so real quick note that this guy didnt mention: the fabric waystones mod is VERY different from its forge counterpart. forge version only uses XP cross dimension while fabric uses it for all travels. also fabric adds more items but not the vital item that allows you to travel to any waystone from anywhere with a item instead of needing a waystone.
7:30 So, how did a literal Ctrl C Ctrl V mod get on a "best mods" list? It doesn't add anything new, it is literaly a worse copy of Vanilla. No new mechanics, no QOL improvements, no atmosphere or pretty visuals. Why would it be considered "one of the best" or at least "decent" if it literaly has NO new content
Personally, I like it because it adds villages in the missing biomes, such as in the mountains, swamps, jungles, giant taiga, cherry grove, etc. Also the End Cities in the Overwordl with villagers are very good, the pillagers' posts, the mansions, etc., all adapted to their biomes and have their details, it is not that they are an exact copy. The only thing I like about this mod are the end fortresses in the jungle, these should always be underground.

If you want a ginormous explanation of why this mod that makes finding a normal landscape for building even harder, has villages that villagers can't even live in and makes other mods that have structures that took many hours each shadowed by lazy structures that take 20 minutes to make, let me know
fabric is for vanilla plus mods and modpacks forge is for any other mods and modpacks neoforge, quilt and any other modloaders are either outdated, unnecessary or just have no use I recommend forge if your playing on a potato as it gives me better performance

In my case it is the opposite. I would recommend Fabric if you have a potato PC.
