Great day with lots of variety and you took a lot of sharp objects out of harms way. For your finds bag I would get it to the right fit and then sew a couple of stitches through the end of the belt in to the main strap or maybe staple if sewing isn't your thing! 😄

Notching out is when you block out a certain range of numbers from being detected. So if numbers 0-11 are notched out you won’t hear anything that would ring in at those numbers. And the good stuff is usually a lower number in a lot of cases
It’s a setting on most detectors that lets you pick up signals from any kind of metal. When on beach mode the lower numbered targets are notched out(blocked) so you don’t hear them. And sometimes good stuff has a low number

I’m a Simplex user and because of price point and features, I’m considering the Legend over the 600/800 Nox.
I think I’m going to go for the Legend also. The Nox is cool but everyone is telling me they’re fragile and sometimes leak.
