasia is in no way "palative care", and it's incredibly weird to see you keep acting like that is what Northam was referring to when he CLEARLY wasn't.
Palative care is the easing of suffering of those with terminal illness by using medicine before it kills them. I've been in a hospice enough to know.
It is NOT killing them before they sucumb by pulling the plug, that is textbook euthanasia and blatantly felonious in the overwhelming majority of U.S states.
You bringing up "palative care" makes even less sense when you realize Northam was referring to children born with defects, not terminal illness.
To Northam, it's perfectly acceptable to kill a baby that was born with cleft pallet or a heart condition because it's a "major defect".
It doesn't matter to him that people with serious conditions like those are able to live relatively normal lives with the help of a medical procedure or lifestyle adjustments.
This is ultimately why your rebuttal of Trumps talk about Democratic support of late-term abortion falls so flat to a lot of us, as the "context" further reinforces what Trump claimed to be true.

      @weebdestroyer7649 2 месяца назад +12

@@ShortFatOtaku Except Northam never brought up terminal illness once, and was referring to children who are "not viable" or born with "major deformities".
"Major deformities" is a very broad medical term, and includes many birth defects that are NOT life-threatening.
To Northam, it is completely acceptable to perform a late-term abortion on a child born with cleft pallet or a heart defect.
This is in complete disregard to the fact that people born with one of those 2 or many other non-fatal "major defects" are able to live long and relatively normal lives with the help of a medical procedure or life style adjustment.
With this knowledge there's no other way but to call these "late-term abortions" anything else than what they are; blatant eugenics.
This is the main reason you calling Trump incorrect by whipping out the "muh wider context" as a defense of Northam's quote along with your constant mention of the irrelevant "palliative care" makes you look like someone who will make copious logical reaches in order to say he wasn't wrong when he clearly was.
Trump is factually correct in saying Democrats like Northam support late-term abortions, as rewatching the clip "in-context" makes Trump's assertion even stronger.

He's mad at Trump because he views the eastman memo as a power grab. The plan was to send electors from states with voting irregarities to recount and reelect presidential electors. The vice president as president of the Senate is the person who would have to approve this. Now some modern political scholars say this is mostly a serimonial position, but Nixon (being vp in 1960) did just this when there were questions of election tampering in Hawaii, despite the fact that he "won" Hawaii in 1960. After he sent the Hawaii electors back it was found that they would have swung for Kennedy. Hawaii sent two slates of electors that year. Even as recently as 2001 Al Gore attempted something similar to the Eastman memo as an attempt to overturn a swing state with calls of voter suppression (Florida in this case). So Dev views Trump as power hungry due to doing what presidents have done for years, which is bad faith, but being from Canada I can see why he might see it that way even though he's wrong. I also think that being a centrist is pretty central to Devs political identity, but the Overton window has moved so far left (dragging the modern right along with it) that Dev, by digging in his heals in his ideology and being consistent, has effectively become a rightoid and doesn't like that he is, so he latches on anything to kinda show that he isn't a rightoid. Everyone who tries to be good faith is guilty of this, over criticizing a side they are closer too in an attempt to appear non biased.

Trump's bullish personality can work well in a debate, but Biden has that same ego-driven bullish personality, so it lead to the two of them just trying to shout over each other for two hours and nothing went anywhere. He ameliorated himself in their second debate, and its definitely likely he's done the same here too. Not that we can't discount Trump's aging over the last 4-8 years either, he does seem to have a bit less energy in general, and someone younger would likely be better because of that, but not all of the difference is just age.

That clip you presented wasn't good evidence of Trump being old and going off on tangents. Man wasn't the most elegant speaker there, but the biggest different between the older clip and the newer one was measured thinking, not slower processing power nor irrelevance. I would also argue that there was a slight change in context that warranted the different type of response. Both were during the middle of a debate, but the older clip had Trump defending mudslinging against himself while also participating in it. The nature of the comment would naturally call for a more direct approach. The later clip was him stating his opinion on a policy, which is one many could disagree with and thus needs a smidgen more elaboration as to not come across as unempathetic.

    • @jaggededge11
      @jaggededge11 2 месяца назад

I saw the newer clip as Trump being more reserved overall, which I would chalk up to:
      1. There being no live audience (Therefore there isn't as much a need for a bombastic personality).
      2. He was on a shorter leash in terms of moderation (Knowing that any outburst would simply lead to getting muted).
If anything, he has showcased his capabilities numerous times at rallies leading up to the debate (Being able to speak and answer questions without the aid of teleprompters).

Answer- He didn't. In the second timespan I gave, the hypothetical clearly has him saying 'the baby will be delivered' meaning that NATURAL BIRTH is occurrring.
Even if I give you the point that he is referring to a failed abortion attempt (even though the moment is talking about when that woman said 'yes' to an abortion happening during birth)- one of the conditions he states is that the baby has a serious fetal defect and wouldn't survive. The death would not be caused by the doctors attempting to kill the baby- it would be from a natural defect. And at that point, the decision between prolonging the child's life through pallative care vs. killing the child quickly becomes just another part of the debate between surviving but in terrible condition vs. killing to end suffering debate.
All in all- You were wrong from the start. The clip proved you wrong in the first place. In order for you to have a point, we would have to ignore what Newsom actually said and insert a different meaning. You know, that thing the left did when Trump was talking about MS13 gang members and Charloettesvile. And let me tell you- you are going to lose the centrist/average person vote. • @isk8nyc

I'm sorry Dev, Northrum is objectively not saying doctors would talk about weather or not it's worth it to desperately try to save a infants life. He's also not clearly saying the fetus would be killed either. But considering that this is brought up in the context of abortion & why it's justified when the fetus has mass deformities. End this topic if further bookend with men shouldn't be telling women what to do with their body, because most legislators are men. But considering the left wings positions on
    A. Euthanasia is a moral good when there's no other choice.
    --AND---
    B. A belief that you have morality on your side so the ends justify the means (Left wing ideology)
That highly suggests post partum abortion would be on the table and moral if it's done to limit suffering.
While I don't think my comments are disingenuous to the left wing position, I do think your argument is overingernuous to this position and made on assumption of thing never claimed.
