- Today we’re Metal detecting at George Washington Park in Pacific Grove, California! We had some good luck out here today! This is a very old and big park with a lot of potential! I will definitely be back!
In this video I’m using The Legend by @NoktaEngineering with the 6 inch coil.
My settings today were:
Park mode
Multi 1
Sensitivity 20/25 ish
Iron filter 3
Stability 3
Recovery speed 6

SS typically stands for sterling silver and they said 14k wire so it's the wire that they wrapped around it. If it was stainless it would say stainless.
You're definitely young! I grab everything off the ground before I stand up (pointer, digger, detector) so I don't have to bend down again, lol!

That metal cap with threads and a hole is a cap for an old school metal pipe. Used to buy all those pieces separately and head shops and make our own pipes smoking that weed with stems and seeds

Awesome hunt dude! You've confirmed by belief that it's time to switch to parks since the beaches aren't paying off. That prybar is called a Cat's Claw. It's for removing nails.
Yea I feel like it might be time to focus on the parks. All our beaches here are sanded in pretty bad at the moment. I went out for about 6 hours yesterday at a popular beach and only got a handful of freshly dropped trash 😂😂

Virginia beach is in Virginia. about as far south as you can go before you reach North Carolina. Big vacation area.

Yup. As someone mentioned in chat. Stainless steel with 14k gold wire (accent). Not sure yet about the PJ. AWESOME!
And if the stone has a hole in the setting, it’s for it to breathe, meaning the stone is probably a ruby

The detecting coil on my detector is about the same size as this sensor. Mine looks solid but it is with a detector on the inside.
That ring is sweet. Definitely need to pay that park a few more visits.

What would you say about the difference
It definitely is! I’d say it’s a huge step up from the simplex, especially on the beach. I feel like I’m digging a lot less trash with the Legend. With the “ferro-check” feature it’s a lot easier to tell what is what.
